Our Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Review

This cool & compactly styled music phone is available in an all black casing, pink band on black, pink cloud on black, green band on black & green bird on black coloured casing, & all colour combinations are striking in style. It has a touch screen form casing which provides a responsive input method, as well as an impressive colourful display. It has a compact & single hand friendly designed casing which is easy to hold whilst controlling the touch controls using a thumb. It only weighs eighty eight grams & this lightweight design makes it a pleasure to carry or hold whilst regaining its quality build & feel. This Sony Ericsson music phone has been designed as a middle of the range Walkman phone which is affordable, stylish, user friendly & will target a wide variety of mobile phone users. If users are looking for a higher range Smartphone with similar high quality music features, the Sony Ericsson W8 may be a better option, however this little phone is impressive in its own right. The Mix Walkman mobile phone's main feature has to be its impressive sound & music features which include an integrated Walkman® music player with an assortment of useful features & options to assist any music focused phone users, which include a TrackID™ music recognition feature, SensMe, PlayNow™ music download option & A2DP Bluetooth® connectivity. There is also a built in radio feature with FM tuner & a radio data system display to keep the user informed with a visual display, as well as hearing new music, news & so much more from their selected radio station. This compact handset can really pump out some sound too, & it comes with a set of Sony Ericsson earphones if a personal listening experience is required.

As well as being music focused this rocking little phone comes with highly usable communication features allowing the user to access friends, make calls & create a message, using quick & easy touch screen controls. There is an integrated Facebook™ application for all those who love social networking on their phone & the selection of call feature will ensure an easy call experience is gained. There is a wide selection of messaging service available which allows the user to share text, photos, videos & sound in an instant. A fun method of communication can be gained using the instant messaging service for an online chat with other users, & a great way to stay in touch for users who are always in a hurry, as it truly is instant & quick method of communication. Messages are displayed in a conversation style layout so therefore each message & its reply can be seen allowing the user to see exactly what their friend's replies are linked to. This handset works over quad band GSM networks, plus a fully charged battery will provide an estimated 9.6 hours of talk time so therefore much talking can be enjoyed before the battery need recharging.

It's impressive three inch touch screen offers the user a high colour display as well as an intuitive touch interface which provides access to all this phones features. The screen is scratch resistant with a TFT display & a four hundred by two hundred & forty pixel resolution. There are built in camera & video features which allow the user to capture still or moving images using the three megapixel rear facing camera lens, & there is a video player which allows the user to video their own videos plus videos shared from others or even downloaded footage. This handset is Wi-Fi™ capable providing a Wi-Fi™ connection to nearby wireless LAN's or hotspots when the user desires, plus there is an integrated Obigo™ Q7 Web browser complete with a user friendly Google™ search facility for easy Web browsing. To connect to other devices such as a computer, laptop, another mobile phone & such like, the user can use either Bluetooth® wireless connectivity or the micro USB connection port to connect with ease. There is two hundred & fifty six megabytes of preinstalled memory plus sixty four megabytes of RAM built into this phone, & if further memory is needed for storing all those music files then the user can insert a MicroSD™ memory card up to thirty two gigabytes in size.
