Phone is awesome, I was in Greece & I dropped the phone off of a 8 floor up balcony & it survived no dents. Works perfectly had it since the first week it came out in Sony Ericsson shops, I have dropped it more than 40 times I can guarantee & its still in perfect shape. I have dropped it in the sea, its been under the shower & it still works perfectly. Good for a younger user (which is me)! & probably good for a business type thing.

I had this phone for nearly a year up until a couple of months ago when I figured I needed an upgrade. This phone was truly the best phone I've EVER had the privilege of owning. I had the pink & gold version but after seeing the prices they were going for on eBay I decided it was time to sell up & buy a touch screen!

This phone never broke on me. Once or twice it did turn itself off which was inconvenient but it did return to the home screen without asking for pins again which was good! One of the best phones on the market today still.

Definitely puts it's upgrade to shame though, a MUCH better phone than the T700 (which let's be honest, is ugly).

I really cannot fault this phone, another great one from Sony.

I've now had this phone for 18 months & it has never broken once, it's a great phone, you soon get used to the small keys & they are easy to text with.

I didn't know there was a pink version! Mines blue & silver. The silver colour is wearing off the buttons & the blue off the main toggle button but after 18 months I can't complain.

The camera isn't the best but it's OK.

I am looking for a new phone but only because I like to change my phone once a year & obviously it's been well over now, I am just starting to worry I'll regret changing it & end up with a rubbish phone. Any recommendations?

I've had my handset 18 months & it's still going!

Brilliant design. Great specs. There's no phone like it.

Am looking at new phones & realising, I am being a fool!

There are no new phones with the same specs at the moment. All new phones are cheap touch screens without autofocus (which is an absolute must for decent photographs), or seriously expensive handsets with 8 megapixels & all the bells & whistles that take them right out of our price range.

Buy it buy it buy it, it won't go wrong, & has everything you need (except maybe Wi-Fi? but who needs the Internet anyway? ).

I bought this phone in gold & pink for starting the academy & have loved it! It is so stylish & all my friends loved it & now all want it. I have had it for the last 10 months & people are still commenting & saying how cool my phone is. The battery life is really good & all the main features are to my liking. It's quite loud especially for not actually being a music phone. The camera is not amazing but it's still good. I actually love the scratch less screen because my old phone was scratched to pieces just from being in & out of my pocket. The keys may be small but are really useful & easy to use. The way they light up is really cool. I would really recommend this phone to any1 especially people my age. It has definitely been my favourite phone!

I love this phone to bits, I got the pink & gold one (O2) for Christmas, but I have had a couple of problems with it, the screen isn't as bright as it should be & it's on 100% & the screen moves & the back seems to be coming away from the phone itself, the backlight is really starting to bug me as it is on 100% brightness & looks like it's only on 50% so I hate that big about my phone, & I text a lot so the colour on the buttons are wearing away already! Love the colours & that is probably the only thing I like about this phone.

But I love it yet again. Umm. The k750i is way better, as it just doesn't break whatever you do, & if you drop this one it would break into little pieces. I have dropped it a couple of times onto brick, rough surfaces & my phone looks really tacky now.

Great phone but rubbish backlight.

The phone is great, but the camera is little bit disappointing, it's not a 3.2 megapixels but more like 1.3 megapixels, it's got a good processor that can run more than 2 to 3 applications at once without the phone even being slow which is great. Expandable isn't so great because it only expands up to 2GB. The paint on the keypad starts to fade away after some time which makes the phone so cheap looking. When you first start using the phone your fingers will actually be quite sore at the tips from the buttons, but otherwise the phone is great. If you don't have one, you need to buy one.

Got this phone end of last summer & it's been the best phone ever! One bad thing is that the colour has start wearing of on the buttons, which makes it look a bit cheap. & that the camera could have been better, but if you´re only taking photos in bright light its good enough. I will have to give it credit for still working it's been soaking wet 3 times & dropped on the floor & street more times, it's been working perfect until the other day when it ended up in a pint glass so now finally I think the screen is giving up. But still, I have never had a phone that could handle so much abuse!

Truly flawless little phone from Sony.

Great looks, excellent build quality & intuitive to operate. Highlights for me are undoubtedly the mineral glass screen, visible from any angle & easily readable even in bright sunlight. The sound quality is also excellent for such a small phone.

The keypad is a touch of genius, tiny but easily operated keys. I am also a big fan of this models battery life, even with regular use I can still go a week between charges.

Had it for 6 months & have no intention of changing it soon. Sony have got the T650i spot on.

It has any feature anyone would look for in a phone. But if you care about the camera, it's not that clear. Sony Ericsson K phones have better cameras.

I have the pink & gold version. The phone is absolutely amazing my perfect phone. Its camera is 3.2 megapixels & very clear perfect for taking everyday pictures. Its music player is very loud actually louder than my old MUSIC phone! You choose how much memory you want & it has all the usual Bluetooth phone book etc. I would recommend it to anyone except people who are business men etc. I got mine in August & there hasn't been one fault with it since then. The design is the part of it! The back is stainless steel so doesn't scratch & the buttons are small but spaced wide apart so I never miss type anything if I am texting the buttons also light up which looks really good. I had never seen anyone else with this phone & now all my friends want it! Ha ha I would definitely say get this phone its perfection especially for teenagers who like showing people there phone & taking photos playing music etc. Get it now if you're a girl definitely get the pink & gold I can't even imagine getting a better phone now! Hope I helped x.

WELL what CAN I SAY! JUST BOUGHT the PINK & GOLD VERSION TODAY & I UNLOCKED IT SO I COULD PUT MY T MOBILE CHIP IN IT.

The phone IS AMAZING! Sleek, STYLISH, SMALL & ALSO VERY SOPHISTICATED. I am PLAYING WITH IT AT THIS PRESENT MOMENT. EVEN THOUGH IT IS £130 IN the SHOPS IF you TRADE IN YOU GET IT FOR £110 WHICH IS NOT BAD AT ALL FOR A phone WHICH IS A LIMITED ADDITION BENEFIT MAKE UP phone. I ALSO USED MY LITTLE MAKE UP RUSH HOUR STICK WHICH IS ALSO FABULOUS & THAT COMES FREE WITH the phone & THAT NORMALLY COSTS £20 ON ITS ON!

ON A WHOLE I am HAPPY.

I think this phone is awful because I just dropped it onto the carpet floor from about 5cm away from the floor & it broke, but it was on a carpet floor, what! Then I bought another phone. It was LG KC550 (Orsay). I accidently dropped it on the road from 144cm, it never broke, it still worked. So if you want to get a good phone, get LG ORSAY (KC550).

I bought the pink & gold version which is only available with 02 & can only be bought in O2 shops (£130, £110 with a trade in of any old phone).

I think it's a fantastic phone & is definitely stylish. It's easy to use & the camera & music player functions are brilliant.

The battery life is very impressive & you even get a charging dock for free which has come in very handy. However, the texting can be hard as sometimes the button does not register when you've pressed it.

Other than this small fault, the T650i is a fantastic phone. I would recommend it to many people of all ages.

It's an excellent phone & I've been using it since last more than 7 months now. Alls fine the great look, styling & above all mineral glass which is scratch proof. But there is one flaw that is the colour & coating on the centre D key which peels off to expose the white, dirty looking, opaque plastic. Sony Ericsson should really think to improve the exterior quality of plastics.

I have the Sony Ericsson T650i In precious gold & pink.

& I must say it's the best phone I have ever had by far! It's a brilliant looking phone its camera is excellent & has a really loud speaker its buttons are quite wide apart so it's easy to text with. I also like the stainless steel backing cover as it prevents you from seeing scratches its screen is also very bright. I would definitely recommend this phone & if you're a girl you should definitely get it in precious gold which is exclusive to 02.

My Husband bought me the Limited Edition Pink & Gold version on the day of release & I love it, it's gorgeous.

It feels SO solid & well built. He has a Sony Ericsson but he said his doesn't feel as solidly built as mine.

I had an LG Chocolate before this one & this one is SO much easier to use. I haven't had to look at the user manual yet, except to figure out the phone charger cradle that was supplied with the phone.

I highly recommend this phone, I am so happy with it. This is my first Sony Ericsson & I would definitely buy another.

I wrote my first review of this phone when I first got it last December. Seven months later I still dig this phone (love the buttons) but have one major complaint. For a phone that is supposed to be made of high class materials, the chrome strip along the side wears off very easily (although it's not that noticeable). But, far worse, is the D pad. Its colour coating wears off in no time to reveal cheap looking opaque plastic that kind of ruins the whole fashion effect of the phone.

Great mobile! I got this as a present for my beloved wife on her birthday tomorrow (I just hope she'll love it the way I do). After I checked the mobile, the more I felt I made the right choice. The unit itself looks classy (I got the growing green one though). The features are great! Especially the changing colours of the icons throughout the day. I don't know what amazing features & animation I'll discover in coming days.

Same like my w910i, this phone will worth every penny you'll pay for. Good job Sony Ericsson! I just hope you'll come up with a unit combining the features of S500 & T610.

Keep it up!

This is my second T model from Sony Ericsson my first was T-39m. The one that came out at the early stage after Sony bought over Ericsson.

As far as I am concern there's nothing much to complain about both of Sony Ericsson's that I ever used. Overall it's functioning well. The only setback will be the video caption as it pretty much. Well would say, not that sharp. The built is sturdy. This T650i is made to cater for people who are enthusiast about both music & camera, as it caters perfectly. Knowing for its built & other function that it's have within the system, otherwise, it's better for user to carry along their SLR or digicam or MP3 & MP4 player along & let alone the phone stand for its original function.

Slick & its look simple yet exclusive.

BRILLIANT, I have had this phone for 2 months now & can only describe the phone as perfect. I first noticed the T650i about 8 months ago & fell in love with it instantly. I made a promise that one day I would own one. That promise has come true. The phone has all the major functions you could ever need & more. I remember saying years ago why doesn't anyone make a phone with a built in torch, well this phone has just that. The only downside is that I am too scared to touch it just in case I leave finger prints, FANTASTIC PHONE. The BEST.

Had this phone for 7 months now & frankly I am disappointed. The Sony Ericsson brand has now let me down twice, had a W550i that kept crashing & now this phones speaker phone has gone, which let's face it when we now use our mobiles for many different thing aka alarm clock then this phone & many Sony Ericsson phones let themselves down. Sony Ericsson as a brand also let themselves down. I do actually like the Sony Ericsson phones but now feel let down. They say lightning never strikes twice but with this brand I fear it does, & when you consider the cost of it then it's not worth it. Come on Sony Ericsson you must do better. If this review had reliability then it would get 0%.

It's a great phone. I bought it about three weeks back & am still surprised with the number of features packed into its slim design. Easy & comfortable keypad is ideal for text messaging although it doesn't look like that. I think the camera is average because of the poor video recording but the picture quality is decent.

I was about to buy a much cheaper Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson but the shopkeeper convinced me to buy this one. Also I got it at 60% of its price in an sale & am glad I did. The Bluetooth headset is just amazing & works for long distances & even after I have passed through a wall (not a door). I wasn't even aware of the lights & themes feature until I read the other reviews & am yet again a proud owner of a gorgeous yet practical phone. 9 out of 10.

I've had this phone for a few weeks now. I haven't had any problems with it yet, except for a slight battery issue. It seems to have cleared up now, especially after I cycled it.

The design is really quite appealing to look at. The only part of the phone that shows fingerprints to a bad extent is the mineral glass display. But it's comforting to know it won't get scratched easily. The lights & themes are interesting, particularly the one that changes colour throughout the day. The special effects for specific holidays were amusing as well, hearts drifting down the screen for Valentine's Day, snowflakes for New Years. Etc.

The buttons take a little getting used to, but they fit the purpose they were built for. I actually find it easier to text with these buttons rather than the standard type. Contrary to some rumours, the D pad's paint hasn't peeled yet & shows no sign of doing that any time soon. The camera jutting out at the back cause me a little concern, but it seems to be shallow enough to not cause significant problems.

The features were fine & they are good enough to suit my needs. Just plenty of texting & fiddling around. The camera images are a little blurry, but that may just be me accidently moving the phone when taking photos. PhotoDJ proved to be a novelty for me, along with the camera modes: 'Panorama' & 'Burst.'

Like the general Sony Ericsson phone, the phone was very user friendly. The screens were easy to navigate & the response when moving between screens was fast, no problems. It's quite easy to find your way around, without having to use the manual, even to find little known sections.

It's a pretty hardy phone, as I've accidently flung it across the room onto a wooden floor & the phone came away without a single scratch or mark. I've dropped it other times as well, but a little polishing with a cloth returns it to its just like new condition.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. The hefty price tag may be a little deterring for other though. But really, it's a joy to use & in my opinion, it's an excellent phone, worth a serious consideration.

The comment about a small scratch looking like a big one is a myth! I have dropped mine & scratched it plenty of times & small scratches are barely noticeable. As for the screen its self repairing so small scratches disappear! Brilliant phone. The best I've ever had (although I suppose that's not hard as everyone buys a better phone than their previous one) Anyway, the design is great, looks really stylish & the stainless steel means the paint won't wear off like it did on my plasticy old Sony Ericsson.

The screen us exceptional, in intense sunlight outdoors it's still easily visible. I think something to do with the mineral glass puts a slight glaze on the screen so you don't tend to get true white it kind of has a sepia like tint though it's very faint. The screen quality is one of my favourite things about the phone, it's so much clearer & has more clarity than any other phone I've seen.

The camera is brilliant 3.2MP on a phone with autofocus & flash, works a treat.

The phone has some really nice touches like the lighting effects. The underwater theme is amazing. The colour of it changes depending on the time of day & movement of the theme is also shown through the lighting on the key pad. You get a really cool charger with it too.

Overall the phone is great as it's made from very durable materials & has excellent specs & some very nice touches.

Well to start with the phone the reason I got was because they let me exchange it with the O2 XDA without extra money. The t650i is a beautifully designed phone no doubt about that but no for what it retails at it's not worth it, it's a standard Ericsson phone with the option of the keypad to illuminate in a synchronous way. This is possible only by the factory themes of which only 4 are available, 3.2 MP cam does the job right when compared with the N73 the N73 has the edge the camera does not have a flash but it is a light. The ergonomics of the phone is just beautiful if you get a bargain on eBay or any sale or deals on this phone it is worth the price.

Sony Ericsson Walkman phones are getting worse & worse. Many features on the phone with anything you can ask for. Very happy with the phone & do not intend on changing in for a while. Only thing which could be improved is the camera as for an expensive latest phone 3.2 mega pixels is not a lot seeing as older phones have higher.

All round though wouldn't change it for any phones on the market at the minute.

Having been with Nokia since the stone age I decided a change was due & ended up with this t650i (sim free) & so far so so good. It's my first camera, MP3, radio phone & I have to say that I am enjoying the process of learning a new phone & the way it operates but of course I do have a few 'issues', as you might expect, coming from the fossilised brick that was my Nokia 6100 !
As a whole the camera is very good & easy to use but the zoom only applies after you have taken the shot which is a shame & as mentioned below, the bumph doesn't tell you this, you just find out, eventually! The video is not as good as the camera but then I am a novice at this so I am not too fussed about that side of things.

Yet, I can't comment on the music player because I can't seem to install the disc that came with the phone to transfer the tracks but then again I am not too bothered about this either because I mainly want the radio for work which I think is very good (sound/earphones excellent), so it kind of balances out for me on that scale.

The ease of texting is mainly what swung it for me eventually, I am an avid texter & most phones these days seem to require the user to have really, really small fingers or no need to text at all & despite the buttons looking quite vicious on the t650i they are in fact very easy to use with the minimum of muck ups when writing, so overall I am pleased. Frankly I am a fussy person (according to my missus! ) & this phone is working for me at least but my biggest problem is that the thing is so smooth its way too easy to slip through my fat digits & be dropped. Oh well, you can't have everything your own way. Though I do try. Overall a nice phone & I say get one. Nuff said.

I've had mine for about a month now. As a phone it's great, lightweight, slim, intuitive to use. The camera is not the best, my husband's K800i was much better & his new K850i is in a different league. On the T650i the camera zoom only works on the VGA setting (not that Sony tell you this in the manual or on the website, you have to pay 10p a minute on their technical helpline to find this out) &, as someone else has commented, the video quality is poor.

By far the best feature from my point of view is the way it synchronises with Microsoft Outlook. My phone is a work tool & being able to have my calendar, notes & tasks with me wherever I am is vital. The sync is very easy to set up & works brilliantly.

I like the music player, radio, etc. But for me these are just bonuses as they are not why I bought the phone & there are probably better ones on the market if these are the features that matter to you.

Overall very happy with the phone, not so happy with Sony Ericsson as a company (if you're going to charge for your helpline, then don't put people on hold! ).
