The Sony Ericsson W705 is a gorgeous looking 3G music phone which is one of many highly capable Sony Ericsson Music Phones from this music focused range. The W705 comes with a smooth slide opening casing which is available in two desirable colours. A luxury silver coloured casing gives this music phone a subtle & sophisticated look & a passionate red coloured casing gives the W705 a classy deep red glow which has an elegant & luxurious look. The smooth control navigation key, call keys & shortcut keys are set in a triple circular designed section which is situated beneath the colourful display screen. This beautiful 3G music phone comes with a 2.4 Inch colour screen which can be viewed when the handset is either in its slide closed or slide open position. The screen is 2.4 Inches in size which displays up to two hundred & sixty two thousand colours on a beautiful TFT screen. The Sony Ericsson W705 comes with an auto rotate feature which allows the user to view their screen in a vertical or horizontal screen mode. I had a C902. Horrid thing, firmware permanently a problem, handset froze several times a day, a proper nasty experience. After a bit of haggling, good old O2 replaced it with the W705.

It hasn't frozen once, the 3.2MP camera actually takes better pictures than the 5MP camera on the C902, battery lasts forever, & it's a very comfortable phone. Don't know anybody else who has one, but all my colleagues with their touch screen fandango machines really like the feel & size of the W705. Sweet little phone.

A great looking phone, easy to use & with a great Walkman, it is only letdown by absence of proper headphone jack. Camera though is possible the worst I've had on a phone & the plastic back makes it feel less solid than it should.

I received 2 of these phones from Orange & sent them both back. The first one kept asking for a SIM card & the second one had no sound at all. Very disappointed with Sony Ericsson as a previous phone had been excellent. I would not recommend this phone to anyone!

I love this phone but is it just my dodgy hands but the centre button has completely snapped off & it is falling of with my second one! A recommend if you don't have rugby players fingers though.

Got the phone from Dubai before it came to UK, good design & features but the battery life is poor, the phone freeze when making a call. Got another Sony Ericsson W705 this time in the UK, same problem, this time the keypad cracked & the sliding mechanism broke. The design may look wonderful but the engineering of the phone is quite poor.

Had the phone a week now & so far think it's a great phone. Looks good, easy to use & the keypad is spot on for texting (tried the C902 & couldn't get away with it).

Camera quality isn't great in low light although in good light its fine. Auto rotate is pretty good although seems a bit sluggish when doing it. Screen is a good size & quality.

So far glad I bought the phone, slim & looks great. I could have done with a better camera although it is a Walkman phone :).

I've only had this handset for one day, it is a beautiful looking phone, quick set up, easy to use & the Walkman features are great. However, the 3.2MP camera is a really poor pinhole type that doesn't capture motion very well & the 2MP one on my W810i was far superior.
