BenQ-Siemens M75 Review

The BenQ-Siemens M75 is a sporty lifestyle mobile phone focused towards the outdoor user. The phone comes in two urban colour which include safari green & volcano black which both give the phone a great look & image. The phone comes with rubber edging & metal frame which makes it a very robust handset & the screen is very tough. The overall weight of the phone is 110 grams & the handset is 110.5 x 51.5 x 20.8 mm in size which feels comfortable to hold. The BenQ-Siemens M75 comes from the same family as the BenQ-Siemens M65 & both phones are fully focused on the outdoors usage. The phone comes with a BenQ-Siemens Protection System™ which provides the phone with splash proof, shock proof & dust proof resistance & complies with IP54 standards.

The tough screen provides the user with 262k colour & a 132 x 176 pixels display which is great for viewing all of their photos & video clips. The built in 1.3 megapixel camera comes with a dedicated photo key which makes it easy for the user to operate. The phone comes complete with MIDI, WAV & AAC ringtones which can really bring the BenQ-Siemens M75 to life & allows the user to bring a very personal feel to their phone with their own choice of ringtone. The phone comes with tri band network which will switch between bands automatically. The phone can transfer data at high speed with the use of GPRS & the phone comes with a WML Internet browser which the user can enjoy. The user can connect to devices effectively using USB cable, Bluetooth® or Infra Red. So far the phone offers an almost complete function. But it' has a bug on its camera. Mine (don't know others) while the camera activated up to 40 second the screen will get dark. So I've to quit & re-enter again to the camera service.

All is good, just the camera is a bug.

No radio on this phone is a big mistake. Us outdoor adventurous types do like to listen to music. Like the style but wont part with my money for the due fact he has built in radio.

Brill strong & durable phone but the quality is not as good as I was expecting. Camera is a bit grainy & the video is no better. Music is fine but would only recommend this phone if it is durability that you are looking for in a phone. Currently looking for my next buy on this site, like the Nokia's.

I haven't got this phone but my partner has & he is very pleased with it. It is easy to use & he uses the 1.3 megapixel camera, video recorder, & MMS all the time. He has told be to get a Siemens phone as it is the most reliable phone he has ever owned. Sounds worth a look folks.

The screen on my M75 is really dark & when I am using the camera feature I can hardly see a thing. Is there a brightness feature or is the quality I am to expect all of the time. Swapped the phone with a mate of mine & I think I know why she swapped it now. Dull & dismal mobile phone.
