BenQ-Siemens S65 Review

The BenQ-Siemens S65 is a very powerful mobile phone with very attractive looks. The phone comes in a silver finish with black keys and screen background. The handset comes in a comfortable size which is 109 x 48 x 18 mm. The overall weight of the phone is 98 grams which feels good in the hand and is a very manageable size to work.

The S65 comes with a TFT 65k colour screen which provides a 132 x 176 pixels display. The phone comes with a integrated 1.3 megapixel camera (1280 x 960 pixels) with zoom which is very user friendly. The user can enjoy the video camera feature which records to a MPEG4 format and allows the user to capture their special moments in full colour action. The video feature comes with a video playback feature and the user can send their recording to friend and family via the multimedia messaging service. The phone comes with 11 Mbytes of shared memory and with the option to expand the memory with a 32 Mbytes MultiMediaCard™ which can be easily added via the memory slot.

Had this phone for nearly four years now, & it's still going fine, no problems & battery life is still pretty good.

Other phones I've had only last for a year or so, but this one is great. It's lacking a few features today, so might upgrade to something with an MP3 player.

I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who just needs a reliable good looking phone.

The screen is the best, nice large display and well clear. The camera is a not up too much but as a general phone this is pretty good. Not a bad deal on this model at the moment.

No MP3 music player and the camera is not worth having as it just is not up to the job. Poor quality photos which can only be taken in the brightness lighting conditions. If you want a camera phone look elsewhere.

Top keypad on the S65 a sweet phone to use. Cant beat Siemens, not small and fiddly like some models that are on the market.

Loving the Bluetooth connectivity it really makes a difference to the way I use my phone. I connect wirelessly whenever I can and it is great. I would of liked a MP3 player, then it would score 100% for everything.
