Samsung i300 Review

The Samsung i300 is a fantastic smartphone marketed at the business user end of the mobile phone market. The i300 is a mobile office but at the same time it is also a professional entertainment phone. It comes in a mainly black coloured casing which has a high gloss finish & some silver sections to give it a rather sexy feel. The i300 is a very solid mobile phone & this is mainly due to the fact that it has no flash opening mechanisms & it has a good weight to it which makes it feel so comfortable & solid in the user's hand. The Samsung i300 has similar features to the Nokia 9300i & both phones are marketed as fun smartphones.

The i300 includes a Windows™ mobile interface which allows the user to work on there phone instead of at their desk. The document viewer can read documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Adobe PDF file & the user can transfer the documents to their PC wirelessly using Bluetooth® wireless technology. The phone comes with a very useful offline mode which allows the user to work offline whilst on a flight.

The built in 1.3 megapixel camera comes with a digital zoom & LED flash which allows the user to capture all those memorable moments as a still photo. The Samsung i300 includes great photo features that allow the user to personalise their photos very easily with photo effects, multi shot, timer shot, mosaic shot or photo quality setting. The phone comes with a video player & recorder which is a very simple to use & comes with a video light. All the photos & videos can be displayed on the 262k colour TFT (QVGA) screen which provides a very clear & realistic image. A fun feature is the caller ID feature which offers the user the choice of displaying simple text, photo or video to display a caller's identification.

The Samsung i300 has a multi format music player which provides an impressive 3D stereo sound & the sound quality is totally amasing. The user can use the integrated jog dial navigation stick to skip between music tunes. The music player has a built in digital power amplifier (SRS WOW) & a graphic equalizer.

The i300 comes with 64 Megabyte of built in memory & a 3 Gigabyte hard disk drive to save documents, photos, video & music. If the user still needs more space for storing & saving then the MicroSD™ external memory can be used very easily.

The i300 is light weight & comes in black with a high gloss finish & a nice large screen. The colours are very impressive & they are clear & bright. It also has 64MB of memory plus tons of external memory if required. The sound quality is excellent, I think this is a wonderful phone some might say a little expensive but its well worth the money.

This is a truly outstanding phone with all the features & capabilities, good memory & large screen plus being able to work away from the office & still be able to manage things is wonderful. A truly fantastic feat of engineering well done Samsung.

I can say that the i300 has good capabilities that are outstanding & I am still in shock with regards to its performance. It is the real trooper of mobile phones. I can't praise it enough, well worth the expense it has saved me time & money.

Memory is plenty for my needs, superb features, display is totally amazing compared to other mobile phones I have used in the past. The only negative part I have come across is the battery life could be a little longer & although I am a high volume I did expect more initially from this phone.

Huge phone, I know it does have heaps of features but they could of made the packaging more attractive & less bulky. Was really interested in this phone but too clumsy for me.

The display on the Samsung i300 is a waste of time on the sunnier days, as it is impossible to see anything, very frustrating indeed. The phone freezes every now & then, which is another bad point. All in all this phone may state it is going to make your life easier, but it should state that it will have you pull your hair out the majority of the time. I am not that patient & this just makes my days work even more stressful than it is already, steer clear of this mobile phone.

Browser works well, lovely casing, looks great & feel pretty good when using it but did find that it was power hungry & the battery wears out very quickly. Passed this phone on to a work friend as I was not 100% happy with it.

What a great phone, it provides great sound, great vision & works like a phone & a PDA. Astonished it works better than I imagined, would recommend it to all of you out there.
