Samsung Z140 3G Phone Review

The Samsung Z140 comes in a very sleek casing which is mostly black coloured on the exterior. Internally the phone is mostly silver coloured apart from the striking black keys that stand out beautifully. The phone is a 3G technology mobile phone & it comes with fun & very user friendly features. The Z140 has a flip open mechanism & dual TFT screens. The Samsung Z140 is up against other Bluetooth® capable mobile phones like the Motorola RAZR V3 & they both come with some amasing features, the choice is all yours.

The connectivity on the Z140 is second to none with regards to speed & power as it comes with the Bluetooth® Technology. The phone also comes complete with Sync ML, IrDa & USB support. The Samsung Z140 allows the user to share photos, video or information with any other PC or mobile phone very easily using the Bluetooth® wireless technology.

The integrated rotating VGA camera (640x480 pixels) comes complete with 2 x digital zoom. The camera comes with a brightness selection, multi shot, timer shot, self shot, night mode, quality settings & photo effects features which give the user so much choice to personalise their photos. The phone can take video recording in an MPEG4 format & the video player is very usable. The internal TFT LCD (176 x 220 pixels) 262k colour screen provides a perfect & crisp picture quality to view the videos or display the perfect photo. The Samsung Z140 comes with 50 Mega Bytes of memory which is plenty of space for the user to save all of those special memories.

The phones personal information management features offers the user many useful features which include a scheduler, calendar, to do list, clock, world clock, currency converter, calculator, alarm & memo note pad.

The JAVA™ games come with 3D accelerator chip which make them very playable. The user can have fun with the Flash™ wallpaper feature which allows them to personalise their Z140 with their own style of wallpaper.

The MP3 player allows the user to have their favourite music with them at all times. The Z140 comes with sixty four polyphonic ringtones embedded & the user can also download MP3 ringtones. The sound quality is very good & the music player comes with a digital power amp.

Messaging is none stop with the Samsung Z140 & the user can select from text messaging (SMS), multimedia messaging (MMS), email or video messaging to stay in contact with their nearest & dearest. The multimedia messaging allows the user to send text with photos & sound.

My Samsung phone is good but there are problems with it. 1st it freeze's now when I switch it on it keeps freezing. I don't no why?

Have had this phone for just over a year now & can definitely that it is the best I have ever had!

The good thing about it are that it is very durable & handles lots of use, e.g. no scratches!

There are a few things that could be better such as the battery life which normally last 48 hours with average use! As well as this, the memory could be better- the phone has 60MB internal memory which is average but does not have a place for external memory cards which is certainly a negative!

Also in the last few weeks I have discovered that when vibrate is turned ON the phone sometimes decides not to vibrate, making me unaware that the phone is ringing!

All in all a pretty good phone although I am upgrading soon to a Sony Ericsson which I hope will be just as good!

This phone was really good to use, but after a few months. The battery went when I was talking on 3G. Overall not bad at all. The design of it is stylish but it was chunky & didn't fit in my jean pocket without shoving it in. The camera easily attracted dust which mean that it had to be cleaned every so often (difficult as it's really small).

This phone is great if you want a simple but yet excellent phone. It is a bit hard to understand what to do but as soon as you understand it is great. The rotating camera is excellent & great resolutions!!! Really pleased with this phone. It even has a math's converter which is great in math's tests! :)

I have swapped the phone once & still I cannot get more than 24 hours out of a single charge & that is with no incoming or outgoing calls. Rubbish.

This phone has got the lot. Everything & more. Neat flip open styled 3G phone that has a slightly lower specification than the top of the range Samsungs. Unsure if I will be getting this one but very keen.

Yes, I am in mobile phone heaven. I adore the video recording feature as it last for ages & I can actually record until my poor arm is aching. The video feature is great for a phones recording feature as normal phones can only record 2 minutes worth of clips. Perfect recording.

Mental camera a VGA with rotation & has 2 x zoom that works well good. Music sounds is proper good, kicks out some mental tunes, really gets me in the mood for a good night out. Love this fone.
