Samsung E600 Review

The Samsung E600 is a very tiny mobile phone but it has many features packed into the small casing. The E600 has a clamshell opening mechanism & the casing is a matt coloured silver. The E600 is the smallest phone in the Samsung range but it does look very similar to the Samsung E330 as they have the same opening & similar features but the E600 is much more compact & smaller.

The phones comes with two TFT 65k colour screens one on the front of the phone when the phone is in the closed position & the other screen can be found inside the phone when the phone is in the opened position.

The E600 comes with a good quality built in VGA camera which has a 5 x digital zoom. The camera feature comes complete with a photo effects feature & a multishot function which are very easy to operate. The user can enjoy the video clip record feature which will allow them to record up to twenty seconds worth of video with sound. The Samsung E600 includes a play back feature so the user can play their recorded memories over & over again.

The E600 has a caller picture identification feature which allows the user to select a photo or picture for each contact in their phonebook. The selected picture will then be displayed on the phone when the contact is making an incoming call or the user is calling the contact. It is a really fun feature & gives the E600 a very personalise feel to it. The phone comes with sixty four polyphonic ringtones & four Java games already pre loaded.

The personal information management features provides the user with an easy to use phonebook, vibration alert option, scheduler for planning, personal calendar, to do list, clock, alarm, currency converter, stop watch & calculator.

Multimedia messaging can be much fun as it allows the user to send text, pictures & sound all in one very quick & easy message. The Samsung E600 may be small but it is packed with some great features & the messaging features include text messaging & enhanced messaging.

The phone comes with tri band technology, GPRS & the Internet browser is WAP 1.2 which provided the user with the best connectivity & technology.

I have just finished remounting my E600, that is to say I've just put it back together for the fourth time. It's actually cleaner than it has been for some time, given that my girlfriend put it through the washing machine just 3 hours ago! Yes that's right, a full wash & spin cycle & it just keeps going. Dried it out with a hair dryer & back in business. My E600 has been dropped countless times, has fallen down three flights of concrete steps, has been stood on, has been used in the rain, brought to the beach, & it still keeps going! There are holes in the plastic casing & it's covered in scratches, its missing most of its original silver paint, & the screen is fairly scratched. OK, so the camera is blurry, it doesn't have Bluetooth either & it doesn't have MP3, but damn it's tough! It's the second Samsung I have had & I personally wouldn't change from them for any other mobile in the market. I would definitely & of course design.

Watch this one go - the camera & video clip functions are outstanding which ensures high quality results - the keyboard is very easy to use. It comes with some great games & has some wicked polyphonic sounds on it. The size being what it is you can put it anywhere.

I am not happy with this phone what so ever as it keeps taking photos when it is in my handbag or coat pocket, what a stupid design fault. It was not expensive as I got it as an upgrade, thank goodness.

Hate the aerial sticking out, come on Samsung the aerial could have been incorporated into the phones design. I am a Samsung fan but hate it when the aerial sticks out & it makes the phone look clumsy.

A few of my friends have got this phone & I must admit I think it's a corker. I have to get one & quick so I can keep up with boys. I luv all the features, the design & how user friendly it is. The images you get from the camera & the video clips are very good. It has to be one of the best value for money mobiles on the market. Would recommend this one to you all as the price is so good & you can feel safe with a Samsung in your hand.

I have had Samsung E600 phone for a while now, it's a nice phone but the video recording clips are not up to much, a shame really but the camera is enough for me & works very well.

Smooth finish phone which makes it very touchy feely & feels great in the hand. Like the look loads. Using more features than I ever thought I would. Great price... Great package... not on a good network but that is not the phones fault.

I am a well satisfied customer after purchasing this mobile. I grabbed & purchased this phone it in my lunch hour & did not take much notice of the features. I am not normally a phone person but this has changed my life as I am always texting everyone & taking photos of the whole family. Very easy to use, a great buy.
