BenQ-Siemens A65 Review

The Siemens A65 is a very simple & easy to operate mobile phone. The phone comes in a choice of colours which are sparkling silver & mystery silver which are both highly attractive. The A65 has an easy to operate menu system & the user will find that all the features & function can be accessed very quickly. The overall size of the handset is 100.7 x 44.7 x 19.3 mm which provides the user with a very compact sized phone. The Siemens A65 is ultra light & only weighs a total of 75 grams which feels great to handle & carry around.

The phone comes complete with a 4k colour screen which allows the users to view the date & time in the display. The user can enjoying setting & changing the screensaver so suit their mood. The A65 comes with a very simple to use QuickPic camera with an integrated flash feature which allows the user to take photos when & wherever they desire.

The phone comes with good messaging features which include text messaging (SMS), picture messaging, enhanced messaging (EMS) & multimedia messaging (MSM). The text messaging service allows the user to send a messaging with text input to any SMS compatible mobile phone which is a simple way to keep in touch. The multimedia messaging services allows the user to send text, images & sound all in one very easy to create message & send it to any MMS compatible device.

The A65 comes with polyphonic ringtones & melodies which brings an element of fun to the phone. The user can enjoy using the digital voice recording feature which brings a personal feel to this user friendly mobile phone. The pre installed games can provide the user with hours worth of entertainment which include Stack Attack junior edition, Wappo & Magic Picture games which are all very playable games.

The phone offers the user good call features which include a conference call feature, call forwarding, handsfree talking & a display feature which allows the user to see the total time of a call & cost of each call. The phone comes with a keypad lock which can reassure the user that no unwanted calls will be made from the Siemens A65 when in the locked state. The user can use the vibration alert feature when they are in an environment where the phone has to be set to silent mode. The phone comes with a calling line identification (CLI) feature, calling symbols & calling faces features which are all very useable & can bring fun to the A65.

The built in phone book allows the user to have up to fifty entries at any one time. The user can feel free to use the built in alarm clock feature, stopwatch & calculator as everyday features.

The A65 offers the user high speed data transfer using GPRS & comes with tri band technology will allows the user to enjoying using the phone with the reassurance that it will switch between band & provided the best performance possible.

A65 has a very low ringing tone & it is so hard to hear it, that I am forever missing calls. The phone is a bit slow & takes ages to action most of my commands which can be frustrating. I will not be scoring this phone very well on usability but with very good reason.

The menus are difficult to use on the A65 & I am really disappointed with it. Got it at a small price but as I am not happy the price doesn't matter, I would of preferred to spend a little more money & be totally happy with my buy.
