Sony Ericsson J210i Review

The Sony Ericsson J210i is a very simple & slim phone which has a very pretty design. The J210i comes in a mineral silver & a floral green coloured casing. The J210i is designed to suit the lower end of the mobile phone market & the price of the phone is very attractive. The J210i comes from the Sony Ericsson J range of phones & the family members have the same clear & easy to use key pad layout. The Sony Ericsson J220i is a slightly larger model & only has a dual band network whereas the J210i has a tri band network but the phones are very similar looking. The Sony Ericsson J300i is the totally style conscious member of the J range family with all its flash covers, music player, video recorder & a very curvaceous casing, but still the general layout is the same as the J210i.

The J210i comes with 32 voice polyphonic ringtones which provides the user with very clear sounding ringtones. The phone comes with pre loaded ringtones which allows the user to select a tone to suit their mood. The J210i comes with embedded games which include the black deal game & many more for the user to choice from.

MMS allows the user to create & send a message complete with text input, sound & pictures. MMS messages can be sent & received to any MMS compatible device including personal computers & PDAs.

The clear 65k colour STN screen (128 x 128 pixels) is perfect for displaying the built in gallery of colour pictures that has been pre loaded onto the J210i. The great quality colour pictures can be used as a wallpaper or a screensaver & the user can really give their phone a totally personal look.

The user can gain access to the Internet using the WAP browser & GPRS ensures that the user get access with the speed they require to make sure it a pleasurable mobile Internet experience. The phone comes with tri band technology so that the user can travel with ease knowing that their phone will function effectively in different countries.

The J210i comes with all the organising features that the user will require & the user will be reminded of all special dates that they store in their events calendar feature. The phone comes complete with an alarm clock, calculator, conference calls, phone book, tasks, timer & stopwatch so there really is no excuse for the user being unorganised as the J210i has the perfect organisation tools ready & waiting.

I love this phone, I know some people will find this very strange to understand but for all you out there who want a phone for taking calls, making calls & possibly send a text message then you really would appreciate this phone. It is so easy to use & the overall look & feel of the phone is extremely compact & super slim compared to my last phone. This phone is a winner in my eyes & Sony Ericsson are starting to think of the end user e.g. back to basics works for some of us.

Was in a hurry to get 2 phones for my girls as they have started going out after school & at weekends. I am a nervous wreck when they go out so I decided to get them a phone each. They had no choice in what I got them, I know they would of picked an over priced phone to show off with at school. Anyway I chose the Ericsson J210i was new as it is a nice looking phone & has all the needed features. The girls were shocked that I gave them a phone each for no reason what so ever & they were both very pleased with my choice. The girls love their phones & I love knowing they have these phones with them at all times. Lovely phones.

Beautiful little phone, people may knock this as it is very basic but believe me it is a dream to use & comes highly recommended by me. I am not ashamed to have a phone that looks beautiful & I know how to operate it.

Got it but gave it to my mate as it was just a bit too basic for my needs, nice & neat little phone but I do want a phone with a few more features, just found it a bit, dare I say it girly basic.

I have had this phone for over a month now & I am over the moon with it. I got the pale green J210i & it is not lovely to look at but it works like a dream. It was very cheap considering it was only out the end of last year, I think. I have had some comments about it being a bog standard phone but I am really not impressed by added features that I'm not going to use. The size & weight is great & it is a very hard wearing little phone & can really take a few drops out of my bag & still be turned on & ready to work. The battery life is outstanding & it surprises me that I am only charging it every other or even every third day. The screen is very clear with 65k colour & the size is right for viewing my messages & picture phone book. I love the little fun extras on this phone like the picture phonebook, fun wallpapers & the stop clock has been used very much for timing my children swimming. I use the messaging services very much & could not live without the MMS messaging, me & friend have much fun during the day messaging each other. The MMS was very easy to set up on this phone compared to my last phone which it never actually got set up on in the end, just too much hassle. The alarm clock is a life saver as the children have started sleeping in at the weekend but the phone has not let me down. I had a conference call with two of my friends which was quite amusing, the call was easy to set up but we had a giggle talking over each other most of the time, a good extra feature to have & I will be using it more in the future. I am very happy with my little green gem J210i & wouldn't change it for any of the top phones out there.
