I've been using this phone for almost a year now. Till now I've not been facing any problems. Camera is not that good up to the mark but the music is awesome man, I can tell you that. Overall it's a sleek phone. I love it! Sony Ericsson makes the best phones man.

I might get Samsung g600 soon but might wait till this gets more naked. Hope this helps =).

Hi! I am using this phone about 2 months. I think this phone's features are too good to use. It is ROCK, cool & sleek.

DESIGN is VERY SUPER, BEAUTIFUL, NO NEGATIVE ATTRACTION IN IT.

CAMERA is GOOD BUT NOT EXCELLENT. FLASH IS VERY USEFUL.

NEGATIVE POINT, NO AUTOFOCUS, ZOOM IS VERY VEY POOR. MEGAPIXEL IS TOO LOW FOR ITS PRICE.

SOUND, sound QUALITY IS HIFI. LOUDNESS & QUALITY IS GREATER THAN ALL Nokia PHONES. MEGABASS NOT COMPARABLE. EQUALIZER IS SMASHER. IT IS TOO LOUD WHEN PLAYING VIDEO. NO NEGATIVE POINTS.

PICTURE, BETTER THAN OTHER Nokia 16 MILLION COLOUR. RESOLUTION IS EXCELLENT & SUPERB. VIDEO QUALITY IS ROCKING. NO NEGATIVE POINTS.

I just bought this phone. It is very good but compare to W810i, its design only differ remaining are same. Can anybody tell how can I find out my product is originally. Except 7 & 8 digit validation.

One more thing my phone colour is not so black but in the pack they wrote as precious black. Reply if your phone colour is like as my phone or.

I saw that the package was printed in china & catalogue too. I am confused is it original or not.

Camera 2MP but in megapixel mode has no ZOOM. Video Player is very slow, when any video file 5MB+. Voice is very clear in loud speaker. Bluetooth range is not so high. Browsing is fast (EDGE). Music quality is Too High.

Hi, I just now purchased this cool new phone & I am amazed to have this. Some features lacked compared to Sony's traditional mobiles: Auto Focus, it should have been provided & Audio sounds. Otherwise, this is one of the coolest phones I have had. I don't like Nokia phones.

This mobile is truly awesome. This comes from a previous Nokia aficionado. It is very easy to use. Ultimate sound quality, in the headphones, crisp photos. In all it is a piece of art in itself!

Sure some features are deficient. But it isn't a perfect world!

Camera:
+ flash is gud, clarity is fine, a 2MP cam
- Lack of Zoom.

In VGA mode also, the max zoom for still shots is just 2.5 x. Even the w 700i I had was a 4x zoomer.

Display: + Simply Superb, a 240x320 resolution delivering an unbeatable crystal clear & sharp, high definitely
- None for now

Sound: + the sound 'clarity & Quality' is outstanding.
Unbeatable an the best in its class, Megabass rox! & the fantopia earbuds gives a pleasurable music output.
- well, though it's a w-series phone. , the speaker lags 'loudness'.
The volume is comparatively too low with the older models. Could have been a 2 or 3 speaker sys like 550i for better surround.

Other Features
+ A good intuitive interface, a fast browser (great), Better Walkman software. 2.0, FAST PROCESSOR! , cool slier,
'The HOTTEST & the STYLISH PHONE EVER. Thanks TO the DANCING Orange LED's. DESIGN - the BEST'
- Cost seems to b a bitter part. , comparing it with the older ones, the features aren't much altered. So, the cost seems a bit high. Here in India (TN, Chennai) the price as of now is around Rs.17.5K, Camera zoom & the volume has to be increased & nothing else.

Note: 'If the camera zoom level & the volume is bit increased. This phone will be the best phone ever for its price. & Eye catching, hot design. Wow. The Orange LED's & the BLACK panel surely does the magic!

Don't know whether some people really know or not the exact utility of the three words given here to vote. The phone is good, specially the sound, video & sound mixing capabilities. It runs a little low on supported video format types. Camera is OK, but should have extended zooming outside the VGA mode. Must improve upon the video resolution. Features sober yet attractive. Overall out of 10 I would give it 9. Worth it really.

Its a great phone. I just got my hands on this phone a while back, now here I am on giving this piece of advice to all of you mobile freaks. THIS PHONE'S GOT EVERYTHING YOU NEED. I wonder when Sony Ericsson has done so much, why they couldn't install an AF camera. that the reason I rate this phone 95 when it comes to features. For this is the only drawback on this phone. Well screen quality is too good, & the 2' screen displays crystal clear images. Design is superb & some what different from 'normal mobile phones'. Well looks like a black ipod, Guys this phone gives much clear music than all those rubbish music edition phones from Nokia. Camera though not an AF camera, the clarity is too good. Can do away with feature as the music sounds good. More over it comes bundled with a pro duo 1GB card!

1. Sound quality is far better than Nokia's co called Music Edition phones. Even my existing iPod Nano (I gave it away to a cousin, since I don't need it no more).

2. Mega Bass TRULY rocks.

3. Miss'd an extra camera from 850i, but then come to think of it, do you really need it (apart from 'talking luxury')?

4. Very easy to use.

5. Miss Bluetooth Stereo, but I can live without that.

CONCLUSION: One of the best music phones I have come across.

The w830 & the w850 are the same phone, just that the w830 uses EDGE & the w850 uses 3G.

All Sony Ericsson W Series Mobiles are good only. W830i features are same as W810i & the big difference is W810i is a bar model whereas W830i is a slide model & hence it has a bigger display. W830i is more or less same as W850i in all design & features except one feature i.e. W850i has one more camera above the display which will be used for video calls which is missing in W830i. As from my point of view all W800 series mobiles are good enough to use.

This phone is perfect, it roxs. I can't go a day without using it 4 at least 6 hrs. Whoever wants a Sony Ericsson should look at this rockin phone, they would love it as soon as they see it. I've seen pictures for both, & read most of it for almost most of them. But is the only change the features? if so, which features are better?
