This phone seems quite, a good one to me, one big improvement for samsung. I know this because I used to have the E250.

Hey great battery timing was unexpected. I used to talk regularly 3 hours daily but no effect on the battery even a single battery bar never drop in 3 or 3 hours talk time. It is great. I have never seen such a good battery like this in Samsung. This mobile is master piece of it. So happy to have it.

So far so good, haven't found a problem with the phone as I only got it a few hours ago. I like the fact I can use my old Nokia Micro SD card, so I don't have to buy a new one or add the songs again. Nokia to Samsung not easy to adapt, the keys aren't much different, but feels much more well made then the Nokia 5200, hopefully this one will last longer.

For those people who say that the camera put them off, please BUY A CAMERA! & remember that even 1.3MP images will look pretty good on a phone screen, even on a PC it has more pixels than the average screen.
For the price you can't go wrong with this phone, I bought it after my previous Samsung broke after 2 years service. You can't beat Samsung for reliability.

Really love the look of this phone but when I went to the shop to buy it, the guy demonstrated it to me & the screen appearance is awful! It is so blurry, not at all clear, therefore, the camera pictures are also blurry. The shop assistant tried to change the contrast but found it is not possible. Needless to say, I did not buy it.

HAD A Nokia FOR 5 YEARS BEFORE SAMSUNG.I REALLY LIKE the SAMSUNG, BUT THERE ARE 2 NEGATIVES. I CAN'T TEXT AS QUICKLY AS ON Nokia, KEYS ARE STATIC FOR LONGER BETWEEN PRESSES. BIGGEST PROBLEM IS the SHORT, NOT VERY LOUD MESSAGE TONE. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW I CAN CHANGE THIS? ANOTHER REVIEW SAID THERE IS A WAY, RE MP3. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. Thanks.

Overall I am very pleased & would recommend this phone!

Great little phone. Very eye catching. Could do with something to grip onto to the slide to push phone up but otherwise great.
Great that you can put your own tunes onto message tone. Into phone profiles, right scroll to message, then message alert tone.

I have had this phone for a couple of weeks now & is a very nice phone. The MP3 player is really great quality, & all the settings are simple to use once gotten used to. Texting takes a little getting used to, but is simple once you have it sussed.
My only slightly bad point is the way the phone slides, although the design looks fantastic, the whole face of the phone slides up & with no little rubber bit on the face it's virtually impossible to slide it one handed. So you tend to have to use both hands to open it.
But other than that very small issue the phone is great & I would recommend it to anybody wanting a good reliable phone.

I have not even got it yet but I have read many reviews & it sounds fantastic! What is this about Phones 4 u doing bad phones, is it true. I ordered mine from phones 4 u, I hope it doesn't go wrong!

This phone might not be the best phone because I also have an Nokia N95 that does everything but the J700 is good for its look performance & the thing about the battery the battery is good no problem at all the bestest Samsung.

Nice phone does everything it should, I have a problem loading the PC studio to my PC & Samsung, seems very odd to me, will probably take the phone back as it does not do what I want it to which is link to my PC.

I love this phone. I've had Samsung's all my life & I never want to change. They're so easy to use & affordable. I think that the Samsung J700 has a great design. You can even use the shiny front as a mirror. Before this phone I had a Samsung E530 with is a great phone too but they don't sell it anymore. This is a fantastic upgrade for it. There's not many bad thing to say about this phone, apart from the memory isn't that good but you can buy a memory card which can solve all problems. I am very proud of myself for buying this phone. It's Fabulous! Buy it!

This is a very good phone, I have had it about a month & I only got it because of problems I was having with a Motorola & its battery life.
I have to say once trained the battery on this is the best I have had, for anyone whose battery is not holding charge remember to train it first, fully discharge & charge up three times & it will last a good three days.
I can't even complain about the camera though I did say at the time I wasn't buying for the camera, I took a picture on Saturday & asked someone else to take one also with an Ericsson with a Sony camera on it & mine actually came out better than his.
Overall a very good easy to use phone especially for the price.

Only had this phone for a few days, so far so good. It's a stunning looking phone, feels very expensive. Just getting used to it as I have always used Nokia's in the past but doesn't take long at all, this little gem might make me convert! I have had no problems with the battery, it's been on for 2 days & hasn't gone down yet. I thought the camera wouldn't be all that but in good light, takes nice photos. You really can't go wrong buying this phone, I can't believe it has all the features you need & feels & looks so solid for an excellent price.

Love this phone. Had a few problems trying to Bluetooth my phone book to the phone (but I think that was because I was going from a Sony Ericsson to a Samsung) so I took a while to sort out my phonebook. Sending a text takes a bit of getting used to, the buttons are sometimes unresponsive & adding the number to send it to seems to involve more steps than necessary. You also have to remember to leave the phone open until the message has sent or it stops sending it.
Overall though I am very happy with this phone.

This is an amazing Phone. I thought the 1.3 megapixel camera was going to be a problem, but you couldn't even tell if it was a 1.3 megapixel. It's got a great design & have never had any problems since I had the phone. Samsung has done themselves Proud this Time it also cheap!
If You Want an ace Phone That doesn't break & has a great design BUY IT NOW!
Best Samsung I have Owned.

I got the Samsung for my birthday & I didn't have a fault with it till I went to charge it up when I put the charger in the charger didn't work. The phone would turn its self off. I have had better mobiles but I did really like it but I have got to take it back because it's not working. I would say phones for you are rubbish & that don't get one from there. I have had 2 of the same mobiles from phones for you & both broke I would recommend you don't buy it.
It is a nice phone to use but the battery doesn't last for a whole day, so don't GET the SAMSUNG J700.

I have purchased this phone by a Hungarian GSM network provider. It will be for my girlfriend. I tested it some hours before loaded up the battery, the display has an acceptable size good manageable keys & 1.3 mega pixel camera which is still enough nowadays. Using the phone it gives very comfortable feelings. I took nice pictures with it. At finally I think this phone looks like simply good. Although I have one question about battery, someone mentioned that his phone's battery had given up after 2 days, how was the set used? Can anybody share experiences about this phone's battery? Thanks all.

Could someone please tell me how to customise the message tone on this great phone. I've read a couple of reviews which refer to setting an MP3 as the message tone, how? I can assign an MP3 as a ring or alarm tone but not for the message tone. Please help :).

I have owned 5 Samsung phones now & have loved them all, this is very stylish, easy to use & as I use it as a business phone it looks smart enough to compete with the more expensive phones out there. I have had Motorola's & Nokia's in the past, I do tend to change my mobile every 6 months or so but for 4 years I've stuck to Samsung because they are fantastic to use & look good. Had a Nokia for 2 weeks early in the new year & I couldn't adapt to it so went back to my old Samsung until I bought this one. Loving it. Stop depriving yourself & go get it!

A great phone, good looking, stylish & good features. For a budget phone (£59.95 including £10 airtime from Phones 4 you) it is the perfect upgrade for my E350. You can even change the message tones to play MP3's, unusual for Samsung. I have had it a week & love it & can't think of anything bad to say about it.

This is a great little phone easy to navigate menu. Nice clear screen, takes good photos. Got it for my Mum who is in her eighties & it didn't take her long to get the hang of it. With a £69.99 price tag at Orange it is excellent value.
