Generally a good phone, shame that after a few months of use the screen warps breaking the LCD from within, leaving your phone useless.

I really did love this phone a lot. It has great memory, a good camera (when I uploaded my pictures to the computer they looked great) & I love the design.

I didn't know how to install the package to download stuff to & from the phone to my laptop, so I just Bluetooth them instead! It's really easy & very fast :).

However, I am VERY ANGRY at this phone. It was simply in my bag, & somehow the screen cracked. I did not drop it or anything like that, & it also had a screen protector.
When I took it back to Carphone Warehouse, they said they could not give me a new phone & that it must have been my fault. They also said I would have to pay 45 pounds to get it fixed. WHICH WAS the SAME PRICE AS the PHONE!

Can anybody help me? Thanks.

I absolutely love this phone! I got it about a week ago & it's great. I don't mind the MP3 player popping up because the keys are locked so it doesn't play in your pocket & it also disappears off screen when you open it again.

I bought the pink F210 & I absolutely love it! It has some great features & loads of memory with the added option of a memory card.

One question I hope someone can help me with, Is there any way to get the MP3 player off the screen when the phone is closed?

Having had this phone for a year & a half I would just like to say that it is a very good phone, I do admit I have lost it a few times but have got it back fairly easily. I have dropped it millions of times & it is still perfectly fine so anyone who says that it breaks easily is a complete liar & is obviously not looking after it. The sound is great & I have a 2GB memory card which allows me to store loads of songs. The camera isn't great but it's not bad either, I say, if you want a camera device then buy a camera!

All in all, a very good phone.

Great phone, have had it for 6 months now & I can't fault it. The only thing I can't seem to figure out is how to set a missed call sound. I get the message but would like a tone too so that I know I've missed a call without physically having to check the phone. Thanks.

I have had this phone a year in February, it is a good phone for looks, texting & the great MP3 player, but my Bluetooth is a problem as I can send but I can't receive & sometimes it won't do either. It also turns itself off quite a lot & now it is starting to play up with the music player bit as well, as when you swivel it down it goes to music player but it takes ages to go to the music player now & when you swivel it back round again I have to wait a good 2 to 3 minutes for the music player to go which is really annoying when you want to do something quickly e.g. Look at the time, answer the phone read a text stuff like that. Generally this is a very good phone, it's just not so good if you use the Bluetooth & music player a lot & need a phone that you know will be in good working condition over the 1 year mark. This phone is always good if you tend to drop it a lot like me as I am always dropping it on the floor & from heights by accident, it hasn't broke or chipped or scratched really & water doesn't affect it. So it is a really good phone if you want it for texting, calling, looks & the things it can do but the music player & Bluetooth tend to go wrong.

The phone looks great & has a great memory. But I have had the phone for a year now, this is the second F210 I have has as the first broke straight away. The phone I have now has broken too, I have has a lot of trouble with the camera & text messages on this phone, it simply doesn't let you take pictures or send a messages. I am fed up of taking the phone back so I am going to order a new mobile. If you want a phone that looks great then much recommended, but the gadgets & overall quality of this phone is poor.

Got this phone today, always had Sony Ericsson's which keep breaking. As long as this phone does not break like my previous ones then I think I am going to be very happy with it. It looks cool & it seems easy to use. Had one little problem with turning the MP3 screen off but after reading some of the other reviews on here I have easily rectified the problem. So thanks people for giving their expert knowledge to technophobes like me. Enjoy the phone it is a good little piece of kit.

This phone looks cool but the features are not that good & it's small & quite hard to use. If you want a fancy looking phone its good, the memory & MP3 is very good if you don't want a phone for any of that don't bother go for a different one. This phone is also very easy to lose & break you have to be very careful with it.

I have had this phone almost a year & I have only had one problem with it. The music player is brilliant! It's ideal for people who love texting because the buttons don't wear out & you can choose the style of writing you want which is cool.

The only problem I have had with it is that a couple of days ago it turned off for no reason (had full charge & everything) & it wouldn't turn on for 3 days. I was well annoyed but now it is fine.

It's also good for clumsy people who drop their phone all the time like me because it won't break & it doesn't turn of when you drop it & if it gets wet it doesn't affect it at all.

I would recommend this phone to anyone.

I really love this phone, its stronger than a hammer it looks great & the swivel design is just great as well it has so much memory I have millions of songs & still got plenty left. I have a 512MB memory card & I compared them together & the phone memory has more. So I recommend buying it because it has lots of features but if I am honest I only use it to ring & text, it's a lot better than the older version because it has 3 buttons going across instead of two that was murder. The one very small problem is when you close it an MP3 comes up so you can't unlock it while its closed but you get used to it, I love it when you can set a wallpaper so it changes every time you close it & open it again if you have any more questions ask me. Thanks Jack.

Hey, I have seen what everyone else has put about the MP3 player always coming up. My friends has this phone & that never happened to hers & she didn't need a lock password.

A question though, if you put the lock on when the phone is closed will it just be a normal screen or will a password box come up?

Hey, does anyone know how to turn off the annoying tone that plays each time after you send a message? Don't want to put on silent or vibrate, I would like to keep it on loud but lose this tone. I can't seem to find it in the settings. If anyone can help I would be very grateful, apart from that small annoying point I think it's such a fabulous, classy little phone. Hey there I got my phone on my birthday last year & I haven't had any problems with it. The way to stop the music from playing when you don't want it to is that there is a little button on the side of it. Flick it across & it locks the dial. Flick it again to unlock it. I have one problem though, can you save pictures to contacts because my mum has the Nokia 7373 & she can but after she showed me on her phone I was wondering if I can but I haven't been able to find it. Another problem as well, I put music from the computer to my phone & used up all the memory but when I looked at the available memory left it said I had half a Gbyte left. It might be my phone but if anyone has had the same problem then can you tell me please.

Overall it's a great phone & I love it. I'm not getting a new phone yet as I'm still in love with this one thanks.

I had this phone for the last 3 months. It's great, added some more beauties to my list. You can put PRIVACY LOCK to avoid MP3 Player by going to Settings, Security, Privacy Lock, My Files (Select or Check), Save, Enter Password (you can Put the Numbers of your Choice before that you can check the default password in the Owner's Manual). It really works.

When you close Swivel, You will find Enter Password on screen. But don't worry. Just ignore it. When you open a Swivel it will prompt to Enter Password. You can simply press Exit. It's as simple as that.

In other aspect it's a great phone. Speaker volume is bit on slower side. But sound really clear & loud with original Headphone (box pack). Camera is also good. You get extra image capture. Then it appears on screen at the time you take photo. You just simply imagine extra area on both side. When you take photo. You can see that when you transfer the picture to PC or in preview or in saved pictures also.

The only thing is that. You can't come over the DATE & TIME. It will appears on the screen, which will destroy your wallpaper image.

If anybody has a solution to off DATE & TIME display. Please revert with this solution. Have a great TIME with great PHONE, Thanks & Regards.

Hey yeah this phone is NICE but nothing special considering it is quite new they haven't done much too improve it from the blush!

The camera is only 2 megapixel which is quite rubbish considering most phones are coming with 3.2 now the memory is good as & external memory card can be added into the phone but the Sony Ericsson has a built in 8 GB memory! & coming soon is the new Nokia N96 with a 5 megapixel camera again & a 16GB internal memory!

This Samsung f210 is a really pathetic attempt of a new phone which just winds people up with the dodgy features. To turn on silent press & hold the hash key, to turn your text volumes etc up just go into sound settings & the only way to remove the MP3 player is to put your privacy lock on.

So for anyone looking at this phone I wouldn't bother.

The phone does exactly what it should, calls, music & great contacts options. With the earphones in on way to work I can answer calls without fuss.

I would like to know if anyone has managed to get around the problem of keeping saved sent messages, is there a reason why it won't save the messages. The MP3 memory is fantastic so I don't understand why no memory for sent mess. Any answer?

I got this phone for my birthday (in December) & I already want a new phone (it's now May) when my old phones (all Nokia) lasted me a year. The phone is GREAT for music & has a great built in memory. I find the buttons a little hard to use sometimes but I am used to it. I am looking forward to getting a new phone if I am honest.

The phone breaks a lot when people try to send me songs through Bluetooth but the phone sorts its self out also in the first few days I got it I took it to school & to my birthday party & dropped it loads some I don't recommend taking it out as soon as you get it & I think you need to get used to it first. Also the speaker on the phone isn't very loud which isn't very good as I like playing my music to my friends in large groups & they can't hear it unless they put it to their ears but at home by myself its quite loud but if you listen to it with your headphones (included with the phone) it's great.

Overall an OK phone, I was very excited about getting it but was a bit disappointed probably because I had such high hopes for it.

Just getting to know the phone, but so far it's excellent.

I notice that several people have put descriptions on how to stop the MP3 player, here is the way I did it.

Go to Settings, Security, Privacy Lock, Phone Privacy, Save (you'll need to create a password).

From then on, when you close the phone, there will no longer be an MP3 player, just your phone screen & a box to input the password. Downside is you'll have to input the password every time you open the phone.

Having had the phone for 3 weeks now I am not liking it, the MP3 is a pain which I have now read how to get it off but then you are left with the pass code on the screen & having to type codes all the time. The phone is not loud enough I hardly hear it & it only goes to 7 for ring volume. The message tones are a pain & you can't put your own on. & I can't use themes on it either. All in all not a good phone.

I have had this phone for quite a while now & I must say I am very impressed & it was definitely worth the money. The design is stylish & perfect for a lady's handbag, I don't think that it is much of a man's phone because of the design.

The battery life is pretty good but it runs down more if you use the earphones which you can use to hang around your neck to support the phone.

The only problem have had with this phone is that for some reason I can't hear on the other end when I make or answer a call. However this has just happened recently & it was fine before so it may just be one of the settings it's on. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help.

Anyway apart from this problem I think that this phone is a reliable & great priced phone. You will be pleased with it!

Had this phone now for a month & really love it. It is so much easier to work if you READ the INSTRUCTIONS! LOL. I had a Motorola phone before this, text a lot & have to say it was a lot quicker to send a text with the Motorola. There are too many lists to go through before you can actually send a text with this one but its a small price to pay for such a lovely phone. The battery life isn't the best either but it does last a couple of days.

For all you girls out there, look at it this way, who wants sensible lace up shoes when you can buy glamorous high heels! This phone is just like the high heels, a little pain is worth it!

I do understand what everyone means about the MP3 player but it cuts off after a few seconds anyway when closed, I use the button on the side though. As for battery life mine lasts ages but then I use it mainly as a phone for answering & making calls! I have struggled to download wallpapers to it, not sure why though. As for the camera I agree with what someone said earlier, if you want to take photos use a proper camera! On the whole I would recommend it. Does anyone know how to hide the date & clock? This tends to cover my wallpaper on the phone & I wondered if this was an option on the phone.

Having had a chocolate & krzr this is by far the best of them. My dad had a Samsung d500 & it was brilliant & lasted ages, so I thought I needed 2 get a samsung. Having got my phone it has lived up 2 my expectations. The setup wizard is a really good idea, especially if you are not mobile literate. My only criticism is of samsung's in general & that is not being able 2 use mp3s as message tones. You can on Motorola's but not samsung's. But that is a general thing for the whole brand & this phone stands out as a real classic, especially as none of my friends have it.

P.S. The reason the battery's life is so short is you need 2 leave it 2 charge 4 at least 12 hours when you get it to make the battery fully functional. I have got a week out of my battery, & it is turned on most of the time.

To get rid of music player go into security in settings then number 5 privacy lock & then phone privacy you then type any password you like & the MP3 is gone. The only thing is when you want to use the phone you have to type in your password or the other option is when the phone is shut just lock it on the side the MP3 will still show but won't come on.
