Samsung L870 3G SmartPhone Review

The L870 is a sleek slider 3G Smartphone which has been designed by Samsung with contemporary design & business needs in mind. This desirable handset is gorgeous to look at & comes with a Symbian operating system compete with high speed built in technologies. The Samsung L870 looks similar in design to the Samsung U900 Soul but the L870 comes with a Smartphone Symbian operating system & differing built in features. The casing is compact which makes it easy for the user to carry at all times which measures 13.5mm deep, 50.5mm wide by 103.5mm long. The handset comes in a sophisticated & contemporary brushed metal & black coloured casing which is eye catching for all the right reasons.

The Samsung L870 comes with a built in camera feature which allows the user to take snaps of their friends, family & favourite things using their new stylish camera phone. The camera is a 3.15 megapixel camera which comes with easy to use camera features & photo settings. The user can use the screen as a viewfinder whilst taking a photo which is a clear & bright screen. The screen is 2.4 Inches in size when measured diagonally which displays up to 16 million colours & has a 240 pixel by 320 pixel screen resolution. The L870 supports video recording & video playback which can be enjoyed in DVD type quality on this compact handset. The entertainment continues with the phones built in music features which include a FM radio with RDS support & a built in music player. The radio comes with a RDS feature which allows the user to view information which is provided by the radio station & can be viewed on the TFT screen. The music player supports all popular music formats & allows the user to enjoy their favourite music at any time.

This highly capable 3G Smartphone comes with a built in Office document viewer which allows the user to access & view document on their phone. The Samsung L870 supports business cards recognition & comes with a built in organiser feature. The user can record & store voice memos on their new handset which is ideal for reminders or dictations. A built in speaker allows the user to take calls over the loud speaker system which allows the user to enjoy a hands free call experience by hearing their contact over the loud speaker whilst a discrete microphone picks up the users voice response. The user can stay in contact with friends, family, customers or clients by using the built in messaging services. The Samsung L870 supports a push email service which allows the user to enjoy sending & receiving emails directly to their phone. The user can also create, send & receive text messages or multimedia messages. A multimedia message can contain either a photo or a video recording complete with text & sound to enhance the message which is a quick & easy way to share experiences in more than words. The Samsung L870 comes with a WAP 2.0 browser & Safari Browser which allows the user to enjoy access the Web & surfing for their desired information or services.

The L870 comes with built in memory & comes with a memory card option which allows the user to extend their phones memory capabilities to suit the user's storage needs. The built in memory is 100 megabytes & the expandable memory can be gained by adding a MicroSD™ memory card. The L870 is a 3G handset which supports 3G HSDPA technology which provides high speed connectivity as well as multitasking features. The user can experience high speed data transfers as the phone support s EDGE technology & GPRS transfers. The user can connect to other devices using a wireless Bluetooth® connection or a cabled USB connection between the handset & other devices. The Bluetooth technology comes with A2DP support which allows the user to enjoy a wireless music listening experience on the Samsung L870. The phone works over three GSM networks which include GSM 900, 1800 & 1900 as well as covering HSDPA 2100 network connectivity. The network coverage is fully dependant on the user's network provider. The Samsung L870 can be used for business or personal use & it will do both jobs well & with style.
