I have had this phone for 2 years, A MAJOR MAJOR problem is the phone keeps on turning off, which is really annoying! I fixed this by putting a small piece of paper on the side of the battery (although the back cover keeps on coming off now). But other than that it is good (but flash would have been nice though).

I've had this phone for over 2 years now. Overall it has been great to me.

Pros.Great design, easy to text on & clear for phone calls. You can expand the memory for any pictures etc you want to put on it with a Memory Stick (M2) & a 64MB one comes provided. There's no joystick to break. Camera is good quality (however, see cons). Battery life is very good. Probably average about 4-5 days (even now! ) before needing to charge. 3G is a nice little feature.

Cons. No WiFi (then again, it's quite a cheap phone). Plastic coating has worn down after being in pocket. This happened after a few months. Perhaps the most annoying thing is that there is no flash for the camera! Finally, I also have the problem with my phone turning off. I wedged a piece of folded paper at the bottom of the battery to hold it in place better. Might try the double sided sticky tape option suggested below because the folded paper is only about 75% successful.

Brilliant phone overall, has served me well & have turned down many offers of a new phone because I really do love it.

This phone is the best phone I have ever had I have previously just had the N93 but it was too bulky & kept slipping out of my pocket as result it broke & would not charge as I tried to fix it I broke it more & then threw it in the bin. But then my mother bought me the K610i for Christmas & I have to say it's very fashionable & the functions work very well only thing is that it does not support files such as sis it mostly supports java but still it's a great phone. I thank my mum for buying it.

I think this is alright but the bad things about it is that it can sometimes blank out on you but one of the good things about it is that if you drop it, it won't break, I've dropped it so many times but it is still fine I have had it for a year & it hasn't broken down on me so I would recommend it.

I've had mine for almost two years, still love it. The PROBLEM OF the PHONE SWITCHING ITSELF OFF IS EASY TO SOLVE. It is either the contacts of the SIM card not pushing against the card well enough, or the battery contacts doing the same. So, two things to do firstly stick two layers of tape on the back of the card & put it back in, & secondly put two layers of tape on the bottom of the battery & put it back in.

My phone used to switch of several times a day before I did this, a year ago. It never switched off since. Have fun!

Oh, by the way the Bluetooth is poor, basic earpiece connection is fine, but connection to my computer or navigation device frequently breaks, sometimes the phone even crashes (hangs, doesn't shut down).

I am fed up now, keeps turning itself off. At least 4 times a day for the last year. Have on an 18 month contract, have downloaded the recommended software update, did not work. Told it would cost me money to repair but I do not see why when so many others have had the same problem. The problem lies with Sony & I will not be buying one of their phones again. I need this phone for an emergency contact & when you pick up to find it is off it's very worrying.

Had this phone for about a year it's been a decent wee the phone but it keeps turning off & I have had 2 change the facia 3 times because I text a lot & the buttons just kept falling out. I would recommend it to someone for occasional use nor a hardcore texter like me, the buttons are very small as well the camera isn't too bad & flash would have been nice as well, only 6 months with it.

I have had this phone for 18 months now, & I am now upgrading to the k770i. Overall I thought this phone was really good! I got it as a present from my boyfriend as my old phone was really rubbish, & I have never wanted to change it since, & I wasn't going to until I saw what I could upgrade it to!

I think the camera quality is excellent, obviously it is not as clear as other recent camera phones, but, it does the job which is all I wanted. Some people love to have memory cards that hold endless amount of songs, but the memory card that came with it only holds about 10 to 12, but I am fine with this as again, it does the job. I have dropped this phone many times, & never has it cracked or smashed.

However, I was surprised to hear that the majority of the other reviews here have experienced the shutting down issue. A few months back it would shut down completely by itself which was SO annoying! So I took it back to the shop & it got sent off & fixed, can't quite remember what was wrong with it now, but it is interesting to see that everyone else has had similar problems.

Overall this has been my favourite phone out of the many I have had & in my opinion it will be hard for other phones I get in the future to top it off.

Definitely recommend for anyone of any age!

Hi, I've had this phone over a year now & it's a decent bit of kit. I've read others have had problems with it switching off but this has never happened to me.

I found the call quality to be excellent, crystal clear even in noisy city centres.

I have dropped it a few times & no problems. The camera's good no flash though & you can record up to 3 minute videos with a 4x zoom, can't zoom with the stills though unless you reduce it from 2MP to 1 MP.

The 3G works well & I've even watched mobile tv on it, wrecks the battery though an hour & a half & that's it battery drained, oh well. Overall though battery is decent.

You can download 3D game's for it but the joystick isn't ideally suited for this but Ronnie O'sullivans snooker plays well! The MP3 player does its job fine & my model came with headphones & a memory card, watch you don't drop it though they're tiny!

Word of warning though to those with big hands texting can be a bit of a pain with the space key being on the bottom right which for me being right handed can lead to thumb cramp, but I am used to it now. It also has windows live messenger which is cool.

Overall it's a quality phone with some decent feature's got to love that facewarp & for the 99 Euro I paid for it IMO it's well worth it.

Same here. The phone is simple, handy & has all the basics I needed. After using it for one year, it started turning off itself. This is very annoying as you never know when it is off!

My gut feeling is because of the software as I recently updated the software (prompted by the software update reminder from Vodafone).

A bit disappointed as I have to look for another one & it seems there is no good choice.

Have had this phone for just over a year now. Loved it for ages. Great features. Compact. Really enjoyed it. Until it just started turning itself off. In my pocket , in the middle of calls. While I was charging it. I thought it might have been the battery, so I bought a new battery. But it's not any better. I can't seem to turn it on at all at the moment, so came here seeing if anyone had an answer. Spoke to my service provider & they said it is a software issue & I can go to a phone shop to get a fix for it that will cost $50 or so.

Bit of a pain as I have another 6 months until my contract is up & they give me a new phone. Anyway. Great phone, apart from this huge issue.

I've had this for a year now. There's nothing much I can complain about. Although tiny it's survived being dropped numerous times including from out of a third storey window, with only a few scratches. The cameras pretty high quality & I have been able to fit 10 songs on my phone plus 158 pictures without having to buy a memory card. Not sure if that's good or not. The only real problem I have had is its annoying habit of just turning off randomly & the fact it looks a tad square. But all in all a good, little phone.

This phone did not have the memory that I wanted, although it had a memory card I could only store about 2 songs. Although this was bad worse was to come. The phone started to switch itself off especially during a phone call which was extremely annoying. There are also reception issues, despite the phone being on, often messages don't arrive for ages.

So if you're thinking of owning one of these think again, unless you want to buy mine on eBay.

This phone is decent with good battery life but expect to be one of the crowd, I have had this phone for a year now & it has had no problems that I may have been concerned of, there was only a minor problem when I dropped the phone one of the keys jutted out but that can be pushed back in easily.

However the phone has no particular special features but has the practical use of many phones on the market today with solid designs. Would recommend this phone to people who need the basics & durability but for those people who want the classy features to please this phone wasn't made for you.

I have had my k610i for about 4 months now. The phone has been great until about a month ago. For the last month mates have been complaining they can't get hold of me because I constantly have no coverage. To get reception on my phone I have to keep turning it off then back on about 3-4 times a day to make sure I am still getting reception. Because of getting no reception constantly some messages I receive don't get to me until the next day.

The K610i is a great phone & has some great features, but I have heard the 3G coverage on this phone isn't too good, maybe Sony Ericsson should of left 3G out of this phone as this phone has had many problems with the reception.

I got this phone with a contract, which allowed me to make lots of phone calls. My contract had video minutes, which was cool as my phone has video calling.

The features are not what a normal phone would have like example.
- 2 megapixel camera.
- Video calling.
- 3G.
- Bluetooth.
- & many more.

I had four choices of phones to pick for to go with my contract. Out of all, even though some looked better, I had to pick this one, because the looks & the features made you pick no other options than this phone. So basically if you're looking for a phone which has a loads of everything you need well then pick the K610i.

This is a very good phone, I have it in black & had it for a year & nothing has gone wrong with it so far. Even when I dropped it a button just slanted but was easily fixed by just pushing it back. It's a very solid phone.

Pros, solid design, light, small, fits in your hand nicely, memory card, good MP3 player, very fast, good battery life.

Cons, poor camera quality in dark areas, no infra-red, no radio, poor Internet browser, could be thinner considering it measures 17mm in thickness (which is my biggest problem because it is quite bulky).

Overall if you are looking for a phone that will last a decent time, won't break as easily & have listen to MP3's (even though I am aware it isn't a Walkman phone) this is probably what I recommend but if it is for web, radio, sleek design or camera I suggest you stay away from this phone!

This phone shuts down constantly, not even when I am running lots of applications, it loses the memory stick almost every time I try to access files (It does not find it even though I can see it in the memory card slot), it feels plasticy & the buttons are hard to press. No flash on the camera, or zoom at 2MP unless I make it a tiny picture. It has no radio either, the Internet button costs me a lot, as it logs me on to the Internet in my pocket (& I press it while trying to press other buttons as it sticks out. There are a few good features however like application backronds & 3G.

It seems this phone is having huge problems with 3G, thanks for the hint to disable it.

I was having very poor coverage, constant sound problems during calls & people reported that I was out of coverage when they tried to call me.

I have to test it some more, but so far it seems that simply disabling 3G has taken coverage problems away. Coupled with promised increase in battery life, forget 3G.

I was given this as a company phone & for that kind of use its very good, its compact & light although it does feel plasticy but the very long battery life is exactly what I needed in the day to day business usage (needs one charge every 4-5 days of medium usage). The camera & screen are rather low quality but that's not something I require for my current usage. The 3G video call has not been tried yet but let's be honest how many of us use that anyway! So all in all is a good choice for a low budget phone which is indented to be use as a phone & not as a camera, MP3 etc. (no hands-free was offered in the packet Vodafone send me so if you want to use it for MP3 reproduction you need to get one yourself & additionally there's no repeat single track option on the player).

I am really pleased with this phone. I did have a couple of what Orange told me were faulty handsets, but when I have had the same problem over & over again, I rang up Orange today who told me that the reason my phone keeps crashing, & freezing (like some of the reviews below said about) is simply due to the fact that it's on the 3G network. If you don't use the 3G network then turn it off! 3G is only needed for video calling, which I don't even know how to use, so I don't use it!

But this phone comes with it pre-set, assuming everyone will want to use the video calling function. Having it switched off, actually saves a lot of battery life, & it stops the phone from crashing. It has also made my phone a lot quicker at doing anything! It's an amazing phone!

Not a bad phone, Have had it 9 months now. Works OK normally but screen often cuts off when you are writing a text or looking round the menu's, that has become very annoying. Turns itself off a lot because of bad battery fitting, have to have paper wedged in. Not texter friendly due to small buttons but you do get used to them, it is a good phone, the design is good, camera is good (not in the dark though) & sound is very good. Battery cover slides off easily though. I wouldn't recommend buying this phone because of the power problem, I think Sony Ericsson need to sort that out as it happens on a number of phones.

Unfortunately suppliers, Virgin Mobile have just agreed to replace it.

Strangely enough, I bought it as the wonderful new model mid April 2007 now in September 2007 Virgin Mobile no longer stocks it, perhaps because it's a duff model? Maybe the replacement will last more than 12 months? My last 2 phones were Sony Ericsson & both failed with their joysticks one within 13 months the other within 14 months. I bought this one as I was happy with Sony Ericsson other than their joysticks & this one has no joystick but has 5 cursor buttons.

Great little MP3 player if you buy the adapter for using your own headphones. Camera quite good but has no light for taking pictures indoors or at night, I miss that from my last (K750i I think it was? ).

It's a pretty good phone, but the exact same thing happened to me as the first reviewer said- the screen went white & wouldn't turn on again. I am still waiting on the feedback & knowing companies these days I'll probably have to pay for it, even though it's only 3 months old.

Other than that, it's been good. However, I am a bit iffy to recommend it to anyone if it only lasted me 3 months. But fingers crossed hopefully it comes back from repair fine! The first trouble I have ever had with Sony Ericsson's, they're usually very reliable.

Lots of great features, BUT TERRIBLE QUALITY!

I've had two now. On the first one, after about 3 months the screen went white, the phone turned off & never worked again. Sony Ericsson wouldn't honour the warranty (the fine print mentions that the warranty 'doesn't cover any fault of the product'!).

Because I like the features of this phone I was stupid enough to get another one the same, & even went to the trouble of keeping it in a bomb proof pelican case. The case is great, but the phone still only lasted a few months. Now the speaker doesn't work, so it's back to the repairer to see how I go with their sad excuse for a warranty.

So if you want a great little jukebox / camera / phonebook / computer & are not concerned about something that you can turn on & use for conversations, get a Sony Ericsson K610i!

I upgraded to a 1GB M2 & also own the new Sony Ericsson Bluetooth stereo headset. The music player is fine but is not a fully fledged Walkman. Although not a Smartphone per Sony Ericsson, it can multi-task very well. I have resolved the switching off problem which was happening 3-4 times a day. Ensure battery terminals are clean & put a bit of card or folded up paper in the gap at the bottom end of the battery (opposite ends to the terminals) & replace the cover. This forces the battery into more reliable contact with the terminals. It has been running no probs for 5 days since I did this.

I am currently on an 18 month contract with 3. I got a V3x with the contract & had to exchange it 3 times because the glass was coming away from the phones external screen-then the daft thing kept crashing whenever I closed the fold. A truly awful piece of rubbish. Then I bought a k608i on pay & go & stuck my sim in it-that's lasted 6 months & the direction knob' mucked up. Recently bought this model & put my sim in it. The point? Is it my poor luck with phones, or is the technology simply flawed?

I've read mixed reviews on a few sites about this phone but still decided to try it. It IS a good looking phone with much improved keypad quality-& no joystick! Hoorah! It got all the features you'd need in an everyday phone. Battery life is bad, but that comes with the territory. BUT! It HAS switched itself off-twice so far. You can tally this by setting the 'up' buttons shortcut to your camera or something-whenever the phone switches off & reboots, the shortcut is removed. I am hoping this doesn't become a regular occurrence. Only got seven months of the contract left-if this phone mucks up I am going back to O2.

Best of luck with this phone if you buy it.

I was offered this as a replacement for the k800i & its nothing in comparison. Flash & camera are second rate along with audio playback. DO NOT buy or inherit this phone if you have a choice.

P.s I have usability at 5% but I can't actually use it haha!

Well I was either going to choose this phone or the LG U400 & I chose the LG U400 because I think Sony is starting to loose their touch on the phone looks boring & old & doesn't excite me with its style at all, also the colours available on 3 wasn't very good & I think that song would have been better developing the k750i look with the nice camera design. But the features on this phone is pretty good cuss my friend has it & I think the main important Sony needs to work on now is new styles like the Sony Ericsson z610 its a good looking phone on pictures but when you go to c it I was really disappointed because of hw big it was & also the lack of new style in it but that's another review LOL so I'll leave it here.

Don't know because I haven't got it yet, many mixed reviews. I found people guessing what its like before they even have it. I am upgrading from a Nokia n80, worst phone I have ever had. I hoped for the k800i, but been advised this. Truly hope I am not disappointed, as I often am with new phones. Shall give an update once I have had a play with it.

This phone is excellent. It is the smallest G3 phone around. Compared to the Nokia I had it is ace. Easy to use & takes being dropped a few times. All the tech stuff works great! No software problems or hardware issues

Only downsides, the Camera is good outside -no flash for inside. Can not charge & use handfree that comes with phone - Same socket.

The best G3 phone I have ever had!

Had this for 2 weeks after renewing contract directly with 3. Got fed up with all the cash back sending coupons back business & after threatening to leave a few times they managed to give me some deal which works out effectively at £12 per month for 500 mins & 100 text per month.

Wow. After having an ugly brick (my phone that is) the Motorola v975 this was amazing. Very light. Camera is OK in day light. Ability to put tunes on. Cheapish memory card.

It hasn't frozen yet like many of the user comments. Maybe anything is better than the Motorola but this phone is fantastic & looks great.

I love this phone. I have had it for 4 months now & I just absolutely love it. It is a very sturdy phone to. I dropped it on some hard cement & it hardly even left a scratch on the wonderful detail that Sony created the video phone is also an extremely nice feature if only it was more used here for the phone. Nobody has video phones here which is a pretty useless feature for now but in a few years it will be great. Another one of my favorite features is the MP3 player the only downside is that it doesn't have a headphone jack which really isn't expected for this class of phone.

Over all I would recommend this phone to anyone who is think of buying it. It has a bunch of features at a reasonable price.

I understand that all mobile phones are susceptible to have software bugs, but a phone that answers your calls for its own decision, it probably means a mis-configuration. Anyway, weighting only 89 g, you can play MP3, take great photos, browse the Internet & read e-mails, videocalls.

- As with all phones the silver paint/finish wears off too easily.
- The camera doesn't have a flash.
- You can't adjust the colours of text, etc. Without downloading new schemes.

But these are only minor things. I upgraded from the K750i a few months ago & I am very happy with my decision.

Answers the phone without prompting you to accept it, I.e., even in normal answering mode, it answers calls for you. It's quite frustrating to know that somebody you know called you, heard everything you said & you simply didn't know it until he tells you word by word what you said. It has already happened to me several times. I bought it to replace the K600i because it did exactly the same. It answers the phone even hanged in your belt.

Doesn't have infra-red & radio. Also emits an annoying sound like a deep beep to your Bluetooth device in the beginning & in the end of your calls.

I upgraded to this phone from a K750i & it is excellent! It's small, sleek & the fundamental design feature for me is the raised protection around the central navigation button. The absence of this on the K750i must have been a design flaw! The camera, again a 2 megapixel, takes incredibly good quality pictures. The screen display is incredibly clear. The menu structure is simple, clear & easily accessible. Historically, I've always had Nokia phones & was about to return to them, how glad I am that I chose this phone! LOL I can't believe some of the reviews here say this phone is bad looking & cheap. If anyone had any design sense they would know straight away this is by far one of the best looking phones on the market. Even still today. ESPECIALLY in WHITE. Hasn't anyone seen this colour yet!? A well designed phone is in its shape, curves aren't nice, apart from for the ladies usually, but this has sharp clean lines & a great simple feel, built to last too.

There's hardly much difference between this & the 570, except 3G & the obvious reasons, but again another solid phone, better than the plasticy feel of most phones available.

Stuff the red & boring black versions, go for white & stand out.

I first got this phone & was very excited about it, had heard so many good reports. It was a challenge to learn how to use it as I've always been a Nokia girl, so it took a while to learn what buttons did what, I found it quite confusing. But my major hang up with this phone, was that when in a conversation with someone, even with the phone on the loudest possible setting, I could not hear what the other person was saying when outside the quiet of my home. So any background noise like in a shopping centre made it virtually impossible to use. So I got rid of it & went back to my old Nokia. So much better!

It took a little getting used to after only ever using Nokia's but after a while it was fine. That's when everything turned pear shaped. Here's what went wrong. 1: The # key would constantly appear without me touching the phone. This made me very upset. 2: When on a call, often the person on the other end would hear a horrible beep. 3: When SMSing the space key would only work 50% of the time. 4: The screen would constantly freeze. 5: When hanging up the phone would try to connect to the Internet.

I have always had a Sony Ericsson phone for a few years now but last year made the mistake of switching to a Motorola. Now that my contract has finished I've just got a new K610i, & it's fantastic. If you want a phone with the best camera get a K800i. If you want a phone with the best music get a W810i. But if your not really gonna use all that (I have digital camera & ipod so I wont really use them) this is great. Its small light & looks really good. Although the buttons are close together there's no problems with pushing them together - I haven't made any mistakes yet. I have the phone on 3 & the call quality is excellent. Internet access is very very quick & it's got full access. Screen quality is amazing. Bluetooth supports all features & remote function to use with your PC for media player & PowerPoint. Glad to be back with Sony Ericsson, don't think I'll switch again. Have now have Nokia, Samsung & Motorola but have been disappointed with them all, I never am with a Sony Ericsson.

Upgrade from my T630 so obviously a big step up in technology. Originally ordered V630 but sent back because I did not like the design. Essentially the same phone although apparently the standby time is better on this model but does not come with free extra 256 Flash RAM - only 64 onboard but can be upgraded - don't let that put you off.

Not had much time to check it out but immediate reaction: Great screen. Very good sound quality. Nice size, feels good to hold in the hand. Fast & responsive menus.

Gripes:

Main gripe: I wish it was black, not mad about the silver, it feels a little bit cheap because of this colour & I think if it was a black case that problem would diminish. I've tried to find out if Vodafone are going to have the 610im on contract (same phone but in black) but they won't say? There's no reason for them to stock it as they don't offer the iMode service, but you never know.

Why do SONY do that - release such similar models so close together?

The keys are a little small/flat to use - hard to read when they are back-lit with blue against the silver.
Reception not perfect - but good eneough.
Camera. Good it's there but don't buy a phone for the camera buy a real camera.
Music - this does play music - but it's not a walkman phone. Again I would say this is a bit of a gimmick - better to buy an iPod or a mini-disc.

Overall a nicely designed phone from SONY E. but should be available in a different colour!

Hi people, got this phone & was not to hot about it at first, as I had a Samsung & it works fantastic with the pc & very easy & quick to transfer files no matter how big. So anyway got to use the phone & can not believe the picture quality of the photos, as some of the reviews say you cannot zoom in ,but take in to equation this is only in 2m pixies but once the picture has been taken, open it in landscape & you can zoom in to at least 32 times, fantastic.

Even better is the panorama setting which lets you take a photo 3 in 1 shot ,let me explain you take the first photo then on your second photo on your phone you can see the far right of your first photo ,so what you do is move the right side of your first photo into view of your second photo shot & when they line up take the photo & do the same for your third photo & you get a huge landscape photo with all the photos put together as one the best photos I have take on any phone. MY dad has a Sony phone with 3m px & I don't care I have fought with him I think my phone has far better quality maybe his is not working right but this 1 is the bees knees. This was my upgrade phone from a Sony Ericsson K750i which I had for over 1 year. Dare I say the K750i was boarding on the best mobile I'd ever had & I've had many a phone always craving the newest top phones switching between all the manufacturers but satisfaction was finally fulfilled with this hand set.

A good all rounder, reliable, cracking camera with flash creating quality pics every time. I finally felt at home & comfortable with the Sony Ericsson brand.

One year on & many new exciting models lunched unfortunately these models arrive later this year (W850i, W950i & others)

My contacts with O2 but I must say the choice of upgrades at this minute are limited. I opted for a K610i & had the handset for a few weeks but overall I feel a little disappointed. For me the move from a K750i to the K610i was not so much of an upgrade more so a face lift.

Don't get me wrong it still would be a classy phone for a new comer & perhaps my scoring is a little reflective of this.

I sent mine back today but again with the limited choice I will try the K800i but looking at some reviews with previous K750i owners I will be left feeling the same. Maybe its time for a complete change or maybe I'll hold out for the arrival of the W850i next month?

Ps The Face Warp found in applications is a hoot, endless hours of fun at home, in the local even taking pics of the family pet, it's disturbing I know. "Gobbler" & "Professor" need I say more!

- Good Camera but no flash as per K750i
- Video Footage but plenty of room for improvement in quality
- Easy to navigate Menu with all the usual expected functions on a mobile
- Good quality Screen Resolution
- Nice Size & Weight
- You'll have no problems with Keypad & Hot Keys
- Used phone extensively over month & didn't find any software or running problems! Looks to be reliable as K750i

I have had this phone a few days & think it's great. It looks good, it feels good & it's quite simple to use. I've had Samsung's before this but I wanted a change & although it's different it's just as good in different ways.

The computer package was hard to use initially as it couldn't 'see' my phone but once I got that sorted it was good.

When on the phone sound quality it excellent, however the mp3 quality is not quite as good.

I agree with the other users about the camera, good but annoying that the flash & zoom can only be used with a frame, & it doesn't make sense as to why!

Overall if you want a phone which is a phone, not a music player or camera this is great & the camera & music player are good for a phone, but if you're looking for a 3-in-1 you'll be disappointed.

I'm looking forward to buy this phone, so this is not a rev. I'm really very much interested in this phone, but few things are really bothering me, like it has 2.5x of Digital zoom, however other phones of this range got 4x zoom. So, is it that noticeable? And it has TFD display, instead of regular TFT display, I have gone around some site to find the diff, I came to know that frame refresh rate is faster in TFT display...

So guys, tell me are u facing any problem bcuz of above mentioned shortcomings....

TIA Prady

Got this phone the day before yesterday, as with all (most) Sony Ericsson phone it is very easy to use with a nice colour pictured menu. I got it in the metallic red colour. Phone is unbelievably light & small for a 3g phone. The camera is pretty good although for some reason doesn't seem as good as other 2mega pixel cameras ive used on friends phones. I have upgraded from the nokia 6111 which is a beautiful phone but doesn't really do much. The only issue ive got with this (k610i) phone is that it feels quite cheap when you're holding it. It is a very standard looking Sony Ericsson phone except that it is red. It isn't the best looking phone available at the moment BUT if you want a 3g phone that's lightweight, small & nice to look at this is probably the best phone to get. It hasn't got as many features as other phones but size has to be considered.

Got this phone today, so far I am not impressed at all. Before this I had a Samsung which was so user friendly. I have heard good things about Sony Ericsson, however I have to say I will be swapping back to Samsung next time. The signal is rubbish & I always had a great signal with Samsung. I had my gripes about Samsung but those gripes are now gone after trying this phone. This phone is nice & slim & looks good but that's about it as far as I am concerned.

I had a K750i for nearly a year, which I lost, & I really wanted to replace it with another Sony Ericsson. However, I had to wait for a while, as my contract still had some time left on it, so I bought a Samsung D600 just to see how different Sony Ericsson phones were to these.

Then my K610i turned up. The D600 now sits in a drawer, doing nothing. This phone is brilliant.

I don't like the design overmuch, but Sony Ericsson have fixed the problems that really annoyed me when I had a K750i- for example, no more joystick. Smart move. My K750i one broke in a few months. And I can take the battery cover off on this one, too. The interface is beautiful to use, & the ergonomics are fabulous.

A truly class act. But don't get it in red. ;)

Have just got the phone & think that is very understated. Everything works smoothly & it looks the business. Downside being that the photo flash from previous models has been replaced by night mode, & you can't use the zoom in normal photo mode! It's says zoom not available in this mode but if you put a silly frame around it the zoom works really well so explain that one!

Overall it's a phone with everything you could want & if you're really that bothered by the photos go & buy your self a camera!

This is a very attractive mobile & by having 3G it will be a total winner. I want it in the silver as it looks more masculine in silver. The casing looks like it wont scratch easy which will be great to know. I tend to scratch up all my new phones & it drives me crazy. This phone has it all a 2 mega megapixel camera with a zoom & a media player for playing my music & playing the videos. I cant wait to get this phone & I know my mate Andy will be into it.

Excellent third generation mobile phone by Sony Ericsson with Bluetooth, Access Netfront & HSCSD high speed data. What more can I ask for in a mobile phone. This phone is well equipped with all the latest & fastest technology, so therefore it should provide the very best quality performance. It has a tri band network which is a must for me as I am always on the move. Pleased it has a memory stick option as I hate not having enough memory on a phone. The battery performance sounds really good too. Best phone I have seen for a while & will have it regardless of the price.

Loving the sexy red version of this mobile phone. Wow. It is a fabulous looking phone & so sexy, hot, shiny in the red coloured cover & I am overwhelmed by all the built in features. This phone is the one for me & I know it is going to have a high price tag as it will be new out when I get it but I don't care. It is so fabulous looking. A 3G phone with Bluetooth is gonna be worth every penny. I know I will use the camera, video & media player all the time. I haven't used a 2 megapixel camera before & it will knock spots off my current phone with a VGA camera. Love the SE phones & love the layout of the keys on this phone. I am very excited about this phone & truly can't wait. 100 percent for design. 100 percent for features & 100 percent for usability as I don't know yet.
