This compact & attractive mobile phone comes with user friendly features & will suit all mobile phone users who do not want anything too complicated from their new phone. The Sony Ericsson T270i is from the Sony Ericsson T range which includes the Sony Ericsson T250i, Sony Ericsson T650i & the Sony Ericsson T280i which are all middle to lower range of the market mobile phones which comes with easy to use call & messaging features. The T270i comes in an attractive casing which is available in two colour options which are copper on silver or silver on black coloured casing. The overall size of the Sony Ericsson T270i is small enough to carry, store & use easily. The phone weighs 82 grams including the fitted battery & measures 13mm deep x 45mm wide x 100mm high. The user can view all their menus, wallpapers & call information on the TFT screen which comes with 128 x 160 pixel screen resolution & displays up to 65k colours. Below the TFT screen is a sleek square shaped navigation key complete with embossed shortcut icons. The keypad is well spaced out for ease of use & is situated below the navigation key.

The user can access the FM radio feature from the menu system which comes complete with RDS which provides the user with on screen information which is provided by the radio station. The user can listen & read the on screen information at the same time. The mobile phone supports polyphonic & MP3 ringtones. The user can transfer their favourite ringtones in MP3 format & enjoy hearing their song each time the phone rings. The Sony Ericsson T270i comes with messaging services which include both text messaging & picture messaging services. The picture messaging service is known as MMS multimedia messaging service & allows the user to share images & pictures with other MMS compatible mobile phone users. The messaging service comes with a predictive text option which allows the user to write a text with fewer clicks as the phone will predict the word that the user is starting to write & completes the word for the user.

A built in WAP 2.0 Internet browser allows the user to access the Internet within a few clicks of a key to gain information & Internet services on their mobile phone. The user can play games on their Sony Ericsson T270i & download games to suit the users gaming taste. The user can switch a call to speaker phone to gain a handsfree call. The speaker phone feature is useful when the user still needs to talk to their contact but also needs theirs free to continue working.

The T270i comes with ten Mbytes of built in memory which provides the user with memory storage for contact numbers, messages & ringtones. The phones battery is a rechargeable battery which when fully charged can provide up to seven hours of talk time or up to three hundred hours of standby time. The Sony Ericsson T270i supports Bluetooth® technology which allows the user to connect their phone to other Bluetooth® devices using a wireless connection. The Bluetooth® connection will reach approximately ten metres in distance & is a simply way for the user to transfer data & synchronise data.
