The Samsung Eltz S7220 is a 3G capable mobile phone which comes in an attractive bar shaped casing. The casing comes in a silver colour with a brushed metal effect which gives this handset a luxurious look & feel. The Samsung Eltz S7220 is also known as the Samsung S7220 Ultra b & as the Samsung S7220 Ultra Classic. Its solid bar shaped casing complete with a good sized display & well spaced out keypad allowing the user to enjoy their phones features with easy to use controls. The user will find a square shaped navigation key which can be located just below the screen & next to the navigation key there are easy to access call keys. The Eltz S7220 has a TFT screen which measures 2.2 Inches in size when measures diagonally & it has a 320 pixel by 240 pixel screen resolution. The overall size of the handset is slim & compact which is only 11.8mm deep by 114mm tall by 46.3mm wide. The Samsung Eltz S7220 weighs ninety grams including its fitted battery which is a lightweight handset without feeling flimsy due to the casings bar shaped design.

This 3G phone supports a memory card slot which can hold MicroSD™ type memory card so therefore the user can add the required amount of memory in the size to suit the user's storage needs. The Eltz S7220 covers a GSM quad band & 3G network which allows the user of this 3G handset to enjoy worldwide roaming. The overall network coverage depends on the user's network service providers as coverage can differ between network providers. A built in GPS receiver with an A GPS function allows the use to enjoy features such as geo tagging of pictures as well as gaining directions to locations on their phone. The Samsung Eltz S7220 supports 3G HSDPA technology which allows the user to enjoy features like 3G video calling on their handset as well as providing high speed connectivity & 3G network coverage. The built in EDGE & GPRS technology allow the user to experience high speed data transfers on this handset when the users is transferring data between devices. The user can connect their Eltz S7220 to others devices when the user wishes to transfer data files & the user can use either a Bluetooth® wireless connection or a USB cabled connection. A Bluetooth® wireless connection can be gained between the Samsung Eltz S7220 & other Bluetooth® compatible devices which are up to 10 meters apart for a totally wireless connection. The phone comes with a USB port which allows the user to also enjoy USB connectivity on their handset allowing the user to connect their phone to other USB compatible devices.


The Eltz S7220 comes with a five megapixel camera feature which supports video recording capabilities as well as still image capture. The camera comes with a smile detection feature which will automatically capture a picture as the users subject smiles. The user can enjoy capturing well focused images thanks to the built in auto focus feature & the Samsung Eltz S7220 supports a built in LED flash which will add light to those duller environments. The camera has a red eye reduction feature which allows the user to take pictures without their pictures being affected by the flash light & producing red eyes appearing on each shot & this built in feature will illuminate this red eye effect. The phone supports GPS which allows the user to enjoy feature such as geo tagging of pictures on their new phone. The geo tagging feature will provide a time, date & location for where each picture was captured. The Samsung Eltz S7220 comes with a second camera which has a front facing lens which is positioned perfectly for when the user is taking part in a 3G video call. The video call can be shared & enjoyed by the user & a compatible 3G video calling contact & the participants can enjoy a face to face call. The video capabilities allow the user to record video footage using the camera feature & playback video on their handset for moving entertainment when the user is on the move.

The user may need some entertainment whilst they are out & about & the built in music player allows the user to be entertained by the users favorite tracks. The user can transfer their CD's & all their favourite music onto their Eltz S7220 & enjoy a fun music playback experience when the mood takes them. This built in music player supports popular music playing formats including MP3, WMA & AAC formats. The user can also enjoy MP3 sound & polyphonic sound ringtones on their phone for incoming call alerts & message alerts. An integrated FM radio comes with a RDS feature & this allows the user to view text information on the screen which has been provided by the radio station & is relevant to the station or music the user is listening to. The user can access the Web on their phone to search for information & websites of interest or the user may simply wish to find out the newest ringtones or music for their handset. The phone supports messaging services which include an email service, multimedia messaging service & a text messaging service. The user can chose the messaging service which best suits their needs depending on the user communication needs & their contacts messaging compatibility. A multimedia message can contain a picture or video with sound & text, a text message can contain text & symbols, an email can contain text & symbols & the user can share these messages with compatible contacts that support the same messaging services.
