It's a really nice looking phone (I have got the red & gold version) & the metal exterior is all classy & hasn't faded (the plastic colour is wearing off from sum of my buttons but that's because I am always playing games) so looks wise I'd give it a 9 out of 10 it could've been 10 out of 10 but the design isn't anything new because it's a common design.

The features in this phone are quite good. I like the notes & tasks section, the code memos also a really good feature, these 3 are just really hand & convenient. The applications are quite cool too, I like the Dictaphone (handy for when you're at university you can just record the lecturer so you don't have 2 listen yourself ha ha ha) & the comeks strip is sonething fun 2 mess bout with. BUT & 4 me it's a big but (pun! Sorry couldn't help saying that!). The camera is disappointing. OK so it does have useful features, you can take different types of pix & you can edit the photos like the light levels or whatever, the problem is that it doesn't have autofocus. You have 2 be really still when you take a shot & stay still for a few seconds or it'll come out blurry. I had a w810i & it was 2MP & the picture quality was reel really really good. This phone is 3.2MP & when you zoom in it isn't anywhere as sharp as my W810i.Theres a flashlight, good! But no flash, bad! Also the music quality is rubbish, the speakers are weak & tinny, songs are filled with noise but the good thing is that it's really clear when listened through headphones.

I don't like the charger port being on the side, when I am using the phone while it's charging I can't hold the phone properly, annoying! Plus there is nothing to cover it either its exposed. Typing is annoying too, I have small thin fingers but theses buttons are 2 small! They should have made it a little bigger!

Sony Ericsson T700 is a very nice phone! I bought the black sleek one! Great interface! Fast data transfer! Very vibrant & agile!

I also found two down points about it:
- Weak & low speaker.
- No flash & automatic zoom.

The rest is all GREAT!

I have had the Sony Ericsson for 5 weeks now. It only available in Red & Silver on the O2 network, as a portion of the sales to goes charity. Texting & making calls is straightforward for those who are used to the Sony Ericsson menu system. What a like about this phone is it light in the pocket or shoulder bag, it has a good battery life lasting 4 to 5 days dependent usage, will be less if you use the MP3 player & radio often. There are a few useful accessories on the phone like a torch, code memo to hide away your most used passwords, plus a 'notes' section which is a notepad that allows you to put brief note on the screen as reminder. I mainly use my phone for texting & email. This phone has POP email, it allows you to enter your email address & password allows you to download emails from my hotmail account to my phone. It cannot show attachments but it allows me to see what's in my account & priority my replies, which I find useful. This is a good phone for those want a phone with a few added extras.

This is an interesting 3.5G phone, nice design, great looks, nice camera, slim style & light weight with good feature on Internet connectivity, but where is the front camera?

You must use a mirror to make a video call!

Cons.

- Comparatively bit small display, yet sufficient.
- Speaker audio quality is more of treble type.
- Slim but not very light weight.
- Bit difficult 2 work with small keypad.
- Great & endurable metallic coat finish.
- For software junkies this isn't Symbian & supports only.
- If you want to install application & games NOT ADVISABLE PHONE.

Pros.

- More importance to creativeness.
- Perfect slim look.
- Battery backup is appreciable.
- Excellent hands-free sound.
- Far better than N72, Nokia Xpress music (failure), Nokia crystal.
- Camera picture on PC resolution is great.
- Very convenient usage.
- Good talk time & standby.
- With Internet T700 turns out to be a mini computer.

N72 & Xpress fans don't rage at me. I am a user of all three models & PERSONALLY suggest T700.
