Samsung E760 Review

The Samsung E760 comes in a beautifully finished silver casing with black edging. The phone has a very elegant feel to it & the round external 65k colour display (96 x 96) on the front enhances the overall look of the phone. The E760 comes from the same family as the Samsung E710 but it must be said that the E760 is the most modern & futuristic looking phone of the family & the features are also out of this world.

The phone comes with an amasing motion recognition feature (M-button) which allows the user to swap from one MP3 tune to the next with a subtle shake of the E760 in a left to right motion. The user can also adjust the volume very easily by shaking the phone with an upward & downward movement.

The Samsung E760 comes with an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera complete with 5 x digital zoom. The internal TFT 262k colour screen (176 x 220 pixels) displays the photos perfectly. The camera includes ten different setting for photo effects so the user can have much fun creating the perfect finish to their masterpiece. The user can also select from three different shooting modes which include single shot, multishot & mosaic shot. The E760 allows the user to take video recordings in MPEG4, 3GPP & H.263 formats & the video player is very user friendly.

The user can send text messages (SMS), enhanced messages (EMS) & email very simply with this phone.

The Samsung E760 comes with Bluetooth® wireless technology which provides quick & simple data transmission. The user can use the Samsung Bluetooth® headset which allows them to be totally hand free when on a call. The Bluetooth® printing feature is very useful as the user can send photos, images or documents to a compatible printer ready for printing using a wireless connection.

The built in MP3, ACC, ACC+ player comes with a dual loudspeaker & it provides a superb sound quality. There are sixty four polyphonic ringtones embedded on the E760. The phone includes some very playable games which use the motion recognition technology to play them & there is JAVA™ games embedded.

Great phone, had some problems setting up the PC connectivity early on but once I had worked it all out it worked perfectly. Only thing I would change would be being able to change your message tone to an uploaded tune. Part from that spot on!

Perfect, makes me feel like never having a different one. The design is super & it only lacks an FM tuner & maybe a memory card slot.

This is by far the best phone I've ever owned the only thing that lets this phone down is the battery, it could be a little better...

Small, compact & really light. The camera is wicked & love the quality of the graphics, wont be changing this phone for some time. Fab to use & as well as having the all singing all dancing features, it is also extremely practical & reliable.

I am having massive problems with this phone as I can not hear clearly when taking an incoming call. Is anybody else having this problem? I am walking around the house & landscape trying to get a better signal, but the network provider is not the issue, it is the phone. I have just been unlucky with this model.

E760 is so hard to use & it takes too many clicks to enter your phonebook & select a contact, which should be one of the easiest things to do on a phone.
