Samsung E310 Review

The Samsung E310 is a very practical compact mobile phone which has a flip opening mechanism & comes in a fashionable matted silver coloured casing with some high shine silver framing on the casing. The E310 is a well designed mobile phone that offers many user friendly features & is a quality middle to top of the market mobile phone. It is very similar to the Samsung X640 regarding the built in features but the phones do not look the same by any means.

The Samsung E310 comes with a built in VGA camera (640 x 480 pixels) which has a digital zoom & provides a good quality photo from a mobile phone. The camera comes with built in photo effects which allows the user to edit & enhance their snaps until they are totally happy. The user can use the multishot feature which allows them to take up to fifteen multiple photos & it is very easy to select & set up.

The phone comes with a good size internal TFT screen (128 x 160 pixels) with 65k colours & the external screen is smaller (96 x 64 pixels) but it also has a 65k colour TFT display. The external display allows the user to gain information regarding the time, date, incoming calls & incoming messages without even having to open the handset which can be very useful when your hands are already engaged.

The key pad is very user friendly & very responsive to the user which makes messaging very easy. The phone comes with multimedia message service (MMS) which allows a message to be sent with text, images & sound all in one very easy to create message. The (SMS) text messaging service offers the user the learning with T9 support.

Gaming on the Samsung E310 is good fun with the four pre installed games ready for the user to try out. The user can personalise their ringtones with the forty voice polyphonic ringtones & select different sounds for their message alerts.

The E310 has a calendar, scheduler, to do list, clock, alarm, currency converter & calculator which will allow the user to get totally organised & make their life that little bit easier.

Well I have my phone for the 4th year. & it still works great. I don't know why you all about the battery. My battery works fine. If I don't use my phone it doesn't need to be in the charger. & the battery works for a week. It I use the phone works for 4 days. NOT EVERYDAY.

What I dislike is that the infra red never worked! Which I find weird because it has one.

Have had this phone for nearly 2years & love it!! I have never had any problems with it switching itself off & find that the battery, even after nearly 2 years, still lasts up to 4 days. It has several features (including the coloured flashing lights that warn of a call, text etc) that I find excellent & despite having got 2 free upgrades since, I keep selling them & returning to the E310!

Good phone. Takes some getting used to when you've used Nokia before but now I prefer it. The only downside is the battery life is a bit poor but I've never had problems with it switching itself off like some of the other reviewers & I've had mine for 18 months.

Had this given to me by my Dad as a present, at first I had a few difficulties getting use to the keypad but I think that was just me & not the phone. Now I find it so easy to use with its flip up action it is great.

I think this is a great little phone it's small light weight & packs a punch in all the right places does everything I want out of a phone so for me it's ideal. The only fault I could find is the life of the battery as it doesn't last long.

Nice mobile but drives me crazy when it switches it self off & you need to recharge the battery most nights but it losses charge quickly. Its got some cute features which out way my first comments. I can recommend this one.

Because I live on my own & usual go out by myself, my son god bless him thought it a good idea to buy me a mobile. But after trying to comes to terms with it I've come to the conclusion that it is either a rubbish phone or I should see where I can get lessons in how to use it.

I had it on good authority that this was one of the better phones on the market, so it came as a real shock when I realised was a heap of junk I had spent my well earned cash on. Stay clear of this phone as it is a waste of time & money.
