I have had this phone for 5 months now & I have had no problems with it, I got it on O2 & the network coverage is great.
It is very easy to use & I have always had Sony mobile phones.
The camera is brilliant & it took mint photos when I tested it out at south lakes zoo 2 months ago.
The screen is bright, I can get loads of downloadable themes, games & apps.
The features on this phone are good, & my battery life is spot on, I get 2 days without charging it.
I would recommend this phone to anyone.

I have had this phone for about a year now & I get a new one in January. The keys are easy to use for me because I only have small hands but I can see why other people might not be able to use it very well.
I take lots of pictures with my phone so I have to use 1MP camera so I can fit them all in as 5MP are very large files.
It does have a bad battery life but I do go on MSN on it a lot so that might be why.
The camera is good but when I use flash it flashes really quickly so when the picture is taken it is very dark & you can't see a thing.
It does turn off quite a lot, especially after I have just sent a text, which then stays in my outbox. The camera button down the side lights up blue & my phone vibrates for a second.
On the home screen on my phone when I click the left button it goes on to launcher but I don't have Internet access on my phone because its not free & I can't change the button & it's annoying because I keep going on it by mistake.
Overall this phone is quite good I would recommend it if you have small hands because you may not find it very easy to use if you don't.

I liked the design with the slide out camera & touch screen camera controls. However, the shutter lag is significant & taking a picture of anything that might move is just hopeless. The picture quality really isn't all that good either dull, flat & lifeless. I have a five year old 5 mgp Nikon Coolpix camera (which was never the greatest) & the photos on this are far, far better than the Cybershot Sony.
Tried the keypad on the display models in store & thought I could live with it. However, real life usage was just a pain. Small, hard buttons positioned at an unhelpful angle.
Battery life just hopeless. One of the main reasons I bought this was because of the excellent performance quoted. However, actual use is nowhere near the standby or talk time figures provided by Sony.
Finally, after a couple of months use, it started losing the signal mid conversation. After a couple of minutes, a strong signal would reappear on screen. Eventually, the signal disappeared as soon as I took a call. Orange advised that this was a known problem & replaced the handset (with a scratched refurbished as it turns out, which they refused to replace).

Very poor effort from Sony. I have been a long time user of Sony phones & upgraded to this from a W850i. I would consider downgrading it's that bad!
The GUI hasn't had a significant upgrade since the K750i & despite an increase in screen resolution is starting to look VERY tired. Although the addition of the rotating menu looks quite cool.
Making calls on the phone is painful as signal strength drops in & out like the wind so you're often left standing there talking to yourself.
Also sending a text message seems problematic as the phone will freeze in the middle of writing one & then shut down for no reason whatsoever.
Also, there is no Wi-Fi on this phone like many of its peers, the onboard memory is limited to 128MB & the M2 memory card now requires the user to remove the back panel to insert. Sorry but what was wrong with the bespoke memory stick socket like on the W800i?
Although the camera is very good for a mobile phone, it has problems under poor light even though it is provided with a flash.
Overall, I think this will be my last Sony for a while.

I have owned every brand of mobile phone on the South African market. This phone has the worst keypad I have ever known, the keys are terrible. The Internet browser is horrible & the battery life is pathetic, absolutely pathetic! That keypad!

I've had this phone for about 2 months now & I am really liking it. It feels very thin & comfy in your hands. I know some people have been complaining about issues to do with the keys but I don't really have a problem with them. Yes the camera has a little bit of lag but I am really glad I chose this phone & I would recommend it.

Had this phone 6 weeks now, had no software issues or problems. The phone works great, easy logical menus & simple to use. Yes, you can pick holes in it, the keys could be a bit bigger & the camera has quite a long lag after pressing the shutter but overall the phone is excellent.

When I first had my C902, thought it looked great & at first behaved itself, then turning it self off & freezing, then had a problem with the keys on phone contacts always went to the second letter very annoying. I'm now on my third in 6 months had 4 K850i's be for. 7 phones in one 18 Month contract, tried moving to Nokia & had major problems transferring numbers, addresses etc. It seems to me that Sony E's software doesn't like anyone else's. There for has a hold on you to stay. Just can't see any thing at present worth while in the Sony stable.

I've recently upgraded from a k850i & found the c902 very similar. A bit thinner & lighter better quality camera options & clearer menu.
Bad points are that from the k850i it's lost the light option so you'll have to buy a torch.
Good phone go for it.

I think this phone is just awful. Turning it on & off takes forever & the keys for texting are the worst I have ever used. The keys are so hard to push down that you end up hitting wrong buttons. Twice my phone has been sent away for repair on the keys. I chose this phone after visiting the local O2 shop & trying out the display model & the buttons are completely different to use. The whole button pushes down on the display one. How can they display a phone that is different to what you actually get.

Nice looking phone but the buttons are difficult for texting unless you have tiny fingers that can cope with the silly angle of the buttons.
I am on my second phone as the first one lasted 2 weeks before crashing then refusing to restart. 8 months on, this one keeps on rebooting or switching itself off. I am using the latest firmware yet it still freezes up leaving me no option but to take the battery out to start again.
The battery life is disappointing as I am lucky to get 10 hours use before its flat. I would definitely not recommend this phone to others. A real let down.

What a hunk of junk this phone is. & before anyone argues, I DO have the latest version of the firmware. My wife & I bought this phone at the same time. We've had nothing but problems with this phone in the 4 months we've had it.
BUTTONS. Terrible, terrible buttons. They're at a strange angle so it makes texting really annoying. The call answer & call disconnect buttons for some bizarre reason are tiny & recessed into the body of the phone while other surrounding buttons are raised up.
GUI. This phone has the most horribly slow GUI there is, it's like 486 PC all over again. They've also changed the function of the soft keys around, & the back & cancel button isn't where it used to be or would make sense. You'll find yourself many a time frustrated with trying to make or answer a call, not to mention accidentally cancelling a ringing call.
CRASHING. Constantly turning itself off, disconnecting calls & takes forever to boot up.
SCREEN BRIGHTNESS. The screen for some reason is VERY dim even on maximum. My old K810i was brighter at MINIMUM. Screen is utterly useless in sunlight.
CAMERA: An awful camera with a useless flash. Don't even bother.
Other points.
- Sometimes won't charge.
- Pointless extra buttons that go directly to functions you never use.
- The media GUI is an exercise in slow frustration. Trying to view your pictures, movies, sounds? Use the file explorer (which is tucked away beneath a million menus).
- When you call people or they call you, it won't properly record their numbers.
- When using Bluetooth or wired headset, the phone WON'T lock! The slightest of nudge in your pocket & the call disconnects. I can't believe they made this elementary mistake
The people who say this phone are either lying, working for Sony or have JUST got their phone & haven't had time to become exposed to all its faults.

Where do I begin?
To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I have been loyal to Sony Ericsson for a number of years now & was very excited to upgrade to this phone, thinking the design & features it promised to deliver would be top of the range. How wrong could I be? Let's just say I hadn't fully prepared myself.
I've had the phone for about four & a half months now & the condition it's at is appalling. The buttons are too small & have become loose, some of the keys get jammed & it requires extra effort to press down hard on the buttons.
The phone has a life of its own, decides to switch on & off randomly & in between calls. The battery life is lower than expected & I consistently have signal problems.
Finally, one of the main reasons I upgraded to this phone is because of the attractive cybershot feature it boasts. Sony Ericsson clearly left out a vital piece of information when promoting this feature: that it is ONLY good when there is a substantial amount of lighting. Under evening conditions I have found the quality of the pictures to be extremely poor. So much so that I don't even bother with the media section in the mobile.
I am now having to buy a brand new phone (Nokia E71) to use until my next upgrade, which totally defeats the whole point of an upgrade!
In short, the Sony Ericsson c902 is a downgrade & very disappointing.

This is the worst phone I have ever bought. Bought in December 2008, worked for a while then it started playing up. It freezes & cannot be rebooted, even going to the website & trying to upgrade the software didn't help. When I checked about I found out that this was the same experience with others.
In my opinion this phone is not fit for purpose. I have used other Sony Ericsson phones in the past, with no problems, but my experience with this phone would make me hesitate to buy another Sony Ericsson phone in future.

This has got to be the best phone Sony Ericsson released last year. I've got it after my Sony Ericsson W760i let me down (don't ask). I went down to O2 in November & got the titanium due to it being limited. I had to wait 3 hours to start using it as I brought it during my break. When I got home I just took it out & started getting it ready (free M2 memory card). I turned it on & I got to admit it was brilliant. It so light that I felt impossible, how can a phone with so many features be so light & slim.
There are only two drawbacks to this phone & they are deleting, this is depending on where you are deleting from (file manager or media) & camera, the camera is brilliant in the sunlight but come night you got problems. It would have been brilliant if Sony Ericsson had given it a xenon flash.
Finally the design, it's wicked every angle you look at it from makes you want it more & more. Also I can't wait till the Sony Ericsson IDOU comes out. That the only phone that'll make me want to upgrade.

Terrible signal. My last Sony Ericsson phone had a brilliant signal which was why I stayed with Sony Ericsson & upgraded to this phone when I was due to upgrade. Wish I hadn't bothered. I can no longer get a signal at work. To make matters worse I am locked into a 2 year contract!
Camera is OK but not in mid to dark conditions Good quality of picture when cropping & zooming into a stored picture.
- the phone cannot keep up with me when I text!
- It takes ages to turn on.
- It freezes more times than the arctic.
- It takes ages to delete pictures you do not want.
Grrr, cannot believe I have locked myself into a two year contract for this awful phone. Worse still I recommended it to a friend. How bad do I feel now?
It also randomly vibrates even when you do not have a message!

This is a great looking stylish mobile. The camera is excellent, so is the video capture. Battery life is exceptional. My only negative comments, the keys feel small for texting & the case scratches very easily. A case is a must for this phone. I would recommend this phone.

I am very disappointed with this phone, I've actually reverted back to using my K800i, also Sony Ericsson, which I love. The C902i should be a great little phone, it's very compact & comes with some great features, particularly the camera. However, it regularly loses signal, cuts out intermittently during calls & turns itself off. This is very frustrating & I've had a few embarrassing conversations with various people where they could hear me but I couldn't hear them. I still have another 11 months to go on my contract & I am not a happy bunny!

Guys & girls! If your phone is freezing & rebooting, you need to update the firmware on your phone. Install the updates software off the CD that came with the phone. Follow the instructions. You will need to back up contacts, this can also be done via the Sony PC software.
It's a nice phone but perhaps Sony Ericsson set people's expectations of camera quality too high by calling it a Cybershot. The lens is way to small & as a result it's not on a par with my K800. That said it's good for such a slim phone.

I got this phone a few months ago, & entered an 18 month contract. I regret getting this phone a lot! I went for this phone because let's face it, it looks stylish! & I heard it was a reasonably good phone.
About 4 months after having this phone its shocking. The lights that light up when you open the camera are half lit up, occasionally flickering, the camera is so slow it takes a photo of something a few seconds later from when it appeared to have been taken, but the worst thing is when I put down my phone I just turns off! I know this probably isn't a manufacturing issue it was probably my treatment towards this phone, but still, I am nice to this phone! & it's got that bad?
Despite all those things. It has what seems to be an endless text message memory (I have at least 10, 000 messages stored & no your inbox is 95% full message yet.
Annoyed!

I would really like this phone if I could change two things with it.
- the camera is simply terrible, the picture quality on my friends 2MP Nokia is much better. Very disappointed!
- the single tends to be very poor, whilst I appreciate this is also down to the network service provider my previous phone was the Sony Ericsson K810I & I had never had any signal problems with that phone on the same network in the same area.

Seriously, Do NOT get this phone! I couldn't wait for this phone to come out so I could get an upgrade to a phone that everybody was raving about.
I wanted a decent camera (which it has although when the phone is frozen it's not much help), something that looks good & something I could rely on.
I had it for around a month when I noticed that it kept removing my wallpaper & replacing it with the default one. I could cope with this but when the phone keeps freezing it gets to be a bit of a pain.
It doesn't only freeze when you are trying to write a text but also when you are on the phone, trying to have a conversation. The only problem is, they can hear you but you can't hear them!
Another problem is that it switches itself off & takes ages to switch back on again, yet again removing personalised settings.
If I had the choice again I wouldn't have picked this phone but now I am stuck with it for another 12 months.

This C902 replaced my faulty K850i. Both rubbish phones (even with software updates) as this one also keeps turning off then turning back on again, does not ask for SIM & phone passwords. Freezes & screen goes white. Goes on mute when on conversation call. Does not keep up with texting & pauses. Camera OK in daylight outside, night time is rubbish, over exposure when manually lightening it. Only thing good about phone is slim design & hidden lens. Big thumbs down with this mobile, as I am on an 18 month contract I have just again within 12 weeks now opted for a good old Nokia.

Am I the only one to be utterly disappointed with how the photos turn out, (when uploaded to a PC)? This handset was an upgrade from a K800i & my older phone takes far superior photos.
The photos are blurred, colours all wrong, I've taken a photo of a blue pillowcase only for it to appear green, when seen on a PC! Shots taken in the dark, well, they just don't appear at all.
I had to upgrade the firmware after I first got it, & that sorted out problems with e.g. the alarms not properly reoccurring.
Using the OS is pretty good, the phone itself is very solid & it's nice to see camera lens protectors being the norm now.
If like me you choose a phone to text, call people & then take some shots I wouldn't bother with this handset. The camera just doesn't justify the price.

I have been a fan of Sony Ericsson phones for a very long time, my last 6 plus phones have been Sony Ericsson's but after purchasing this phone (& a brief experience with the c702 which is equally disappointing) I no longer hold Sony Ericsson phone in such high regard.
Good.
- Looks cool.
- Slim.
Bad.
- Interface is slower than older models (such as my old k 610i) probably due to unnecessarily fancy pictures at the expense of usability.
- MP3 & radio player is clunky due to reduced external buttons.
Really bad, the CAMERA!
- the camera is a shocker, it was the main reason I spent so much on this phone, for a cyber shot camera the picture quality in anything other than perfect lighting conditions is terrible.
- the flash is gutless & not much better than a much cheaper camera phone with light.
- There is no point in using the camera in anything more than 1MP mode for above quality issues.
- Camera interface is overly complicated with too many automatic & intelligent features that slow down use, Sony Ericsson should have just made the flash better, decreased the mp of the camera & thrown away the bloated camera software, a simple interface with the ability to have flash always on would have been far better.
If you never want to use the camera other than in full sunlight, probably a good phone, otherwise owning a C902 is like having a 1000hp car that needs to refuel every 1km, nice on paper but in reality very disappointing.

I bought this phone because of the reputation of the camera & I wanted to use it for a music player.
There is no standard jack socket for everyday headphones, you must to use the supplied headphones or buy an adaptor. The adaptor is way to chunky to be practical & even worse I found the playback very unreliable with glitches appearing in the sound every minute or two.
I tried emailing Sony for support but they just ignored the emails. Tried pretending I had a simple problem & hey presto they replied. Obviously it's a problem they know about. Maybe a future OS upgrade will solve the problem but as at the time of writing there is no solution available.
The build quality of this phone is excellent, possibly the best I've seen. The bad thing about this phone is that the media player is temperamental & it's should have a standard earphone jack.

Bought this a few weeks ago after my K800i went white screen on me. Having been really impressed with the K800i I thought I'd love the C902. Looks very good, feels very good quality, I found the buttons a little unusual to get started but overall fine to start with. After a few days I found the screen freezing, my alarm wasn't going off on a morning (& it wasn't charging at the time). When listening through headphones I couldn't use the volume or track change keys. Total disaster. I was just about to return it to Virgin when I read up on Sony Ericsson's site about uploading the latest software, took me about a half hour to download their package then plug in the phone & upload the firmware. Result. Everything now working exactly as it should, no freezing, alarms working fine, volume controls working when using headphones. My advice to anyone buying one then having problems is to upload the latest firmware & software via Sony's site. BE CAREFUL to remove your SIM card & memory stick from the phone before you do the update, it will remove most settings on your phone. It was a 5minute job to reinstall them when the update was finished. Great phone, nice camera, nice Walkman (sound quality has improved since firmware updated), menu options very tidy. Obviously this is something that Sony should be sorting before the phones go out but rather than keep sending it back & getting the same problems on your new phone, try the update! Best of luck to all users (my ratings are based on using it NOW, had it been after 1 week they would have been half that).

Accidentally destroying my new Samsung G600 turned out for the best, the Sony C902 beats it hands down, apart from a slightly smaller screen. The camera is superb for a 5MP phone camera (minimum shutter lag at maximum resolution), music player is great. The functionality of the phone is extensive, & support from the Sony Ericsson website is first rate. So easy to set up for web browsing & emails. Heavy texters with fat fingers may have a few problems though. Easy to update the software which appears to cure the glitches earlier versions seem to have. Battery life is OK, up to 3 or 4 days with moderate use. Whereas the Samsung G600 is a triumph for style over substance, the Sony C902 does everything you want a phone to do (& more) in a very accomplished way.

When I first had the phone it worked like a dream but after a week it would not charge so I had a replacement, the second one completely froze so had a replacement & then today the third one kept shutting off & the auto rotation refused to work & then it froze. I called Orange who confirmed it had the up-to-date software & would send me another tomorrow.
I asked about having a different phone but they would only do that if all the replacement phones I had, had the same fault.
I will not be going for Sony again! The design & the features on the phone are very good if I can keep it working long enough.

When I got this phone, I was trying to get a Samsung Tocco, but they were soon out at the time, so I opted for this one. I think the hidden camera idea is great, because I've had phone where the lens got slightly scratch.
I am very impressed with the battery life, seem to get about 3 days out of it before needing to charge it up again. As I am a driver I have to use it hands-free. I do have a Bluetooth headset, but I found the wired one that comes with the phone a lot clearer & everyone says they can here me better too.
In the month I've had this phone I've had no tech problems with it. It is a great phone & so is the camera.
The only complaint I have are the buttons. They sit at an angle & are very close together. That with having big thumbs doesn't help to much. I have dialled a couple of wrong numbers because of this.
Overall I am very happy with the phone. Loads of features & well built. Recommend it to anyone.

Like any other Sony Ericsson, the C902 is a great phone with a great camera & loads of fancy stuff included in it. Although, I have quite chubby fingers, & I find it very difficult to text on this phone as they're all close together & rubbery. Also, I don't like how you activate the camera by pulling the cover up, it seems a little taccy to me. I also think that for a phone with such a good camera, the screen should be a little bigger & the pictures don't come out as good as they do on a K850i.

I always wonder why people are buying a phone (at free will I suppose), & then complaining about its design. Moreover, there are a lot of reviews on the net & everybody can READ everything about the phone BEFORE buying. For me, the C902 is a very good phone, no freezing, never dropped a call (this is, near always, more a carrier's problem than the phone's), even camera is reasonable (what do you expect from a 3 x 3 mm CMOS sensor & plastic, 2 mm diameter optics, well, even Nokia N82 is only a PHONE with camera feature.

This device made by Sony Ericsson is called a mobile cellular telecommunications device & its main feature is the first & biggest downside of the product. Also, despite being branded a Cyber shot which sports a 5 megapixel camera, the camera & flash type is the second downside of the product. Thirdly, a mobile phone needs to be told what to do & you do this by pressing the keys in order to do fundamental tasks (I.e. Dial a number, watch a video, connect to the World Wide web etc).
The first problem is that (as a lot of people & friends of mine who have this phone) sometimes it hangs up calls without warning which is very disappointing & frustrating (I.e. You are about to ask your fiancé to marry you but you hang her up, thus raising the probability of her dumping you & then maybe making you plan to assassinate the designer of the phone's software).
Second problem is that the camera's sensor is very poor, still resulting in noised out pictures in dark areas even in sunlight, very disappointing. & the fact that the flash has again become an LED flash & you can't turn it on to brighten up the subject in low light is a big downside. The touch sensitive keys for the camera are fiddly & most people touch them by accident which changes the picture size, focus setting etc & make the photos a bit dodgy.
The third issue is that sometimes the software can be very slow, unresponsive & sometimes crash. If there is a mode software driver for this issue I do not know but one thing is for sure, I don't want my phone to keep freezing when I am about to do something vital.
Overall, don't buy this phone if you have no patience. I have a lot but it irritates me having this phone & changing it 3 times. Sony Ericsson's most disappointing device yet & the design is poor too.

I see a couple of people are complaining about the phone freezing I recommend that you use the software update or go on to the Sony website & download the update & update your phone.
I was having the same problem with my handset & was told to try to update the handset of which I did & now I do not have any problems.
Just one thing before you update your phone save all your numbers & media on your SIM card & memory card or you will lose everything.
Try it once you do that you will not have any problems with freezing I promise you.

At first I really loved this phone. I've upgraded from my K800i & loved that but it began to look at bit bulky.
The C902 is great to look at, it's slim & sleek & the camera is really good. BUT as a phone it's rubbish! The phone freezes in the middle of a conversation which is quite embarrassing in the middle of an important call although also quite annoying when friends & family think you're not listening when in fact you're just waiting for the phone to unfreeze so you have to ask them to repeat themselves & THIS HAPPENS EVERYTIME I USE the PHONE but only began after a month of having it.
The phone cuts out randomly even though the battery is full (but even that doesn't last very long) the alarm which I rely on does not always go off, I read another review & have found that this may be because it was charging. There should be a warning about that somewhere in the Manual! & I've found that when I press the on button, I have to go off & make a cup of tea because it takes nearly a minute to actually turn on & load up.
I also never seem to have any signal & we live in the same area with the same provider & have never had any signal problems before! My mum has this phone & has exactly the same problems.
I am a mum & I have three children two of which are in their early teens so I need a reliable phone, I now have to carry around my old K800i (which is quite knackered) charged up with me as I don't trust this phone. I am locked into an 18 month contract & will probably end up buying a basic phone before Christmas to keep me going for the next year! DO NOT BUY OR ACCEPT THIS AS AN UPGRADE! Unless all you want is a camera.

I got this phone yesterday. It has been an awesome experience so far. Updated the firmware to the latest release R3CA038 & no issues so far. The form factor rocks if you like slim & slender, for some it may even be too small but the phone feels really sturdy & well builds. Camera is on par with its cyber shot heritage minus the xenon flash but that may not be such a bad thing. Give issues from the past perhaps Sony Ericsson is learning from their previous mistakes & imperfections. I don't buy phones without doing a ton of research. I am an avid Nokia user & own N95, N82, N73 & I love the Smartphone combined with photo abilities. There is no comparison between the smart phone & cyber shot, Sony Ericsson is not meant to be that. It's meant to be a simple, easy to use, with tons of onboard storage picture & other goodies powerhouse. I happen to like the simplicity of this phone very much. The only down fall for me is a 2 inch screen which is a bit hard to get used to after surfing 2.6 & 2.4 inch screens. It's very crisp & easy to read so no major issues there. This unassuming phone packs in a decent amount of magic for those who are looking exactly for what this phone delivers.

I recently sold my C902i to fund the purchase of a Nokia 6220 classic. Big Mistake. The Nokia 6220 classic has gone back & I have purchased another C902i.
The C902i in my opinion is one of the best Sony Ericsson's I have had. Solid build, slim & reliable.
I notice a lot of people have software issues with the phone. This occurs when network operators mess things up by adding their version of the software. I always use 02 who have minimal branding. I would also suggest using the Sony Ericsson software updater to see if there are any new software versions available.

I have had many Sony phones & this isn't my favaourite. The alarm will not work when the phone is on charge so can't rely on it to wake me up! When I called Orange it is a known problem with the phone! The phone also freezes for no reason! The only good feature is the camera & that about it. Won't be keeping it too long, roll on my renewal date!

I've had this phone for just over a month now & am quite happy with it. It is slim & fits nicely into a pocket. I had the K800i before so am happy with the more slim line lens protector on the C902 is much better. The functions all work well, however I cannot tell the camera has an extra 1.8 MP over the K800i, the photos if anything on the K800i appeared a little sharper. The C902 supports high speed Internet & seems to be very good at web browsing & downloading without any problems.
The downsides I have found are the phone has frozen a couple of times & the battery had to be removed to reset it. The battery life with the 3G turned on seems a little poor, even when the phone only has light use it needs charging each dy. However turning on the GSM only in network settings greatly increases battery life.
I am disappointed with the standby mode, as someone else said on my old K800i, the standby screen was grey & showed the time & an envelope if a text had been received or a phone if a missed call had occurred. However the C902 does not do this which means you have to keep activating the screen to check for messages.
Apart from these small problems I am happy with the phone & will be keeping it. I was originally given a Nokia 6500 slide by T mobile but it was rubbish, worse battery life, frozen every hour or so, quiet calls. So I am glad I swapped it for the C902.

For a phone that is sold on its camera the photos it takes are over processed & photos not as good as the Samsung G600 or Nokia N95. However everything else is great, the battery life locked in GSM mode lasts me almost a week. The music player is the same one off the older Walkman range & its web browser is faultless. The buttons are a bit hard when the phone is new but get better as you use the phone, the phone feels very well made. Get a set of the Walkman branded earphones to replace the ones in the box & it's the only gadget you need to carry.

I've had my phone for 3 days now & I am a bit annoyed because I can't tell by looking at it if it's switched on. The screen goes blank & you can't tell if you've had any messages, my last phone W880i showed the time on the screen & also showed an envelope next to it if I had received a message, I have asked Sony Ericsson support & they told me that this feature is no longer available!
I can't keep the phone if I can't tell if I've had a message. Might get the N95 8GB, any views?

Very good phone overall. Camera is excellent, design is very good, looks sleek & functions are decent. Only problems I've had is that it has switched off a few times while playing solitaire & listening to the radio, & being a bloke with fat thumbs the texting can be a bit awkward at first.
Internet connection is quick & easy to navigate.
Definitely would recommend this phone. The touchpad selection for different camera modes is very good enabling you to instantly change settings for different environments etc.
I've had all different types of phones over the years & have to say this one along with my Samsung has been very good.

The phone is great good improvement on the design from K850i but still not that brilliant, the features are great & dial a phone are offering it for a great prices. Lacks the Wi-Fi, great browser & music player I think great phones but falls short to the likes of N82, N95 8GB. If you want a mix of great features, superb camera, great keypad then N95 8GB is for you.

Got this phone yesterday, can't fault it apart from screen could have been bigger. I would have preferred the K800i camera settings instead of loosing screen size for the touch sensitive ones but it is exactly the same size screen as k800i. Also can't comment on standby time yet, but up to now love it the menu system is very simple, the flash is nearly as good as K800i (very bright for led) Picture quality is great & auto rotation is quicker than Nokia N82. The addition of video light is great, video player is also a lot better than k800 at 30fps. Another added feature is the mega bass sounds great, K800 was very tinny. Rear cover can be tricky to get off if you can't use finger nails & the body is part alloy which I presume will dent easy if dropped (I recommend a wrist strap) I have viewed & tried so many different mobiles over the last 2 months & now I am pretty happy with this one.

What a phone! I've used Sony Ericsson's for the last few years & my K810i was a fantastic phone. I was put off upgrading to the 850i because of the sheer size of the phone & after trying to use the soft touch buttons on a friend's phone I gave up.
Then after having a Viewty for two days I gave up on touch screen phones! Lucky I did because I upgraded to the C902. I don't normally get excited about phones or do reviews, but this phone is a little gem. I take a lot of photos & I have not had any problems with the flash, focus, zoom or anything else on this phone. Not only does it pack a 5MP camera, but it's in such a slim phone & hidden behind a new funky slide. Even if this slide does collect some pocket dust when closed it's a worthwhile trick to have the lens protected.
I'd highly recommend this phone to people who already use Sony Ericsson's & want to step up, or for people bored with Nokia's & want a change.
If your on O2 they're also giving this phone away with a 4GB memory card, good times!

The camera is exceptional, if I had to say one slightly negative point, it would be that the slot that you lift up for the camera can be a little fiddly, just something that can break if handled too heavy handed.
Got a 4 gigabyte memory card with it also. I certainly recommend this phone!
