I got this phone about a year ago & it still works. But it has it's days where it turns itself off lots & whenever I get a text message it takes about a million years to open & I can never ever find it in my bag when it's going off because it is so small. The battery life is quite rubbish it only lasts a day when you use it properly. It is a good phone if you don't want it to do much or be very big. The mirror doesn't really reflect much either.

Love everything about this phone. Just updated the software on it. Keypad is okay. Much better than some of the Sony phones out there. Got conversations, which is fab.

I was looking for a small handset, reasonably priced & ideally in a funky colour. So the Jalou immediately jumped out at me. The purple (deep amethyst) colour is lovely & this phone is definitely designed for women! I am used to Sony Ericsson so the features were all familiar to me. The downside of this phone for me is the buttons. They are tiny diamond shape flat keys, which are very close together as the phone is so small. It is very difficult to text without pressing the wrong keys & the phone not understanding the word. I have pretty small hands so imagine this could be a real problem for anyone with bigger hands! It would be better if the keys were raised slightly to distinguish them more. Other than that, I love the phone & it is ideal for keeping in a small handbag. The display on the front with the phone closed is funky. It would be great if there was a transparent protective cover to protect the purple covering, the surface shows up fingerprints & may be prone to scratching quite easily.
Overall I would recommend this phone.

I received this phone as a Christmas present. It is a lovely looking phone, very easy to use, has all the features I require. The screen on the top is very useful as you do not have to open the phone to see who a message is from.
Top marks from me.

I got this phone for my birthday. It's a really nice phone feels nice to use. Buttons take a little getting used to but when your used to them there fine. It's pretty much same as all Sony phones to use so it's really easy to use.
