Well, what can we say! Sony Ericsson have really made the mark with their exiting range of Smartphone's in the quickly expanding XPERIA range. Since the release of the X1 & X2 several years ago Sony Ericsson have continued to expand the XPERIA family which currently offers a great selection of devices to choose from including the Arc, X8, X10, X10 Mini, X10 Mini Pro & with the fast approaching & much anticipated release of the Neo, Play & Pro, it looks like they are set to keep this trend going.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc

The XPERIA Arc is a beautifully formed Smartphone complete with its arc shaped casing which is easy to handle & its massive selection of features & capabilities aim to suit today's Smartphone user. It casing is super slim to hold which is only 8.7mm deep & it supports a stunning Sony Mobile BRAVIA Reality Display touch screen which measures 4.2 inches. There is so much to enjoy on this Smartphone as it comes with a built in HD video recorder with video stabiliser, music player, 8.1 megapixel rear facing camera lens with smart zoom, high quality motion & 3D gaming experience & a barcode scanner. The casing looks fashionable due to its stunning colour options & smooth finish. It is available in dark blue with white, pink with white, silver with white blend or in a fully white colour option. The X8 is a compact style Smartphone which measures 9.9cm by 5.4cm by 1.5cm so therefore has an extremely pocket friendly design. The Android operating system along with the Sony Ericsson Timescape™ interface allows the user to control their Smartphone features with ease. The XPERIA X8 is a 3G capable Smartphone which supports Wi-Fi® technology & assisted GPS navigation with Google Maps™ & Wisepilot™ navigation. The X10 was the first member of the XPERIA X10 range & was released early 2010. It is an incredibly popular Smartphone due to its wide range of features & capabilities & the user friendliness of the Android operating system with its Timescape™ user interface. Its casing measures 1.3cm by 6.3cm by 11.9cm providing a slim designed touch screen form casing which is available in either a white or black coloured casing, plus the user can control their touch screen by using a pointer or stylus if required. Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

The X10 Mini is a miniature sized member of the XPERIA range which measures 8.3cm by 5cm by 1.6cm & it only weighs 88 grams. This Smartphone maybe small in size but it's certainly doesn't lack any Smartphone features as it comes with Wi-Fi®, 3G HSDPA, HSUPA technology & a HTML Internet browser with a Google™ search & social network capabilities. There is a 2.55 inch touch screen displaying 16 million colours which is small in size due to the X10 Mini being a miniature sized Smartphone. The Android operating system is upgradeable & the Sony Ericsson Timescape™ interface is very use friendly. Imaging & sound features such as a 5 megapixel camera with video recording & a music player with touch screen music controls provide much fun on the X10 Mini.

The X10 Mini Pro is an X10 range Smartphone but with the added addition of a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It casing is slightly more bulky than the XPERIA X10 Mini as the Pro edition has the slide out keyboard form making it larger in depth. The XPERIA X1 was the first Smartphone in this popular range & was launched towards the end of 2008. It supports the Windows Mobile operating system with XPERIA™ Panels user interface & comes with a slide out QWERTY keyboard & a uniquely designed X layout for its control keys, plus the user can enjoy a three inch touch screen on the X1. There is a built in 3.2 megapixel camera with an automatic focus & video recording capabilities, a media player, radio with RDS, assisted GPS navigation along with technologies including Wi-Fi & 3G network coverage. It casing is not the slimmest design which measures 1.7cm deep by 5.3cm wide by 11cm high & it weighs 145 grams. This Smartphone set the presidents for this outstanding Smartphone range.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2

The X2 was released during early 2010 & unfortunately was not such a success initially due to network support issues in the UK, so therefore the handset was not officially released or available to the UK market. Although, this Smartphone supports an impressive specification list which include its subtle arc shaped touch screen form casing with slide out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 inch touch screen display, an 8.1 megapixel camera with touch focus, the Windows Mobile version 6.5 operating system with XPERIA™ Panels user interface, Web Browser with YouTube™ compatibility, plus Wi-Fi™ & 3G HSDPA technologies.
