Samsung E350 Review

The Samsung E350 is an extremely compact & cool phone which has hit the middle of the mobile phone market by storm. It comes in a silver & black coloured casing & the phone opens using a very smooth & well designed slide up action mechanism. The Samsung D600 has been said to be designed & based on the Samsung E350 which is a great compliment for the E350 as the D600 is a top end of the market mobile phone.

The E350 comes with an integrated VGA digital camera with has a 4 x digital zoom & LED flash. The camera includes a selfshot, multishot, timershot & night mode which provides the user with all the modes they could possibly desire. The camera includes great photo effect features, which allows the user to personalise their photos to perfection. It is very easy for the user to swap from the camera mode to the video recording feature & the E350 also offers a good quality video player (MPEG4).

The integrated MP3 player provides the user with great sound quality & the user can play their favourite tunes over & over again. The phone comes with 40 polyphonic ringtones built in & the E350 allows the user to play SMAF, MIDI, MP3, ACC, i-melody type ringtones.

The phone offers the user the choice of multimedia messaging service, enhanced messaging service & text messaging. The user can use T9 type settings which will automatically predict the word the user is typing.

The JAVA™ games will provide the user with hours of fun & already embedded on the Samsung E350 is the Forgotten Warrior, Freekick & Arch Angel games.

The personal information management feature provides the user with many features to keep them totally organised which include calendar, scheduler, to do list, clock, worldtime clock, alarm, currency converter, calculator, memo book, stop watch & count down timer. There really is no excuse for not being organised with all these helpful & user friendly features packed into such a cute & compact phone.

The battery life for the phone is excellent. The camera is pretty good too. I have had mine for nearly two years & the buttons have stopped working & I got it fixed for £25 but a few months later & it's not working again. It is extremely stiff to move up & down & when I slide it up open all the way the screen goes dark (because its broken). But when it did work it was really good :).

P.S. I have over 300 pictures on it & no extra memory card or anything :).

I have had a Samsung E350 for 2 years now & I was extremely happy with it (apart from the lack of Bluetooth). I think that this phone is stylish & easy to use!

However a couple of days ago my phones keys started packing up. None of them worked & then I dropped the phone & the battery fell out, turning it off & with none of the keys working I was unable to turn it back on. I know that 2 years is a while to have a phone & I have dripped it many times but now I don't have any of my contacts.

I did love my phone when it worked though! Oh my goodness your phone is so tiny! Was the reaction from everyone. Yup, I was proud of that phone!

I bought this phone in November 2006 & the only problems I found was the way it slided up (it was very stiff) & it had no Bluetooth.

Bought this phone like 5 months ago & it's not that bad. Only problems are, it doesn't have micro SD card slot, Bluetooth though infra-red covers for that, FM radio (considering I am a music fanatic so that really BAD!)& the memory isn't that much either. For those who don't need much memory & don't mind the above missing then get the phone because the camera Quality is high, it has MP4 which is really nice.

Overall music lovers & those who need a lot of memory on their phones don't GET IT! Go for the Nokia 5700 or 5300 instead.

A good little phone however doesn't come with connections for the computer & is susceptible to damp, the size is desirable & it looks professional, however the battery life is not that impressive. Overall a good phone to use & to carry, looks good & the camera is good.

This is a really nice little phone, I got it when returning to England after 3 years of living abroad & had to get something that fitted in with my lack of funds but all I can say is I didn't choose wrongly! It's a cracker of a mobile, with enough space on it for my MP3's & pics & vids to boot! My only problem is the fact that it lacks Bluetooth & I do like to send my pics & music to my other half so this means I spend ages sending via infra-red- BIG PAIN!

Apart from that one problem I've loved owning this phone & am only upgrading to another Samsung because of it!

So if anyone has the chance to get this phone, & doesn't mind the wait in connection, GO FOR IT!

This phone is overall a great phone. I purchased it when it first came out, & at that time Bluetooth was not very popular, so it didn't matter to me much. It is a simple but fashionable design & really easy to use. The only faults I found are that it does not have Bluetooth, & it has little memory. Perfect for someone who would like a phone with a camera, but if you are looking for a music phone then it isn't really suited. But then again, a while after I purchased this phone I brought a Motorola L6. TRAGIC PHONE. Steer clear of Motorola's, stick with SAMSUNG!

I got this phone last year, I like a change every year so I should be moving on soon but I've loved this phone a lot. It's small & cute & the slide mechanism makes it easy to use & avoid any accidental dial. It's also very tough as it's been dropped & rained on & thrown & still working fine (not that I'd recommend that).

The only drawbacks as mentioned by nearly everyone here is the lack of Bluetooth & also the speaker phone is a waste of time. There also could have been more memory or an extension but I tended to have enough room for tracks anyway. The camera & video are great it has a flash & zoom facilities.

I think it's definitely considering the price.

I had this phone back in April & I think this phone is excellent but the infrared is slow as any other mobile phone it is very loud when playing music I love this phone it is very cute & I have dropped it loads of times but still works brilliantly its bulletproof & nearly all my mates have this phone it is very popular, but Samsung could have improved the memory a bit more & it could have a better slide. Trust me this phone is brilliant & I would recommend this phone to everyone on this planet.

Aghhh! It just imploded!

Generally, a very good phone. Its nice looking & it's very easy to use. Although, not having Bluetooth is a bit of a drawback, you can easily use the infrared to get files, but it's really slow!

I've had this phone since February, & it's now November, it's lasted me well, considering the phone goes EVERYWHERE with me, & it hasn't half suffered some knocks. But, just recently, the screen freaked out, first of all half of it started going weird, which was very annoying when trying to do something, & then one day, it just went totally white. I could still play music on it (I knew how to get to the MP3 player) but couldn't see anything. No use. It's being repaired now. Hope it gets fixed.

But it is a very good phone.

Well, I saw the phone thought it was nice, looked at the features & thought it was OK, not the best but it was fine! I got it & really took to it & its features but realised that after a while it was a bit rubbish! All my m8s had Bluetooth, built in speakers, good memory, and better camera quality! But I would advise it if you want a bo-standard phone!

I have the pink limited edition 1 & have had it for bout a year. It may seem good when you first get it but after a while it starts to get a bit boring. It hasn't got hardly & space to keep music. I hasn't got Bluetooth (the list is too long to go on)! But I hope you get the picture. DONT get this phone! XxXx

I am pleased with the fone overall. But I am really annoyed, as I have got the USB cable & the software all installed on my computer, but for some reason it keeps saying offline. Which means I can't connect my fone with the computer, so I can send music to my fone if anyone knows how to get music on your fone via USB cable please help.
