Was given this phone as a gift & I think it's great. Sound is good & its easy to use but. & there is only one but. Theres no Bluetooth. Other than that its a great phone at a decent price. You can't have everything on a budget so if you just have to have Bluetooth then get a different model.

I brought this phone purely because it was cheap & cheerful & was pleasantly surprised how good it was after I downloaded most of the Internet onto it, it now feels top of the range & don't know how anyone can complain & call it rubbish, for the price it is excellent value for money.

Just got one (for £30) & I think it's brilliant. Great value & awesome sound. Good camera & easy to use. The only bad thing I have found so far is the fact it has no Bluetooth. Other than that I would recommend it for someone on a budget who wants a great phone for a very small price. I would recommend at Woolworths (I think) they are on half price.

Plus.
- Easy to use.
- Complete feature.
- Great sound (thanks to Sony Walkman technology).

Minus.
- No Bluetooth (but reasonable with the price).
- In MegaBass mode, middle tone is low, not suitable with classic or jazz music.
- Noflash, camera only VGA.
- External memory use memory stick, more expensive than micro SD.

Conclusion, great budget phone

Well, I got this phone for £65 & it's a waste of money if you ask me. No Bluetooth, rubbish camera that's not even useable come on the pictures are so blurred! Okay the Walkman is good but what's the point of having one when you can't even fit a decent amount of songs on it. Who wants to waste time constantly changing what music is on their phone when they should be able to fit it all on.

I have had this phone for a few months now & already there's problems with it freezing & doing stuff slowly it's a nightmare way too time consuming to use & a waste of money!

Bought this handset on O2 payg as a stop gap between contracts. Thankfully it's long gone after 2 months of use. The only redeeming feature on this phone is the Walkman. I found the joystick annoyingly unresponsive & reluctant to 'click' in the direction you want. Also the battery life considering the severe lack of modern features is appalling, for example a normal day at work using wap for about an hour & texting throughout practically kills the phone. It feels really unsubstantial & empty (which it more than likely is inside). I have liked all the Sony Ericsson handsets I've had over the years, but this one was very disappointing. It is cheap but then it doesn't have anywhere near enough modern features to warrant paying over 30 quid for it. So all in all a good phone for a young child, or someone who uses a mobile as an emergency item. But for anyone who likes to utilise various features on the move will be left disappointed.

I got this phone yesterday in Woolworths. I got the pink limited edition one, think it's only available on Orange.

For £29.99 I think I got a bargain. I only really need a phone to text & make the occasional call. My last Sony Ericsson cost me £20 2 & a half years ago & still works perfectly, I just wanted a change.

Don't buy this phone if you're a gadget head & want a fancy camera/Bluetooth/WAP but nevertheless it's a great phone!

I would recommend it to my friends.

Just got this phone today & am more than pleased. Got some mini speakers included with it as well which are great. For 35 quid I am more than happy, I was expecting to only get a very basic phone for this price, so to have the music capability of this phone is a total bonus to me. I like the way it looks, & yes there are a few things that could be better, but being a 34 year old I have yet to discover the joys of Bluetooth (don't knows why I would need it) & I have two perfectly good digital cameras anyway. I am fed up of buying phones that do 'this' & 'that', paying the earth for them, never using the fancy functions & wasting my money.

100% for all aspects because for the price this phone is very good value.

This is an excellent mobile phone that has a brilliant layout & can be transported very easily due to its light weight. At 30 quid from Argos, it was a great deal. The best feature about this is probably the great quality of sound from the Walkman music player & easy to use.

There are 3 main features that lets this product down.

- 0.3 megapixel camera, no light for taking photos at night & no auto focus either.
- No Bluetooth, it's a pity as the infared port is awkward to use.
- No more for your phone that includes downloading songs & not a proper Internet browsing system.

I bought this phone recently for £45 which included £10 airtime with Orange. I wanted a model that was smart, easy to put a few mp3s on to set as ring tones & generally user friendly. I wasn't disappointed & was up & running in a few minutes without reading the manual, it is that easy to use. The headphones & 128 memory card packaged with the phone are a nice touch & you can be listening to the radio or a few favourite tracks in seconds of switching on the phone. If I lose or damage this phone, whoopee doo, it won't break my heart or bank balance. In fact I'll buy the same phone again. Try out all the features on this value for money phone.

I bought this phone a few weeks ago on Asda mobile which is a very good tariff. The phone is a nice size & build quality appears to be good. It has a 128MB micro SD card included which is great. However I thought that I could save my texts onto this card but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. Saving the texts as templates you have a maximum of 20 which is no good, the sim card can only save a handful. If anyone can tell me how to do this I would be grateful, the Sony website is no help at all. It would have been a good idea if the phone wasn't disabled when listening to the Walkman, when listening to the radio calls can still get through. The joystick thing is OK but sometimes you can press the button accidentally whilst nudging the stick from side to side but this is a minor problem. All in all though I like this phone.

Hi People, got this phone for one month now & I must say this phone is the Bomb. The speaker quality is great as is characteristic of Sony Ericsson's, the headphones provide a very deep bass sound & also clear reception for the radio stations. Battery life is OK, multitasking excellent, no hanging. Plus the phone can play video files in 3GP format. Internet browsing is OK only that the settings are a bit complicated than for other phones.

On the other hand the camera quality is nothing to write home about, no Bluetooth & the headset connecting port is the same one used as the charger port therefore no FM radio playing all night long for those of us who like leaving the FM radio on through the loud speaker all night.

Not a bad phone for 9, 000 KShs. Finally, if you are looking for a music phone, & on a tight budget, I'd recommend that you highly consider this phone. Adios!

A nice enough looking handset but letdown by a slightly flimsy feel but incidentally no worse than more pricy Sony Ericsson phones. I have an old T2610 & that feels bombproof compared to this & the K550 which a friend owns.

Pretty low quality camera, no Bluetooth & an average screen are low points but the interface is nice & easy to use, music player is big plus & the bundled headphones are surprisingly good. I just need a phone for basic communications & the Walkman feature is nice to have on the commute to work so this does the job.

I think this phone is overpriced because it used to cost 60 quid but I got it for 35 luckily! The phone doesn't have Bluetooth & I couldn't believe it when I saw it going for 60 quid. There are some good features but the Walkman button is really tacky & the camera is 0.3 megapixel! What a load of rubbish!

I bought handset through Orange & would not recommend buying this phone through this particular operator, the display & icons were very poor the screen being always Orange & the icons always grey & blurred, with no other colours to change it to. I have had nightmare in trying to obtain a refund from Orange even though it seems the setting were incorrect & couldn't be changed. I also found the WAP to be fairly inaccessible & being told it was unavailable. The overall size of the phone is fairly bulky & would not necessarily associate this phone with Sony Ericsson. Overall I think this handset seemed lower quality than expected.

The Sony Ericsson W200i is a lovely & stylish phone. It has a Walkman media player & VGA Camera. It is easy & simple to use. It has got a really bright & colourful screen. The phone is small & easy to carry everywhere. But it would have been better if Sony Ericsson thought of adding Bluetooth & maybe infra-red so it would be easier to get songs from your friend's phones instead on going on to the Internet & trying to download songs & using your USB cable. But overall it is a lovely phone to have.

I just love it, commented one reviewer.
This phone is rubbish, remarked another.

The Sony Ericsson W200i phone has most of the modern functions you would need in a mobile phone, but it's not what the users & reviewers need, they seem to be commenting more on what they want. This particular model of phone has all the basics, a basic camera, video, MP3 & Walkman, infra-red to more recent models, it does lack several features that would make the phone more ideal for users.

In conclusion, I personally feel that the Sony Ericsson W200i is a generally good phone, but several aspects, like the clarity of the photos, could be enhanced.

If your income is more & more & more than double the phone price, stop complaining about Bluetooth & camera, but go for another higher models in the market. Don't keep holding your pockets & ask for more! This phone is great thanks to Sony people who made this great phone for the average people around the world, especially who LOVE MUSIC!

This is a great phone when you just want to hear great music. I believe this is the best phone in its price range. The usability of features is just great & comfortable. For around 50 pounds this has a whole lot of features.

The body design is not so sturdy & people with large hands may not feel comfortable when typing. Overall I rate this mobile 75%. The major contributor to this rating is the price.

It's a great phone. I got it really cheap £40 in comet, but the only reason I have not given it full marks is because of the lack of Bluetooth, I want to be able to share stuff with my friends & I am disappointed with the lack of it, I would happily pay an extra £10 just for Bluetooth. The camera isn't that good but I don't mind at all. The lack of Bluetooth is its 'Achilles heel'. Any Sony Ericsson is better than a Nokia, THEY'RE UGLY & AWKWARD.

Now a lot of people will blast this mobile due to the lack of features such as Bluetooth & megapixel camera but you get what you pay for. I bought this mobile from Tesco for £54 on Vodafone which included a £20 top up. I knew it only had infa red but the Walkman feature on this phone makes up for it. The battery life differs on what features you use on the phone. If you are making calls & text then you have more battery life, than if you use the Walkman. You can still get 3 hours plus on music I would say on a full charge. I have had this mobile for two months now & I am happy. Out of ten I would give it a 7 but saying that you will have to use it yourself to make your own decision on what rating you would give. Overall, another good Walkman mobile & the W200i is the cheapest on the market.

The W200i is a brilliant phone as it is easy to find your way around it & it has some nice features, however one of the features it does lack is Bluetooth, but I can't really complain because of how cheap the phone is (£50). The camera isn't very good but I am not really bothered about that either as I don't take many photos with my phone. The design is nice, it's small but not too small & the colour I chose (black) is nice although you can see finger marks easily. One thing that does annoy me about the design is that it's not a rectangular phone, the top & bottom are slanted a little, if you were to stand it up it'd fall straight down. If you look at pictures you'll see what I mean. I think this is an excellent phone as long as you don't care about Bluetooth & a very good camera. It looks nice, has some nice features & is cheap. What more can you ask for?

Hmm, bought the phone two days ago it's great. The bass reflex headphones are really doing the trick. Voice quality is great. Speaker is quite laud considering it has such a small speaker. The phone lacks Bluetooth & a sharper screen but with this price you would not except much. Camera is only for taking fun pictures not bad seeing that it's only a VGA camera. But Sony Ericsson didn't say it's a camera phone it's a music phone which is great. You should buy this phone. The battery is good but not good enough Sony Ericsson should improve there. There is no phone with such features in this price range.

This phone is easy to use & is good for general phone usage. The sound on this phone is good. Only problem is if you want to use Bluetooth but (for me) this wasn't a problem as I just plug the USB in & got music off the computer.

Overall I think this phone is great & would be worth getting. If you would use your phone for photos or use Bluetooth this phone would probably not be the best phone for you.

Merlin & Becca, why would it come with a memory card if the slot wasn't available? Anyway this phone is a good little phone for youngsters who want a Walkman enabled phone, the only drawback being no Bluetooth which would make it easier for upload mp3s from the PC rather than via USB. I have had Sony's for years but far more advanced models & never been let down by any.

Great all rounder for anyone under the age of 25 I would say who doesn't want hundreds of songs or live with a Bluetooth headset attached to their ears.
