I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone. It turns itself off all the time, it has low memory, it won't accept picture messages for some reason & it's recently stopped accepting incoming calls. My contracts due up in a month's time so I'll be able to upgrade fortunately. Until then I'll have to communicate with my nearest & dearest via pigeon carrier or two cups tied together with a piece of string!

Absolutely useless. It turns itself off every 2 minutes! It doesn't ring when people try to call you & it doesn't receive voicemails or texts the majority of the time! What use is that as a phone?

Worst phone I have EVER had, id strongly recommend nobody to buy as it seems the turning off factor is a very common one! I am taking mine back to complain, not even had it for a year yet!

Pros.
- Had it for a year & any issues with the phone have been insignificant. It's crashed about twice in my recollection in the past 6 months.
- Good size.
- Reasonable battery life.
- Pop email works a charm.
- Easy to hack, Flash it to W660 & it becomes a truly awesome phone :D.

Cons.
- Keypad is fiddly.
- I never used iMode so I had to flash it to install java apps.
- Camera is a waste of time, no flash & no autofocus, means camera might as well be VGA.

I'd recommend this phone on the basis that it lasted for a year in my jeans pocket with keys, getting dropped the odd time on dirty club floors & does everything I could have asked of it. With so many phones crashing all the time & having temperamental issues, it's a pleasure this worked for so long glitch free. Now that it's running Walkman 2 I am having difficulty finding a decent upgrade.

Bought this phone a week ago. It functions without any problems so far. For its price this phone is great! Its design is superior, the camera is good enough, & so the audio quality. (OK if you want to take high quality photos, go buy a digital camera, it is not worth to spend all your money on a mobile phone only to take high-quality photos!) The I-mode feature can help a little with the disability to add games from the computer to the phone.

9 to 10 from me!

Everything is great, the phone, software, buttons. Until, it broke down for no reason. I had this phone for 5 months & then problems start arising, first it won't turn on, battery failed to charge & now it refuses to be switched on. One piece of advice, Do Not Buy Anything from Sony Ericsson. Stick with Nokia! Worst phone of this life time.

It is a great phone, sure, but what really annoys me is that you can't install normal java games. Apparently this phone is using some DoComo Java system or something, which cannot support normal java games (.jar) I love Ireland! But, I am stuck in Singapore. Zut.

Got this phone this morning. Still trying to work it out as I have had Nokia's for the last 5 years. Nokia seems to have gone large & although this phone has been out for some time (standard K610, red version), it still kicks the bottom off any phone out there. Longer battery, lighter & smaller, so much so, you will be surprised.

Just FYI for everyone who wants to know. (O2 UK Employee...) K610im will be released both online & in store from 25th September. Very big fan of this handset. I too have been waiting for an imode handset that doesn't look like it was designed in a hurry...

Love this phone to pieces & want it on looks alone. Haven't seen it in the flesh but wow what a great spec & the sleek black design is what drew my attention to it in the first place. Small 3G phone with iMode is what I have been waiting for, thank you so much Sony Ericsson, I knew you wouldn't let me down on the design front. My only question is when when when???
