This has to be one of the most annoying phones ever (which other phone asks you are you sure, whenever you use the soft key short cut?!) HOWEVER it is also the most durable phone I have ever used. I have ABUSED this phone, the poppy design is almost completely scratched off (& you can't just do that with your finger nails! It has been dropped don't know how many times, stuck in the mud at Reading festival for a night, dropped in coffee, been thrown around in my bag & pockets & yet it still functions as a mobile phone. OK the predictive text is far too slow, & the internal memory is tiny, but the battery life is still four days (ish) after two & a half years of solid use, as well as a good two hours solid calling. It's not a perfect phone by any standard, but if you can put up with its little annoying bits it is still a surprisingly good phone that I will actually miss when I upgrade.

I have had this phone for 2 years & am not even considering a new one! It is my favourite out of seven! It has a mirror, Internet, video, camera, stopwatch, sound recorder, calculator, MMS, & loads more. I have never had any problems & would recommend it to anyone.

I have had this phone for one & a half years (approx).

At first, I liked it. I was not that happy with the design, as it seemed to be TOO girly. However, I liked it.

A few months ago, the problems started. The phone battery would hardly last, & would take forever to charge. The phone itself would shut down on full battery, & sometimes, when starting up, the screen would go all white & not work. I have to take out the battery to shut it off when that happens, which cannot be good for the phone.

The video only records a few seconds, & the camera is not THAT good. The camera button on the side always takes pictures when the phone is in my bag (because it can take pictures when it is not even open). This takes up memory & it is a hassle to lock it & unlock it (that is the only way to stop that happening).

The PHONE NEEDS Bluetooth & MUSIC. With that I would be SO much happier.

The phone itself gets scratched by simple things, & the back of it keeps coming off, great. The sound & reception is now bad, & it takes two minutes to let me see my contacts & send messages when it is turned on.

The only good thing is that it works a bit. I can send basic things & talk basic conversations. But DO NOT GET THIS PHONE! It is bad, & even the games make it crash. Take my advice! If it is on sale, or if they even make it still, DO NOT GET IT!

The only bonus about this phone is how attractive it is, the phone heats up within like 30 seconds of a phone call. I've had mine for like a year, initially I had problems with text messaging the phone refused to send or receive anything, the phone crashes every couple of days with the occasional sim error thrown in the middle, it needs to be recharged every other day, parts of the menu crash & burn & have done since 2 months after I got it unfortunately this phone prettiness is not good enough for a suitable phone for anyone.

I've had this phone for approx a year & a half & have had very few problems, although it has frozen a few times. It is very pretty & that's the reason I wanted it. My battery lasts well, & the camera, video & sound recorders are relatively good. Overall a pretty good phone.

It's an OK basic phone, just for calls & texts, but most of the other features don't work very well. I wouldn't recommend it. I've had it for around a year & a half & although it has never completely broken, it often freezes & I need to take out the battery & the infra red doesn't work at all. The battery life is short, about 2 days at most. The picture quality was disappointing, & the quality of the screen got really bad a few months ago, there's little lines all over it so it's all fuzzy (all the time, not just when taking photos). If you just want a pretty phone, that's just for phone calls & texts, its good, but if you want anything more, I wouldn't recommend it!

Bought the phone as it was so pretty, but so disappointed that I can't download photos to the computer. Bought a USB cable which was a waste of money! Not had many problems with charging until recently it just keeps dying. Also have problems phoning when it just gives a ringing before connecting. Time for an update me thinks - but it won't be a pretty Siemens again.

When I first saw this phone I had to have one, for the looks alone. What a mistake. After less than a month I had to take it back as it wouldn't charge, it was replaced, but from time to time it still refuses to charge. Fully charged it only lasts a very short time especially if your texting. For the past month I haven't been able to use it at all. When I switched it on for the last time I got the message Sim MEP lock failed. I've been every where trying to find out what this means but no one knows. No mention of a SIM MEP lock in the instruction booklet.

This is a really pretty phone but I have had nothing but trouble with it.

First of all the vibration & phone call tones won't work! As in it doesn't ring when someone calls me what is pretty annoying.

The battery life is less than a day with me.

Sometimes I experience a text being received a few days late!

Carphone Warehouse sent me a new battery but it did no difference.

Once or twice the phone completely froze & I couldn't turn it off.

infra-red doesn't work.

Takes a while for it to start charging with the charger.

I wouldn't recommend it but it is VERY pretty & has its good ways.

The trouble I am expediting might even be the cause of a problematic phone & nothing to do with the actual make!

I have had this phone nearly 2 years now & after a year it went all stupid, freezing, turning its self off etc. It also won't charge most the time but when it does then it rarely last longer than a day. It's a pretty bad phone really apart from the design & my friends love the way it flips open.

Right. I brought this phone last year, & at the time I was very pleased with it. The good features are:

It is the easies phone I have ever texted on & I can send a text in minutes. It is also very easy to use all round. The pictures are great & the games can be very entertaining.

Bad features:

The phone freezes from time to time, making you take the battery out. The battery life isn't the longest ever, but it's OK for me. Sometimes you can't connect to the Internet, & to get the pink theme back onto the phone you have to do a master reset. There is not a lead that you can connect to the computer, which would be very helpful, & the phone makes an annoying clicking sound when you open it. Also after a year & 4 months, it has broke. I expected it to last ages, yet one time when I charged it just, stopped. I tried to charge it again but it wouldn't charge. So I was left to just use it till it finally ran out. Because the phone is quite old, I was unable to find any replacement batteries for it & was told that I should get a new phone. I was getting fed up with it anyway, the way it would take about 5 minutes to go onto pictures & the way you can't put music on it so I am happy to get a new phone. The first year with this phone was fantastic, but overall, I am happy to be buying a new phone. The poppy craze is OVER.

I had this phone replaced 3 times. 1st one just died, 2nd one wouldn't charge! This one I have had for over a year. Never hear the phone ring as it isn't very loud. Don't use the charm as had to buy a new back cover because it totally scratched the original one. You can't see the screen in sun light. Picture quality isn't too bad if taken in daylight. It is a nice small phone & very pretty. But wouldn't say its fantastic, just ok.

I have to say I couldn't wait to get this phone but when I did, it was a total disaster. The battery rarely lasts longer than a day sometimes it won't even charge, & on a number of occasions it totally freezes & the battery needs to be taken out to fix it.

I would not advise people to but this although it is easy to use & very nice on the outside & I have to say the mirror is very handy but really the negatives out vote the positives after a year & a bit I am off to look for a new phone as I am fed up!

Good phone & really nice design I love the poppy! My friend had the exact same phone (until she put it in the washing machine by mistake!) & she said that she was able to send pictures music etc - but she cannot remember how to. I simply cannot get mine to send pics. I also cannot receive photos that my friends send me - this is very annoying. I also think that an adapter to connect the phone to the computer would be good to load on music & put good pictures on the computer to be able to put them on myspace etc.

Apart from this, I love my phone & it is one of the most stylish phones I have ever seen! The camera is good the ringtones are okay & I haven't had any problems with it so far (except once when it didn't receive messages for a while but I got this sorted out at my local O2 shop). I love my Phone!

Mine won't charge & I've only had it 8 months. If there is a design fault, why aren't Siemens recalling them & giving the customer a refund or exchange?

I now have to go out & get another phone - & it won't be a Siemens!

Firstly, this phone is v pretty, a real girlie phone (mostly the reason why I got it!).My previous phone was very old & dated, it literally JUST phoned & sent texts, so the amount of features was a lot more than I was used to, & I found it was very easy to navigate.

I have had the phone for just over 12 months, its never been that great at holding it's charge, but finally it has died on me, it won't charge, & it has ran out of charge. I also know of someone else that has had the same problem, so I am off to buy a new phone sometime very soon.

For those who want to know, the phone does take some 'Tru Tone' ringtones (I think the one I downloaded was in the SLA format). I just don't think it accepts MP3's, but I grew to love my downloaded polyphonic ringtone (after all, all I'd ever had before was mono) the camera is what you'd expect for a mobile phone, not good enough to print, but perfect for sharing between phones, as is the same with the videos (if you want to take really long, good quality videos, buy yourself a camcorder).

It was sometimes hard to open while trying to catch a phone call (especially with gloves on in this cold weather!), but I don't really have any complaints apart from the battery problem.

I have had this phone for a year & a half now & the battery is dying on me. It has also started to switch itself off. Infrared has only worked a few times. Very slow at loading. Can't open phone with one hand & even worse with false nails on. Good camera & video length can be increased by using the options & setting it to maximum however it is still quite a short time. The games are just embarrassing! However it looks good & the mirror was extremely useful. The phone does show every finger print which annoys me.

Good for somebody who wants a nice looking phone & isn't bothered about features. I am upgrading because I feel like the only person without Bluetooth & I can't take any photos on a night out without a flash.

I got this phone for Christmas 2006! I loved it, the looks were great & I thought it was the best, BUT. I was on games on time & the phone completely froze, I tried open & closing it & in the end I had to take the battery out, that was A BIG MISTAKE! When I put it back in the screen was fine, I was OK for a while when around 2 hours later I realised all my pictures, wallpapers & games had gone! At the time we were in sheringham as it was the school holidays but when we got home my dad went to the virgin shop in town & the next day they came & took my phone away & gave me a new one! All the phones had a fault, but we got this new one free! I have had it a year now & nothing has gone wrong, but I still hate to go on games! I am still thrilled with my phone I love it, but it could be better, but long as it works it will do!

This phone is pretty simple to use. Good for people with little phone experience. The poppy design is lovely & is one of the main reasons I bought it, however it doesn't have blue-tooth :( & it says it can play MP3's but whenever one of my friends tried to send me one through the infa-red facility on it just didn't work :(& it has also never let me send picture messages :( apparently there's always an 'error in transfer'. I have had this phone for 6 months but with its lack of features I need as a teenager LOL I have decided to pass it onto my mum whom is less bothered about such & upgrade a little to a Sony Ericsson w300i which I have had my eye on 4 a while. I have had this phone for a year now & I have had NO problems with it! The pics and videos don't get deleted. It doesn't randomly vibrate or turn itself off. It's really easy to do stuff on this phone & I really don't know what people are talking about because I only have to charge it every 5 days. It's a great phone & I am only getting a new 1 because my contract has run out. Nothing has ever broken & I've never had to take it back to the shop & get a replacement. I think people who say this is their 13th replacement are a bit weird. With all phones a lot of people have a lot of problems but a lot of people think their phone is perfect & nothing breaks. I guess I am just lucky :)

Love the poppy design I think it's really cute however the features on this are really rubbish the camera quality rubbish the video length isn't very long at all & the connectivity well I woz appalled by becoz if it has video it should ave Bluetooth. The fact that it has a mirror is soo brilliant.

This phone is pretty but hasn't got blue tooth & I can't get good ringtones. 2 days after I got it had to go to the shop because there was something wrong with it & the charge is rubbish. Luckily I am getting a new phone but not from Siemens but from Sony Ericsson. I can't wait to get rid of this phone!

Mirror screen equals a pain, when you are outside as you cant see the screen.

- Vibration - used to randomly vibrate all the time
- Bluetooth - No bluetooth is drag.
- Camera - Good as you can close it & view on the outer screen.
- Battery Life - Poor had to charge it almost everyday even with infrared off
- Ringtones - Embarrassing
- You can't open it one handed if you are in a hurry
- It can be slow to load up some things
- Dust gets into the outer screen which is a pain
- Mine has been to repair twice & still doesn't function properly
- The phone charm scratched the back cover within the first hour of use. I was not a happy bunny

The only good thing about this phone is the mirror, as every girl needs one. But Siemens, you could done better couldn't you?

This phone is REALLY elegant. But please take my advice don't get the new Siemens Mia. The clock on it keeps stopping, there is no video. The battery lasts 5 hours at the most. The poppy is a perfect phone, but the Mia is hideous!

I brought this phone as a Christmas present for my 13 year old daughter. Beautiful phone almost perfect. She loved it. Worked well for about 2 months then she started to have major problems. It would vibrate constantly when receiving calls or messages. Display would go blank, phone turned off by itself when fully charged, would not charge properly. Stopped ringing. It automatically deleted pictures. Screen froze. Sent back to repair shop & they fixed it. Problems started again & the company wanted to charge me £17.63 cos they couldn't find fault. She's hardly used the phone. Don't buy it, worst phone ever apart from looks.

The only thing that's good about this phone is the mirror which I use all the time. But other than that all I've had is trouble from it. It's had to be taken in for repair twice. The battery goes down within 24 hours. There are no particularly interesting features. Whether or not the infra-red works when I want it to be hit or miss. I'm getting a new phone soon & I can't wait, simply because I'm sick to death of this one! Absolutely useless. Would only recommend to someone who wanted to look in the mirror all the time!

I am an 11 year old girl who is starting secondary school in 2 days & I bought this phone looking at how pretty it is but as soon as I got it everything has turned bad!!!!! It ALWAYS turns itself off & the battery life is terrible. The Carphone Warehouse would not do anything useful about it so I will have to get a new phone & buy it from the Virgin shop this time! I need a very reliable phone for traveling to Secondary school as I take a train & walk a very long way then take a bus. The only thing positive about this phone is that it is very pretty but I don't think this phone would be suitable for anyone.

This has got to be the world's prettiest phone & as I'm a 15year old girl I loved the design & the built in mirror is a god send. HOWEVER!!!!! I have one word for the battery life-pathetic! I charge my phone everyday after school & at 4:30 it has a full charge but by 7:30 the battery has halved meaning more time spent charging the thing!! Also the ringtones are atrocious, I received a ringtone via my infra red & when it rings it plays for the grand total of 2 seconds! My screen has also started becoming extremely fuzzy & my videos are crackly & everything that could go wrong with a phone has happened with this one I thought mine was a one off but reading the other reviews I can see that this phone is simply a four letter word-I'll give you a clue it begins with s & ends in t!!! Please if you're thinking of buying this phone for you or anyone else DONT because I assure you will definitely regret it!

I was delighted with my CL75 Poppy when I first got it, but then things went down hill! I've lost all of my ringtones, apart from a really annoying one which stays on for ages even for texts! I have noticed the battery depletion is rapid & I've only had it for a month! No-one seems able to help though! Should have stuck with my Sony Ericsson!

Bought as Christmas present Nov 2005. Within 4 weeks battery would not hold charge. Replacement batteries (2) had same problem. Been back to Carphone warehouse for repair on 3 occasions - it is still there. They can repair it. Been offered second hand/reconditioned poppy as replacement, but told them NO. The phone seems to have a problem with the battery DONT BUY ONE & it's about time Siemens recalled all the phones...

Bought this phone as I like a clam design & it's very feminine & was fed up of black/navy/silver phones. However, it's hard to open with one hand. Pity you can't light up the display & see the time & date without opening the phone. When recording the quality is very bad & the volume is very low. Got it at Christmas & it's gotten to the stage where I have to charge it nearly every second day - major hassle. Plus, when the battery is showing low, it then goes very quickly, whereas with other phones you could get another day out of them. Very disappointed but love the poppy design.

Not a lot of features, a bit nice-looking, if basic phone. For those having battery problems, make sure infra-red is switched off because it stays on permanently if not. (Saps the battery big-time)

I bought this phone for my friend for her birthday. For the first few days everything was fine, worked well & the battery life was O.K. However about a week later it would no longer play ringtones & crashed, so had to take phone back. The menu is bad & the phone is generally slow. Would not buy for teens as has no Bluetooth or mp3 ringtones. Overall though it's O.K for the older generation...

Can be very slow sometimes. Very cute design with the poppy & the mirror is very useful, but is also hard to open one-handed. Battery life is ok & clear bright screen but the games are fairly boring & I can't work out how to do some stuff with it- didn't know it had infrared for months until someone pointed it out. Could do with Bluetooth. Also you can only record 5 seconds worth of video! Looks much better than it works.

Form over function. Looks great, but ring tones are poor, some things take ages to do & the menu's are a bit faffy. Battery life not too good. This is my second one as the first kept crashing, by the end of the 3rd week it crashed 6 times in one day, however the dealer was great & swapped it. Will go back to a Nokia next time. Sorry, nice try but could do better!

I only give it a 5% usability because of the length of time the battery lasts, I have to charge every day. I absolutely love the phone & this is the second one ive had as i send the first one back thinking i'd got a bad one as the battery wasn't holding a charge but turns out it's these phones in general. So love the phone, don't love having to charge every day!
