Samsung F520 3G SmartPhone Review

The Samsung F520 is a dual slider 3G Smartphone which is also known as the Samsung SGH-F520. The phone comes in a highly useable dual sliding casing which allows the user to switch between QWERTY & numeric keypad by simply switching between horizontal & vertical screens & keypad styles. The overall size of the casing is 104.8 x 53.7 x 17.4 mm which is a compact & sturdy feeling handset for the user to handle. The handset is eye catching & comes in a smooth black coloured casing. The handset comes with a 3 Inch colour touch screen display, which steals the show on this phone & it makes the phone a pleasure to use. The touch screen is large, colourful & reacts to human touch which means their is no need for a stylus with the Samsung F520. The Samsung F520 comes with a simple & elegant Flash user interface which works well on this model & provides the user with clear & easy to use interface. The F520 is from the same family as the Samsung F510 which is a stylish 3G phone. The F520 is in hot competition with the Apple iPhone & the LG LE850 PRADA as the phones share a similar look & come with large highly useable colour touch screen.

The built in features include a camera, video, messaging services, Internet, music player, 3G video calling & much more. The handset comes with easy to access hot launching keys which provides the user with quick access to features including Internet & music player. The camera feature provides the user with a high quality finish & comes with a selection of settings & effects to enhance the overall finish of the photos. The camera is a 3 megapixel digital camera with comes with a built in flash. The user can capture still photos & moving video footage which can be edited, stored & shared with other contacts. The video fun does not stop there as the user can playback their own video footage as well as video footage sent from other contacts & Internet video clips on their highly capable Samsung F520. The video playing feature supports MPEG4, H263, H264 & Real video playback. The messaging service include instant messaging, email, SMS & MMS messaging. The instant messaging service work like an online chat with other instant messaging contacts & allows the user to have a text conversation online. The SMS & MMS messages are quick to create & can be sent to any compatible messaging user. The SMS messages contains text input whereas the MMS message can contain text & sound with either a photo, image or video.

The user can access the World Wide Web from their Samsung F520 which provides a full HTML browser for the user to gain a mobile Internet experience. The use can access a blog sites, information site & gain all the information they need in their day to life from their mobile phone, the Internet in truly in the users hand. The Samsung F520 comes with a integrated music player which comes with easy to use music controls & features. The user can access their music player from the main icon menu which will contain all their favourite tracks ready & waiting to be played by the user. The user can amend their music files with ease & download their favourites tracks at high speed. The phone comes with a 3G video calling feature which allows the user to experience a face to face call with other contacts. The user can have a 3G video call with any 3G video calling compatible contact & the call is a perfect way to really express true feelings as all the users & the users contact's facial expressions are their to be seen on the colourful & clear display. The Samsung F520 has a second camera which is used when having a 3G video call to record the users expression for the contact to view on their screen.

The 3G HSDPA technology provides the user with a high speed connectivity through HSDPA which provides the user with faster connections for features including instant messaging & Internet. The user can gain broadband download speeds in areas will 3.5G coverage. The Bluetooth® technology provides the user with a wirefree connectivity option which allows the user to connect their Samsung F520 to any compatible Bluetooth® devices & enjoy a wireless connection. The Bluetooth® connectivity provides the user with a connection to Bluetooth® headsets, Bluetooth® compatible PC's, printers & laptops. The phone supports USB cable connectivity & comes with EDGE high speed connectivity. The Samsung F520 comes with a document viewer which allows the user to view documents in the most popular file formats. The phone comes with a MicroSD™ memory card option which allows the user to add a memory card to suit their storage needs.
