Toggle button on mine packed in, as most do.

I am an Engineer & opened the phone, squirted some contact cleaner into the switch/button & it worked again for about 3 weeks then started acting up again.

I would NOT buy this phone (or ANY Sony phone with a toggle button!).

This little phone is basic but great! I love it especially the conversation recording capability. However, the flaw with the phone is that for me after 4 months of use, the joystick does not work anymore therefore incapacitating the phone. As you would expect, the joystick is a busy stick & we would expect it to be made very sturdy. Any thoughts on how I can get my joystick to work, or can anyone recommend another phone with similar features like the J300i?

Like the simplicity of this phone. I have not got this phone but would like it in the bright plucky pink colour. My favourite colour is pink but not the baby pinks more of a shocking pink girl myself. The phone doesn't have a camera but to be fair I don't use the camera I have on my current phone so it is a waste of time having a camera. I need my next phone to send the odd text or MMS message & need it to be a reliable phone for making & receiving calls. Simple needs for a simple girl & the J300i sounds like it would do the trick. I will get it & return with a full review.
