The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness is a unique looking mobile phone with its transparent screen this phone will turn heads. The XPERIA Pureness is a member of the stylish Sony Ericsson XPERIA range which includes the popular Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 & of course the much talked about Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. Its main feature is it rather stunning transparent screen, which the user can actually see through whilst viewing their onscreen information. This screen is 1.8 Inches in size when measures diagonally & provides a monochrome display on its TFT transparent screen. The casing is black in colour which gives the casing a sleek look. Around the screen is a slightly reflective & see through plastic border which enhances the transparent screen feature perfectly.

The XPERIA Pureness is a truly gorgeous & futurist looking mobile phone complete with a chunky looking keypad section, complete with subtle grooves etched out which enhance the keypad & give this handset a futurist type design. The user can view all their information enjoy pictures on the transparent screen but the user can also see what is going on past their screen which is a totally new design for Sony Ericsson phone. This fashionable mobile phone is lightweight & is a compact bar shaped phone which measures 10.2cm tall by 4.3cm wide by 1.3cm deep & it only weighs seventy grams including its battery. Its navigation control & call keys are all square shaped & give this handset a futurist & slightly retro appearance.

Its 3G HSDPA technology provides turbo 3G speeds on the XPERIA Pureness allowing the user to download large data files quickly & easily. This high speed 3G HSDPA technology provides the user with a high speed Internet experience allowing the user to access their favourite web sites within seconds, & the user can enjoy RSS news feed on the XPERIA Pureness in an instant. It battery can provide up to eight & a half hours of GSM talk time or up to three & a half hours 3G talk time when the user has fully recharged their battery. When the handset is in standby mode the user can gain approximately three hundred & fifty hours of battery standby time from a fully charged battery.


The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness comes with eighty eight megabytes of internal phone memory as well as supporting two gigabytes of media storage memory. The user can connect their Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness to their computer, laptop, printer, headset & to other compatible mobile phone using either a USB cabled connection or a Bluetooth® wireless connection between devices. Its EDGE technology allows the user to experience fast rate data transfers speed when transferring data between the XPERIA Pureness & other devices. This phone works over 3G HSDPA 2100 network as well as GSM networks 850, 900, 1800, 1900 & will automatically switch between network bands.

This phone supports Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync™ which allows the user to enjoy automatic email set up & synchronisation. The user can create, send, store & manage their emails on the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness & enjoy an easy to use email service on their phone. There are a selection of messaging features available which allows the user to create & share a message to suit the user's needs, whether the user wishes to share a short text message with their contact or share a picture using the picture messaging service. The XPERIA Pureness comes with an instant messaging feature which allows the user to enjoy an online text chat with friends & family that are online. The transparent screen is fun when messaging & although this screen has a see through effect the user can still view & read their onscreen information with ease. An integrated Access NetFront™ Internet browser allows the user to surf the Web on their new stylish mobile phone & enjoy accessing their favourite Web sites easily.

When it comes to entertainment the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Pureness does not hold back as it comes complete with an integrated media player which supports high quality music playback & the user can view video clips on their phone. Its integrated media player supports music playback in popular formats including MP3 sound & the XPERIA Pureness supports a wide selection of music focused features including a TrackID™ music recognition feature, PlayNow™ music download service & a MegaBass™ sound enhancing feature. When the user plays their favourite tracks then the user can view an album art display on their transparent screen. This phone supports a Bluetooth® stereo A2DP connectivity which allows the user to enjoy a wireless connection to their compatible headset. As well as viewing video clips the user can enjoy streaming video clips on the XPERIA Pureness. The handset comes with preloaded Java™ games & the user can download new games to suit their needs. There is a built in radio feature which allows the user to enjoy a new listening experience & the user can enjoy all the latest music & news when tuning into their favourite stations.
