Great phone, just got in on contract with 3. I was previously on 02 PAYG, which admittedly was better for signal than with 3, but their signal issues are forever improving.

Looks & feels great, slim hard design, all the cool features on it if your're into that kind of thing.

Only cons, the battery life doesn't seem to be as good as my old W810i, camera doesn't have a light, decent quality otherwise. The button in the middle is slightly risen so for a while you may treat it like a joystick (soon get over that though). The buttons are a tad too small & the screen is insanely prone to scratches.

To be fair though these are just little things, it's fast, respsonsive & one of the best Sony Ericssons available.

It's an awesome phone I feel, as a Walkman fan!

I had never heard about this phone before, the shop person told me that it was released just a week before.

Till never I have not faced any problems like it hangs or etc. In fact it's too fast & good. This model comes with 512MB card. I guess this is a revised version (w660i). Yah, camera could be better with flash feature.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE IT FREEZES & IS SO SLOW. IT CRASHES & YOU HAVE TO TAKE the BATTERY OUT TO START IT UP AGAIN. YOU MAY THINK DAMN IT LOOKS GOOD, YEAH IT DOES. BUT IT'S SO RUBBISH. TRUST ME. I HAD MINE FOR 3 DAYS & IT STARTED PLAYING UP. BATTERY LIFE IS RUBBISH!

PLEASE don't WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT. NOW I AM HAPPY WITH MY LUNA Nokia.

I really like this phone except for 2 things.

- the battery life isn't that amazing, my 4 year old Samsung had similar was just as good.

- Every day it seems to get a little slower & it feels like any time soon it's going to just die altogether. I got it 3 to 4 weeks ago. Here are some examples.
E.G. Whereas a text coming in would have instantly popped up onscreen, now it flashes for about 5 seconds before doing so.
E.G. Also its' response time to pressing buttons is slowing down.
E.G. The Orange shortcuts take a good 2 to 3 seconds to show up whereas they were instant when I first got it.

This sort of problem is the reason I haven't bought a new phone in years because when they just come out they always seem to have bugs. Am I the only one?

I like everything else so this weird slowness problem is a big disappointment, perhaps when they release a fixed version (as they always do) it'll be totally ace.

I much prefer the design of this phone because of how slim it is. Many other phones stand out too much in your pocket so I find this sleek. I like the bold red design. Nice for it to be different!

Also usability is great. Battery life great. It would have been great if it had standard games you don't have to buy to keep! But I am liking the Bluetooth remote controller!

I hate this phone. First of all, the instructions are bad, there's no diagram to show how to fit the battery or the SIM card, & I had to take it back to the shop to let the staff do it. Second, the charger is dodgy & Sony Ericsson (I was told by the shop who sold it to me) claim the warranty doesn't cover the charger. The shop replaced my faulty charger, but they claimed they didn't have to apparently Sony Ericsson won't take responsibility if the charger they sell with their phone doesn't work. Third, while the phone is charging, you can't use it. I've never before bought a mobile phone that wouldn't let you use it while it was plugged in & charging, but this one won't. It's a piece of rubbish, I am deeply unhappy that I am stuck with it now for the next 18 months. I am never going to buy Sony Ericsson again.

I love this phone got it for Christmas hasn't faulted me one little bit. But I don't know if when I exit the Internet it goes off because at the top of the screen it says that I am still connected & I might be getting charged for this! I am on a pay monthly contract so I can't really tell if it is or not until January. But still great phone good value for the money. I recommend this phone hugely.

The good, nice design, with beautiful menus, the mobile phone shake when clicked a button (very cool), the MP3 player, the battery life.

The bad, only 2 mp camera, price, video quality, a little feminine!

Conclusion, it could be an amazing phone if it was a cheaper one, there is better options in the market with better prices!

Score is 7.5.

Have my 660i now for almost a month & so far so good. The only problems are.

- If you miss several calls from the one person you cannot tell what time they rang you at, only the last missed call is shown.
- Buttons are small.
- Most annoying is the low battery warning does not give much warning! Can die after only 30 seconds from warning note sounds.

Why are the downloads going to other which can't be played? I can't figure it out, & the women in the Indian call centre couldn't either. I can't believe it's memories full after downloading one track that has gone into music, what is this other. I bought this for the music Walkman essentially & of course the phone, if I could get rid of all the other stuff I would but can't get rid of Sony greetings etc.

Leave it in your pocket & you lose reception SOS. Then try it again & it switches OFF. Now it doesn't want to Work anymore. IT'S A JOKE. I would like to leave 3 but I can't. I have to pay them 320 to leave I think I can't afford it. PLEASE AVOID 3 & THIS phone.

I was really pleased with this phone. I went from having a K800i so it was a bit naff to go from a 3.2MP to just a 2 but I have a digital camera for that! LOL!

Overall I am impressed, the thing that drew me to it the most was the memory for music & the fact it has no horrible joy stick! (my old one was so unreliable).

Fabulous phone for both girlies & boys!

Firstly - yes you can assign ringtones to a specific contact :).

This is a really good phone! I had the Samsung e900 & it drove me mad, but now I've got this I am so pleased & wouldn't change it if I was offered the most expensive phone for free! Everything is good on this - it's a very usable & feature-filled phone. I haven't found anything I don't like about it!

Definitely the best phone I've ever had - get it if you want a great phone whose camera & music player are pretty good (if you want them to be fantastic, buy a camera or MP3 player). I am really pleased with it :).

Pros - Awesome design, great Walkman 2.0, good battery life, decent all round!

Cons - Tiny navigation keys, no flash or auto focus.

I have the black one it's a bit blingy but who cares, it's small & slim yet solid. Recommended!

I received this phone on a contract from 3 at first the phone was great, I was disappointed that there was no flash but this phone has a brilliant memory. Then the buttons didn't work there-for I couldn't use the phone to do anything it took 8 days for the phone to come back to me only to learn that they didn't fix it! I only had the phone for 14 days & they have said that it was caused by very bad water damage but the only time I was near water was when it was raining! So I need some help/advise on what to do as I am adamant that this is not my fault & now I have a 18 month contract that I can do nothing with.!

Not impressed with the games because you can only try before you buy the games in your applications menu! I like the option of just pressing the key on the side of the phone to find out quick details such as model & your own number! The memory is good as I can store a lot of data. Also like the way it stores recent contacts in the compose messages so you don't have to search through your phone book!

This is a good phone for radio, out on the go & plugged in with MP3 for house work LOL. Don't be expecting high quality video recording play back is very blurred I.e. A bit like a webcam. Also key lock is recommended I often find myself browsing the net or asking want to continue play back? Unlike other Sony Ericsson's the keys are fine, not cracking under pressure.

I can't seem to locate a photo light or anything on the phone though & that's the only problem I have with it. When is it going to be released in UK anyway? It's really cool :D

This phone is great! It's everything I normally carry - MP3 player, camera, radio, agenda, address book & phone - all rolled into one. I love that I can put on the radio or my music on speakers when I am working so my work mates can listen too. Also great because the MP3 player automatically pauses when I get a call so I don't miss any. Wow I've had this phone for about 2 days now & just really impressed with all the features it has to offer. The sound quality is amazing, I mean this is the first Sony Ericsson I've had & so it's given me quite an impression on Sony Ericsson as a whole. The camera is average but then again it's only a phone so no worries for me. However, the lack of a flash does put a slight downer on my opinion. The battery life I've yet to test as I haven't been using it for long & usually the first time you use a new phone the battery life isn't too good but should increase by probably the next charge I do. I was impressed with the radio function, I mean the sound quality is amazing & you can even have it play through the speakers. But, as I found out you do need to have to have hands-free plugged in as this is where the radio antenna is kept, slightly annoying when you know the whole idea of having hands-free plugged in is to use hands-free not to listen to radio out loud. My version is in pink, it's absolutely brilliant, as a fan of pink phones the fact it was available in this colour made me sway dramatically to picking this phone. I recently owned a LG pink chocolate phone until not long ago it went missing in a taxi. Heartbroken he he he but not for long! As this is my replacement phone I am very proud & happy I picked this one. It surpasses the ability of the LG chocolate (which failed to impress me with its MP3 player ability & battery life, sigh). The W660i came with 21 songs already on the memory card (not sure if this comes as standard), & you can listen to the songs & do something else at the same time. The extra storage on memory card is a nice touch as you don't have to be stuck with the on board phone memory. All in all this is a pretty nifty phone! Anyone would be satisfied with this phone, it does everything with style. I can even hear my phone ringing when someone calls, the level of sound this phone can achieve is amazing. The sound quality when talking to someone on the phone is also very clear, so even if you're talking in a crowded place you can hear the person clearly.

You won't be let down with this phone ;)

So far, very good, loads of features packed into a slim, sleek phone. As a music lover, I can't complain, the Walkman works great & the RDS radio is a nice touch.
