The Sony Ericsson W715 is a Vodafone exclusive Walkman™ music phone which comes in a stylish slide opening casing. This Vodafone exclusive W715 Walkman™ phone comes in a galactic black or luxury silver coloured casing. It's a compact handset which has slim dimensions of 14.3mm in depth, 47.5mm in width & 95mm in length. The W715 weighs 98 grams including the fitted battery which is lightweight for a phone with so many built in features & technologies. This music orientated 3G phone comes with a 262k colour screen which measures 2.4 Inches in size when measured diagonally. This desirable looking handset supports an auto rotate feature which allows the user to view the screen in a vertical or horizontal mode. The W715 is a member of the Sony Ericsson Walkman™ music phone range which includes other music phones including the Sony Ericsson W705 which is from the same music phone family.

A built in Walkman™ player allows the user to enjoy their favourite music at any time of the day. This slide opening handset comes with external music keys which allow the user to control their music when the handset is its slide closed position. The user can view their album covers on the large colour screen & this Vodafone exclusive handset supports Vodafone music. The W715 comes with a wireless listening experience thanks to the Bluetooth® stereo A2DP technology which allows the user to enjoy wireless connectivity to compatible headphones. The Sony Ericsson W715 comes with a built in Mega Bass™ feature which is a bass enhancement feature allowing the user to gain the best quality bass sound to suit the users style of music. A TrackID™ feature allows the user to record a few seconds of a song & the TrackID™ feature will provide the user with the name of the artist performing the song, the name of the album the song is from as well as the name of the song. The Sony Ericsson W715 comes with a fun SensMe™ music feature which matches the user's music to their mood. A shake control feature allows the user to twist or shake the handset to change a song which allows the user to control their music selection with minimal effort. The user can enjoy quality sound as the phone supports clear bass & clear stereo sound. An integrated radio feature allows the user to enjoy a FM radio experience complete with a radio RDS feature.

The instant message services can be gain with contacts that are online at the same time & works like an instant message service on the users PC. The W715 supports an email service which allows the user to communicate with others with email addresses & the W715 supports Exchange ActiveSync®. The user can send & receive SMS text messages on their new slide opening phone which allow the user to communicate with others with a compatible messaging service. A multimedia message service which is known as MMS messaging allows the user to send & receive messages containing text with sound & a picture for a fully equipped messaging service which allows the user to read, view & hear the contents of their message.

The Sony Ericsson W715 comes with one hundred & twenty megabytes of built in memory as well as supporting al memory stick slot which supports Micro™ M2™ type memory sticks up to four gigabytes in size. A four gigabyte memory stick can hold up to three thousand, nine hundred songs. This music phone is a WiFi technology phone which allows the user to gain a connection to the Internet via a nearby hotspot or local WLAN. The W715 comes with EDGE technology which provides fast data transfer rates when the user is transferring data between their 3G music phone & other compatible devices. The phone supports Bluetooth® wireless technology & USB connectivity which means the user can connect to other devices over a wireless connection or use a USB cabled connection. The connectivity options allow the user to gain a connection to other devices with compatible connectivity options available. This stylish handset works on a quad band network which works over four GSM networks & UMTS 2100. The Sony Ericsson W715 supports Google Maps™ & a Vodafone Find & Go feature which allows the user to find the nearest hotels, restaurants & much more using this built in Vodafone feature. This handset comes with a great start up kit which includes a rechargeable battery, a battery charger, USB cable, user guide, media manager, Sony Ericsson PC suite & a memory stick Micro™ M2™. The fitted rechargeable battery provides up to 10 hours of GSM talk time or up to 4 hours of 3G talk time. The battery can provide approximately 3 hours of 3G video call talk time or up to 20 hours of music playing time from a fully charged battery.

The user can download games to suit their gaming style & this entertainment focused 3G phone supports motion games for a lively gaming experience. An integrated camera feature supports both picture capture & video recording capabilities. The camera is a 3.2 megapixel digital camera which comes with a zoom function & a photo or video light to lighten up those darker surroundings. The user can use the photo fix feature to fix those pictures which are not perfect & the camera feature supports a geo tagging feature. The phone supports PictBridge™ printing which allows the user to connect their W715 to a compatible printer to print their colourful pictures. It's a good phone all round. Easy to use & a great design. The lock for the back cover is a great idea in case like me you drop your phone on occasions. The battery life is good as well. Good GPS & easy to operate. Good photo quality & the music player is good too.

All in all a good phone all round for the price.
