BenQ-Siemens CF61 Review

The BenQ-Siemens CF61 is a beautiful clam shell opening phone with brings complete style with it wherever it goes. The handset comes in two colours which are white or grey casing which comes in a very smooth coated finish. The user can change the fronts to suit their mood & change the look of the handset completely. The handset will feel great in the user hand as it comes in a 88 x 46 x 23 mm casing which is very useable. The phone has a total weight of 99 grams including the battery.

The CF61 comes with a CSTN 256k colour screen measuring 29 x 35 mm & providing 128 x 160 pixels display. The phone has an external screen which provides a CSTN colour display with 96 x 64 pixels which is ideal for the user seeing information without having to opening the clamshell handset.

The phone comes with a built in 1.3 megapixel camera which provides 1280 x 1024 pixels & comes complete with a 4 x digital zoom. The user will enjoy capturing all of their special memories & moments as a beautiful still photo & find it very easy to operate. The camera feature can very easily be switched over to operate the video record feature which allows the user to record their special memories in action.

The BenQ-Siemens CF61 comes Bluetooth® technology which allows the user to transfer data wirelessly between their computer & their CF61. The Bluetooth® technology provides the user with the freedom to connect wirelessly to any Bluetooth® compatible device including a hands free headset for maximum convenience. The phone allows the user to transfer data which ease using GPRS, a USB cable or Bluetooth®. The BenQ-Siemens CF61 comes with a WAP browser so therefore the user can enjoy surfing the Internet with ease. The phone comes complete with tri band technology which allows the user to use their phone across various continents & be reassured that the phone will switch between band automatically.

The user can enjoy the integrated music player which can play MP3, AAC & WMA tracks. The phone comes with 3D surround sound which provides the user with truly great sound quality. The CF61 comes with 1.5 bytes of shared memory & with the option of a MicroSD™ card slot which will provide the user with enough space to store many music tracks.

The phone comes with the option to download games easily which will allow the user to choose games of their own choice. The user will be able to enjoy a good gaming experience & have hours worth of entertainment from their games.

The BenQ-Siemens CF61 comes with messaging features which include text messaging service (SMS), enhanced messaging service (EMS) & multimedia messaging service (MMS). The phone provides the user with some very useful organiser features which include a calendar, phone book & calculator. IT IS NOT commonally USED, THIS MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR SUITABILITY. PRESENTLY I AM LOOKING FOR THE SCREEN OF BENQ SIEMEN CF61. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE SCREEN ALL TO NO AVAIL. PLEASE KINDLY DIRECT ME WHERE I CAN PURCHASE THE SCREEN.

It can also be nicknamed the SLOWEST PHONE EVER. Really I haven't seen a slower phone. Don't buy if you are a desperate person for calls, messages, saving & editing names, phones!

Other from that is a great phone, & for that price.

Love Siemens & love the finish on every Siemens phone I have owned. The CF61 has all the features I am looking for but I am not sure when it will be available or what the purchase price will be when it comes out. Like this phone & one other Sony phone & it depends which one comes out first.

Not had a Siemens phone before so I am a bit wary about the reliability of them but think the phone looks good. Unsure of the release date for Siemens CF61. Scored the usability lower because I haven't got anything to go on.
