My husband got me this phone a few days ago I love it. The only problem is the MP3 screen. I like to have my photo of my son on the front & thanks to a few people on here giving me a way, I can still have it but you can't see the time or it doesn't tell you about texts apart from that I love this phone the best I have had.

It could be the greatest phone ever, for those who like small & classy thing, unless that MP3 screen.
Who's idea was it? Bad bad bad idea! It's so annoying.

Just getting to know the phone, but so far it's excellent.
I notice that several people have put descriptions on how to stop the MP3 player, here is the way I did it.
Go to Settings, Security, Privacy Lock, Phone Privacy, Save (you'll need to create a password).
From then on, when you close the phone, there will no longer be an MP3 player, just your phone screen & a box to input the password. Downside is you'll have to input the password every time you open the phone.

Having had the phone for 3 weeks now I am not liking it, the MP3 is a pain which I have now read how to get it off but then you are left with the pass code on the screen & having to type codes all the time. The phone is not loud enough I hardly hear it & it only goes to 7 for ring volume. The message tones are a pain & you can't put your own on. & I can't use themes on it either. All in all not a good phone.

I got this phone in pink it's OK but don't like how you can't turn off the MP3 player when you close it & the camera isn't that great either. But I do love how small it is, you can just pop it into your bag, I also love the colour & the swivel, I would recommend this phone but if you're looking for a better camera pick a different phone.

I have had this phone for quite a while now & I must say I am very impressed & it was definitely worth the money. The design is stylish & perfect for a lady's handbag, I don't think that it is much of a man's phone because of the design.
The battery life is pretty good but it runs down more if you use the earphones which you can use to hang around your neck to support the phone.
The only problem have had with this phone is that for some reason I can't hear on the other end when I make or answer a call. However this has just happened recently & it was fine before so it may just be one of the settings it's on. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help.
Anyway apart from this problem I think that this phone is a reliable & great priced phone. You will be pleased with it!

Had this phone now for a month & really love it. It is so much easier to work if you READ the INSTRUCTIONS! LOL. I had a Motorola phone before this, text a lot & have to say it was a lot quicker to send a text with the Motorola. There are too many lists to go through before you can actually send a text with this one but its a small price to pay for such a lovely phone. The battery life isn't the best either but it does last a couple of days.
For all you girls out there, look at it this way, who wants sensible lace up shoes when you can buy glamorous high heels! This phone is just like the high heels, a little pain is worth it!

Having bought this phone today I was very annoyed with the MP3 screen. When I read through some of the reviews I found you can actually turn it off through the privacy setting in which one guy explained. This worked brilliantly & would recommend this stylish phone to anybody. Thanks.

Never even touched this phone but I really want to give it a chance so. Can someone explain all this MP3 player stuff, also can you tell me, does it have vibrating alert because that is a very important feature for me because, even though your not suppose to have it on in some areas I have it on silent! Please get back to me on this thanks.

THIS PHONE ITS AMAZING & the MP3 PLAYER THAT COMES UP THAT EVERYONE IS MOANING ABOUT, WELL ITS MEANT To DO THAT the F210 IS A MP3 PLAYER WITH A BUILT IN PHONE THATS why IT DOES THIS.

The F210 is amazing but isn't the screen a bit too small like if you want to go on the Internet wouldn't it be hard because you wouldn't be able to see that much. Also I don't know what colour to get it in the pink or the blue?

Guys, if you lock your files only in the privacy lock bit & nothing else, this will stop the MP3 to pop up, every time you close the swivel but you won't need to key in your password to use your phone all the time, just press exit when it prompts you to do so & you'll be able to use your phone features without a problem right away.

You can live with that. I got used to it. It is easy to use & the sync. With the media player is great.
I love this phone because it is small & elegant. My phones battery lasts 2 to 3 days depending on the MP3 usage.

I was really excited about getting this phone as it looks fabulous! But looks can be deceiving. It broke after about 2 weeks when it had only been in my bag! I got Samsung to send a new one out & it works brilliantly! Everything about the phone is exciting!
People who say bad stuff bout it are problems of the slightly older generation & are not used to such brilliance. See but I am young & think it's cool!

Love the look, seems like a nice phone BUT & a big BUT, I cannot get that MP3 screen to go away. I have tried using the privacy lock settings as suggested but mine does not seem to work so I have to open my open every time I want to check the time or anything else, apart from that really happy with the phone. It's not the best I have had but it fares well.

I really like this phone. I previously had the X830 Blush so was already used to the wheel. I have it in purple & it's gorgeous. I do understand what everyone means about the MP3 player but it cuts off after a few seconds anyway when closed, I use the button on the side though. As for battery life mine lasts ages but then I use it mainly as a phone for answering & making calls! I have struggled to download wallpapers to it, not sure why though. As for the camera I agree with what someone said earlier, if you want to take photos use a proper camera! On the whole I would recommend it. Does anyone know how to hide the date & clock? This tends to cover my wallpaper on the phone & I wondered if this was an option on the phone.

Also, is it worth the extra money or are the other, cheaper Samsungs just as good? I really like the design & it seems great as an MP3 phone combo :) LOL, please answer, thanks x.

Having had a chocolate & krzr this is by far the best of them. My dad had a Samsung d500 & it was brilliant & lasted ages, so I thought I needed 2 get a samsung. Having got my phone it has lived up 2 my expectations. The setup wizard is a really good idea, especially if you are not mobile literate. My only criticism is of samsung's in general & that is not being able 2 use mp3s as message tones. You can on Motorola's but not samsung's. But that is a general thing for the whole brand & this phone stands out as a real classic, especially as none of my friends have it.
P.S. The reason the battery's life is so short is you need 2 leave it 2 charge 4 at least 12 hours when you get it to make the battery fully functional. I have got a week out of my battery, & it is turned on most of the time.

I got my phone today! I love it as it is so easy to use.
To get rid of music player go into security in settings then number 5 privacy lock & then phone privacy you then type any password you like & the MP3 is gone. The only thing is when you want to use the phone you have to type in your password or the other option is when the phone is shut just lock it on the side the MP3 will still show but won't come on.
I had the LG Prada phone before & that was a nightmare, the screen freezes the battery life was awful & texting was so slow.
Love the f210 would recommend it to everyone.

This phone is great, I have had it since Tuesday & so far no faults I have it in pink, but I wish I had got it in a different colour. The only thing I don't like is the camera, it hasn't got enough megapixels, but still takes good photos. & you can't put a memory card in, which is a bit of a pain, how it opens is really cool & I am really surprised in how small it is, & it's very user friendly, so easy to hold & text. All in all a fabulous little phone.

On my third pink phone now since December, various problems with them. Main problem is when viewing your downloaded images to use for your screensavers, when you select to go onto it, it freezes & switches itself off. It seems to happen when there is more than five images saved. I am now sending my phone back for the third time. Unfortunately now stuck with contract until November. Regret buying it now.

This phone is a great little phone, has all the features you could want crammed into such a small phone. I am deeply impressed with my Samsung F210. I love everything from the colour (I have it in pink) to its features, memory & size etc. Yes the MP3 feature is slightly annoying but once you put the lock on the side this is quickly sorted.
To anyone looking to buy a new phone & considering getting this one I would say go for it!
I would however like to say that. Phones 4 you should in fact be called. 4 phones 4 you, since this is my 4th phone since Christmas & although the sales team were all lovely & changed my phone every time without argument I didn't fancy the weekly trip to my shopping centre to do this so it was bye bye U600 & hello Samsung F210. Smartest move I have made all year LOL.

O2 do this phone for £99.99 at the mo but if you take in your old phone & chargers they will knock £30.00 pounds off.
So if you take in 2 old phones & chargers they would knock £60.00 off, you get me?
But your phones & chargers must work properly.

I love this phone because it's so small, but the things that annoy me are, the volume isn't that loud, when I close it the MP3 player comes up, when you take a picture you have to wait for ages else you get blurred pictures, & I have got it in pink & it's more of a red colour. Apart from that, I love this phone & it's handy.

I got this phone today on an upgrade & I have to say I love it. I find the swivel a bit awkward to use at the moment one handed until you get used to having the phone the right way, LOL. I saw this phone when browsing in advance for my upgrade & really loved the design, after reading through all the reviews on here I decided to give it a go.
Regarding the negative points, if you want a groovy little phone that you use mainly for a phone, then this is perfect for you. I have tried the privacy lock bit to stop the MP3 player screen coming on but have found that more annoying to keep keying in a pin so have gone back to the MP3 screen, it's easier to swivel the phone & as long as you have the lock set on the side of the phone then the music doesn't play. The camera is fine when mastered, you have to keep steady until you hear the shutter sound otherwise you get a blurry pictures but when you remember this it takes a fine pictures. If you want an all singing all dancing pictures then get a camera!
My only niggles (can't really call them complaints) with this phone is the volume isn't very loud, especially for a music phone but I think this is because it is designed to be used with the headset so you don't need it that loud. You can't change the message tone to anything other than the 4 set in the phone & they are very basic & short, so I think it will be very easy to miss text. But on the plus side, you can set it to repeat the tone so you should pick it up eventually! Finally it is a bit long winded sending a text, you have a lot of buttons to click just to get it to send! LOL, but regarding it not saving the sent messages. Click save & send not send, simple as that.
The keypad is easy to use, but I do have little hands so maybe someone with big hands wouldn't get on with this phone. I found it very easy to pair with my laptop. Just download the software from the CD, then when it tells you to connect the USB lead do so, it will then show on your phone, pick PC studio & voila.
The other thing I read through the other reviews was you had to go through the whole menu to mute the phone? You just press & hold the hash key & your phone is muted. Simple.
Gucci little phone that is simple & easy to use. If you want all singing all dancing then do not get this phone but then the price reflects this.
My biggest complaint was Vodafone only do the metallic blue & as this was an upgrade I had no choice! I wanted the pink one, on a plus note it does go well with the mauve lilac colour screen. Big complaint to Vodafone for limited colour choice but NO complaints to Samsung for a Gucci little phone.

ATTENTION, DO NOT BUY! I recently wrote on here about my phone well a lot has happened since then. First of all when I uploaded some pictures from my computer to my phone they came on the screen with a question mark & I don't know why. Another thing is that I found out that you can't change the message tone to one of your own which was disappointing. Last of all the thing that hit my last nerve was when I went to get my phone from my pocket & I opened it to find that the inside screen had cracked. I was fuming the phone had only been in my pocket & this had happened.
I then took it back to phones for you where I had bought if from & they had the cheek to say that they couldn't give me my money back or replace the phone because it was my fault not theirs & they said it could have been caused by too much pressure on the screen & because it was an LCD screen. I just thought why on earth would they make a phone that had such a sensitive screen. What are people suppose to do carry it in their hand? I am advising people NOT TO BUY the SAMSUNG F210 it is rubbish.
Well if you are a music guy then this phone is definitely good & it has very good memory but for everything else I think this phone is rubbish anyways.

The phone is an OK phone apart from when you close the slide the MP3 player keeps appearing which can be very annoying. Is there any way to turn it off so that it doesn't appear?
The set out of the phone is awkward as it doesn't stay consistent as it changes I.e. When you switch the phone off it has a layout you have chosen but when you switch it back on it has changed back to the standard layout.
Other than that it's an alright phone.

I bought this phone for one reason. I wanted something small! However, after ordering I read some reviews both here & elsewhere & was horrified to learn that the display is a girly shade of pink. People have reported that you cannot change this.
However, after 5 minutes of playing, I was able to change the skin in the settings menu, & give it a much masculine manly feel. I thought I should mention this as I guess it could also be putting other guys off buying the phone.
I do find it slightly irritating that when you close the phone you see it come up with the MP3 player. I haven't been able to find a way to turn this off. However, I have just put the lock on, & as far as I am concerned I never need to touch or worry about the MP3 player.
I do like the scroll wheel, as I am used to the iPod. However, you don't have to use this feature you can just use the keypad. I haven't used it long enough to report on battery life, & whilst I bought the phone from O2, I was able to unlock it for just £5 at a local phone shop. I spent hours online trying to find a free way. Wish I hadn't bothered for £5.
I am really pleased with the phones design, it's small & flicks open very easily. Once you're used to using it, you can open the phone with a small flick of the thumb. I just hope that the spring action remains intact over time.
In short I love this phone.

This phone is really good! I wasn't sure at first whether to get one or not as I saw other phones I liked but now I am so glad I got it! The design is really cool! & it's super handy that you can hang it round your neck! The usage is really good too & the battery life stays full for ages! The only thing is when I took it to school & put it on silent it was on vibrate & I didn't realise how loud the noise of the vibrate was & I got in trouble by my teacher! , but there is a setting on silent where you can keep it as mute! This is my 4th phone this year & I am going to keep it for a very long time! If you're looking for a phone that is quite cheap brand new go onto the O2 where there is a f210 pay as you go at £99.99 whereas phones 4 you are £130.00 pay as you go! I hope this was helpful :D.

After buying a Samsung F210 yesterday, I thought I'd read up on other peoples opinions.
To the person moaning about having to go through the entire menu to put it on silent mode. You don't have to do that, just swivel open your phone & hold down # for 2 seconds & it goes onto silent mode. Simple!
That's all I really wanted to say as it bugged me, other than that, good phone!

Well I got this phone about a week after Christmas & after reading all the reviews on here I was really put off but decided to give it a go. I saw people had mentioned that the camera wasn't very good but when I have got it it was brilliant for me but I suppose people want it for other things to. As for the music & photo uploading thing I really don't know what people are going on about it's so simple every time I have put music & photos on they have worked straight away. I think the design could have been a bit more imaginative but I love that I chose purple. So overall this phone has got no more that 1 or 2 small problems but apart from that this phone is excellent!

This phone is pretty good, just a couple of things bother me.
The MP3 player coming on, so if you want to check whether you have signal or the time you have to swivel it up, but that's probably me just being lazy ha-ha, but you soon get used to it, & after all it is an MP3 player as well as a phone & the battery isn't too good. I charge mine every other day or every day & that can't be good for your battery.
Personally I think it's to do with the MP3 player being on even if you do have the lock on, but I find the volume buttons on the side are annoying for making the light too come on too run down with your battery, as when you press the buttons on the side the light comes on straight away, with the D500 you hold it down for the light too come on, I find that much better if you have the lock on.
But over the entire phone is pretty amazing, I love mine.

To stop the MP3 playing every time you close the phone use the keypad lock button on the side of the phone.
It locks the swivel key so it won't play the MP3 (although it does still show on the screen) but doesn't lock the inside keys so you can still use them OK when you open the phone. Saves messing about with passwords all the time.
I hope that helps!

I got this phone for Christmas & I had it for a few days & it deleted all my songs (I got the purple one with 6 free songs) & it kept pausing & going back to the start up screen.

Someone asked the difference between a 4 & 1 megapixel camera, basically a 1 megapixel is poor like my old mobile phone, a Nokia block.
But like my dads mobile phone, the Nokia N95 that has a 5 megapixel camera it is brilliant.
So as the megapixels go up, the camera gets better, hope I solved your problem.
Also someone asked about how you can transfer messages, I think you can send them through Bluetooth, depends what mobile phone you got.
Hope I helped.

It's a great & easy to use phone, & to be frankly honesty, a phone is for getting hold of people, not to take pictures. So the fact that the camera isn't that great doesn't actually matter. My only complaints are the fact it holds little texts but you can alter that by each time you get a text go on to options & click move to sim. & as for the phone not saving your sent messages into your sent box you can click save & send, & opposed to just send.

I Really Love This Phone Its So Slim & Small you Can Take It Any Where! I luv the Colours Too Pink! The Only Few Bads Things Is the Screens So Small, It doesn't have A Flash Light When you Take A Photo & you have To Hold It For Ages Before It Takes It & By That Time Its Gone All Blurry! I Also Had Another Problem When I Tried To Download Photos From the Computer They Went To My Phone But They Must Of Been To Big & the Photo doesn't Show Up Its Just A Question Mark But Overall the Phones Really Nice!

This is a great phone, bought one for my girlfriend & she absolutely loves it. An amazing sound coming out of this tiny, yet capable MP3 player, great features but still missing the oh-so-useful IR feature; Oh well, could do with Bluetooth instead.

This phone is fab! I got it for Christmas & I love it & I've had no problems with it so far.
I've done the privacy lock & everything so worries there.
The battery life lasts up to 3 days if you use the MP3 players & FM radio a lot but if you use it as a normal phone I found it can last up to a week.
Over all I love this phone. I've already dropped it onto hard concrete & no scratches!

Hi just wanted to say thank you to this site it really helped me decide what mobile to get. This is an excellent phone & I am so glad I got it. The whole MP3 player coming on when you put the swivel down does not bother me. I put the privacy lock on & constantly typing a password in annoyed me more than the MP3. This beautiful phone works brilliantly with my laptop, I have been busy transferring all my songs onto it. GREAT THINGS ABOUT the PHONE, connectivity, memory, style. P.S. The memory isn't that bad if you only turn on Bluetooth when needed & turn the phone off at night. I hope this review helps.

OK. Just got this for Xmas was really excited when I went out & bought it. Thinking this is going to be the best phone ever. Everyone has their own opinions I am young so I have different taste in phones. I like the nice looking ones, that's why I picked this. I am gutted with this phone really put me down really don't like it. Good size really good memory but the camera its rubbish worst ever! & the sound, I can't even hear the sound when my phone is in my pocket! & when you flip it down the music player because like what's with that. & you can ring & vibrate at the same time & I need it bringing back to the shop tomorrow. I think I don't know but, don't get me wrong it is a good phone but not for camera & sound so if you're looking a phone for a good camera this is the wrong phone & another thing what's with the messages not saving in your sent box! Really am gutted can anyone recommend a good phone?

Just bought this phone for my girl for Christmas & I have a few questions.
- How do you save all your text messages to your sim card because I have sent her like 300 texts on her old phone that she wants to move to this phone?
- How do you save sent messages?
That's it really, hit me back as soon as possible please, thank you.

Well I think this phone is fabulous, I love it! Right people, to get the MP3 of the screen you go in settings, then security, then privacy lock & tick the boxes you want & you're sorted. But you have to put your password in every two seconds but oh well. For everyone calling this phone you are wrong, it's a well sleek phone & stop moaning about it. Whoever said you can't even put pictures & music on the phone yeah you can I love my pink F210.
Oh & people if you go in the 02 shop, when you give your old phone in they give you 40 pound off & also they said to me if you give me your number you'll have another 9 pound off so I only got it for 91 pounds, how great is that.

This phone is so easy to use.
To set the privacy lock you have to go to settings, then security, then privacy lock & then select either my files or privacy lock & it will stop the music player coming up.
The only problem I have with this phone is the battery life. I got it yesterday (even though I have been playing the games & listening to music) & I have already had to charge it because it went dead.
If you just use it as a phone, it should last 2 to 3 days & it only taking a couple of hours to charge so no real big problems there.
I love this phone!

Well, I love this phone! I got it for Christmas & everything about it is great. I did get into bother putting music on it but there is a simpler way than using the Samsung PC Studio.
Buy a Bluetooth dongle from anywhere (about £19.99 to £29.99) then plug it in & transfer your music through Bluetooth. It made it much easier for me!
I just adore this phone.
