I have had this phone for 1 year now. It's so boring! It has a really bad camera! Mine turned upside down & I couldn't get it back for months! I took it to a phone shop & LUCKILY they repaired it for me. Luckily!
It also has rubbish space! I can ONLY save 3 songs on there! It is really slow on the Internet, sometimes it won't even connect!
The battery only last 30 minutes when you use Bluetooth! It doesn't even have a power save on there! If you don't use Bluetooth then it still only lasts for 2 days!
The themes are rubbish! There's only 2 themes black & normal!
The only good thing is that the screen is bigger than other phones!
I WOULDNT BUY THIS PHONE IS YOU USE Bluetooth a lot OR YOU NEED SAPCE!
Don't BUY ONE.

It's a great phone & everything, but I can't seem to put music on it, not because the phone's a problem, I just don't know how it's done! If it needs a Bluetooth connecter thing then I am stuck. Someone help?

I haven't got the phone yet but I am getting it soon, I have a few questions though if anyone can help me. I've been looking at some other reviews on other websites & it says that it comes with its own SIM card & number but there are restrictions, does this mean I can't use my previous number & SIM card in the phone? I am happy with the amount of features on the phone because they are the ones that I will actually use rather than some phones having things which are there & will never be used.
The phone looks nice & by the looks of some other reviews, it is a nice phone to have, but my only query is about my SIM card & the one that comes with it, please could someone tell me if they have been able to use their old number in the phone? Thanks, Nic.

Have had this phone for less than 6 months, yesterday the screen turned white! I am unable to read messages, or use phone at all. I am going back to good old Nokia. I will not be using Samsung again!

A great phone for me, as the battery is much more reliable & it also copes with all the basic functions that I need I.e camera, video. The games are OK, but the best require a download that costs a bit more. The available ringtones are not great, but adequate enough, otherwise you need to spend money on the downloads.
A good budget phone, suitable for most basic needs & it is easy to use.

The Samsung E250 is one of the best Samsung's around. It is designed to slide straight in to your pocket & is one of the slimmest mobiles out there.
Its features are good. There's everything you need on this mobile. Bluetooth, MP3, video watch, image editor etc. This is a brilliant phone when coming to features.
Its usability is good as well. You can still use it even though it's very slim.
THIS PHONE IS AMAZING.

No signal unless on top of the mast.
I can't save images seen on Internet. Will only grudgingly accept push downloads for instance. 2MB of memory used up with infant MMS gifs that won't delete.
It's difficult to get SIM card in & out in one piece. Tacky cheap memory slot & battery charge covers.
Charger wire snapped before first use (very thin, not like older heavy duty chargers. Samsung website very take it or leave it (pdf downloads), no help.
Web settings a nightmare. Port number, ASDN etc. Was set up for Germany when first bought (in England). Not even close to the Nokia 6111. & that has it bad points.

I've had this phone since July this year & so far it has been alright. The battery I find lasts for about 2 days & it charges quickly. The camera quality is rubbish & the music doesn't play loud, but it's easy to navigate around & to work out how to use. The memory also is poor, but as many people have said, a memory card deals with this.
I have also found that after a while, because it is slide phone the grips it holds onto can get scratched & look ugly.
I have this phone on T Mobile & I don't know whether it is this net work, but I often fine that it says limited service or no service, even if I have full signal.
I would say the phone is easy to use & navigate around & good for the price, which for me was £45 in Woolworths.

I bought this phone yesterday & it's really good but its wile hard to understand the buttons. The features are good but one of the games don't work that doesn't matter I still think you should buy it for £30.00 I can't believe that someone's blew up! It's a really long life battery you should buy it.

I liked this phone when I got it. The design is nice, (you can get in lilac, black or silver). But the camera is really bad. When you take a picture it's bad graphics & when you're making a video, you cannot pause. Also, I liked this phone because it has expandable memory, which is good for a heavy user. I think the camera needs a little work done, but overall I think it's a great phone.

I have had this mobile phone for nearly a year now. I have it in the limited edition Lilac colour, I love it. The battery doesn't last very long however, as I mostly text & listen to music on it. The built in memory wasn't enough, (around 10MB or something) so I purchased a 2GB micro sd card which isn't even half filled yet! The camera isn't good, only 0.3 megapixels which is VGA. I think Samsung could have put a better camera on this model, then it would be great. The games on this phone are free trials only, & costs you £3 to unlock each one, I lost a lot of credit this way!

This is my first Samsung after always having Nokia's. This is just a bridging phone until my contract runs out as I broke my Nokia & this phone has a very good spec for £50.00.
I know the camera is poor, but that's fine as I never use it. The music player is very good, & over all the phone is easy to use, however when sending SMS messages it is quite long winded, as you need to answer 20 questions first, before you send your message, the same can be said for the organiser, another 20 questions, when all I want to do is set a reminder, Nokia was good for this. Still I am satisfied it will do my job until I can get a new contract phone.

I have had a Samsung since the t100, d500 was OK, & I am at the moment using a d600 & e250, I will never pull Samsung down for reliability as my d600 has been through the wars & is still soldiering on. LOL the e250 has low memory & at the moment is my only fault with it, look after the phone & it will look after you, you can get Samsung PC studio software to connect with PC which is simple to use & if you look carefully on net it is free.

OK. Where do I start? It is easy to use buttons because they're quite big, & simple. Really nice slim design, which is all I expected from a Samsung. Simple contacts list which makes it easy to find the contact you are looking for, good for emergencies.
The music player is OK, & is good for what I need it for. I have had it for 3 months now, & haven't been disappointed with it at all, even though I'd much rather have the D900. The speaker isn't very loud, but that's OK.
Very personalisationable, if that's a word.
Camera is rubbish. I compared it with my Uncles Nokia N95 camera & it was so much better, but I don't really care about that.
Can I just say that, most people think that VGA means 1 megapixel, but it doesn't it means 0.3 megapixels, that's right 0.3.
I like this phone very much, & for 50 pounds, it is probably the best phone in its price range.
I hope you find my review helpful.

I Love This Phone! The Only Problems With Is it.
- It Has Rubbish Memory (Unless You Get A Memory Card).
- the Camera Doesn't Produce Very Good Quality Pictures.
- Even If You Have A Couple Bars Of Signal, It Still Says Limited Service & You Can Only Use It For Emergency Calls.
Other Than Those Few Points It's A Great Phone!

I am very happy with it, but I am shallow & only buy handsets based on looks, that I think go well with the car I get every 3 years, in the current case it's a black Vauxhall Zafira, & the Samsung E250 fits well with it :).
However I am thinking of buying a tomtom soon & was wondering if anyone knows whether this handset can connect to it. As the tomtom site supported list of phones says it hasn't been tested.
Is they any users of these products that can confirm if the handset & tomtom connects to each other via Bluetooth?

The E250 is nothing special but if you want a fairly basic phone at a reasonable price then it's OK.
If you do buy one just hope you don't get any problems where you need to contact Samsung Customer Services because in my experience they are rubbish & can & do give you wrong product information.

I have had the Samsung E250 for three months now & I am really pleased with it. The slider still works perfectly well & it had not broken. The internal memory could be better but if you buy a memory card then it is fine. Also the range of volumes for playing music isn't quite big enough, but then again it's a phone not an iPod. If you wanted a really good camera then I wouldn't get this phone but it is fine for quick pictured. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a cheapish, good phone which fits in your pocket easily & works.

To everyone below who is saying this phone is rubbish. I think it's an amazing phone. For £50 what do you people expect!
I think it's great for teenagers, I did have one but it got stolen, the memory is very small but you can buy a 1GB memory card for around £15 which will hold at least 250 songs, pictures & videos.
The camera is good & the music player is good, only when you're listening to music you can't go off the music player or the music stops if you get what I mean.
It's easy to use & all the buttons are spread quite far apart. It's easy to navigate around too.
Good.
- Camera & Video.
- Fairly Cheap.
- Big Screen.
- Music.
- Easy to use.
Bad.
- Battery Life, is fine unless constantly playing music & using camera.
Overall, it's a very good phone for someone e.g. A teenager who is on a fairly low budget, the only other phone I suggest you look at in this price range would be a Nokia 5200, which is really good for music.

The worst phone I have ever seen & used. Nokia phone gives me a good coverage, & Samsung e250 shows no service or no coverage. Sometimes it shows coverage but limited service, I.e. Only emergency calls can be done. If you want to use the phone for style then the phone is OK, but if you feel that the major purpose of phone is taking calls or speaking on phone then the phone is pathetic.

I hate this phone! It is the worst phone in the history of the world, it is absolutely terrible. The quality of the camera is horrible for a phone that appeals to be so new because it has a 0.3 megapixels can you believe it! I don't know why I bought this phone but it was the only phone I could afford. The MP3 is alright but it is really quiet. The Phone memory is a rubbish 10MB. Just a quick note to follow up on the comment from 'Caitie' from Victoria, Australia Date: 19th Sep 2007' to say that you can listen to the radio without wearing the headphones. Radio reception is way better than any other small device I've used, I am very impressed. The headphones need to be plugged in as the cable acts as the reception aerial but there's an option to play through the phone's speaker somewhere, think it's option 6 in the radio menu. Unfortunately aren't paying extra for one at this price point!

Bought this from Argos on O2 for £60. Great looking phone, but slider can be dodgy sometimes trying to slide it one handed. Plus if you're thinking of getting one of those crystiline cases, forget it, I had it for about a month & after 2 to 3 drops on a carpet floor I couldn't put on the front piece anymore, one of the bad things about slider phones is you can't get any descent cases for them.
I mostly bought this phone for the features you can get, Bluetooth, MP3 player & FM radio & they were all quite easy to use but the FM radio required headphones, MP3 you didn't need them but you could only keep 30 songs on one playlist, bit of a letdown but wasn't too bothered.
I wasn't too bothered about the camera either, it's not bad but if you want a camera phone look somewhere else. The battery life is quite good, using a few times it lasts for about 3 to 4 days, often about 2 to 3 days. Take note that the battery drains twice as faster as normally when Bluetooth is activated.
Quite easy to use & navigate, easy to read, at first I tended to press the OK, I to activate the browser by accident from main menu but I got used to it after a while, if you want you can go to browser, profile settings & delete the addresses to stop it charging you if you accidently press it. All the other keys are easy to use, they're not touch sensitive.
Overall I think it was worth getting the phone in the end but next time I don't I'll get a slider phone, probably would get a candy bar or clamshell design.

The design of the phone is very good. But it carries some drawbacks that,
- There is a single port for both FM & charger because of that one can't play FM while charging.
- If the phone is on charging & you are using it, the phone become hot & interrupts in coverage.
- the stand by time is only almost 60 hours, & not 250 hours, which is shown on advertisements.
Except this it is a good phone.

I have had the Samsung E250 for months now. It is easy to use & has a great battery life. I am not allowed to get mobile phones whenever I want, so this means that I have to choose them with care & believe me I do! It is fantastic.
One bad thing though, I have dropped the phone many times, each time leaving it with a dent, scratch or loss of colour, (I have a lilac one, some bits are silver where the colour has worn off.) but for some this may not bother you.
Picture quality is good & sound is clear.

I brought this phone 2 weeks ago, but the screen has cracked for no reason at all & now is unusable & Samsung won't give me a refund because the warranty isn't signed by the shop even though I have the warranty book. You were probably expecting me too put up a bad review but it is a good phone especially for the price. You just have to be more careful with it than any other phone I suppose.

I THINK THAT the SAMSUNG IS A BRILLIANT PHONE, BUT WHERE DO YOU GET the MEMORY CARDS WITH THEM?

This is a nice phone & it does everything that you would want from a phone which, to be honest, is quite cheap considering what you get for your money. Only problems I can think with it are that the slide feature of the phone tends to start to stick after about 3 months, which is not the greatest, & the fact that it has a very low memory on it until you use a micro sd card, which is another £30 for a 1GB card, in reflection to the price of the handset I feel that £30 is quite expensive for a memory card. No other faults though.

This was a great phone, it had everything I wanted. The only problem was the plug. It is very specific so for you to plug it into the computer you have to buy a new plug because it's not a usb. But otherwise, GREAT!

I bought this phone about 1 year ago. It is a really good phone. The speakers are good, the keys are easy to use, the images are very clear & there are a lot of good features. Although I am now considering getting a new phone, one reason being I just want a change of phone but the other is this phone isn't for experienced users. This is the kind of phone to buy if it's your first ever phone or you just want to use it for calls & texts. This isn't the best phone & I am now considering buying a Nokia. I have had Motorola & Samsung mobiles but they aren't very good. I am now going to try a Nokia phone.

Hi I have had this phone for ages OK here is the good the memory card is cheap as chips £6.49 from play & worked great! & the phone is generally good but on the bad if you really like music like I do then DO NOT GO FOR THIS PHONE! The speed is tiny the ear phones are RUBBISH! & there is a few other niggles like you cannot set your own ring tone for your messages but on the whole I'd say it's good for practical people who just want it for everyday use & only £24.99 at Argos.

I got this phone for Xmas & its brilliant, the only trouble I've had with it is I've just brought a 2GB micro SD card & when I connect the phone to my PC it doesn't allow me to transfer files to the memory card.

Fantastic phone. Got this after my Sony K crashed suddenly after only 6 months. I have had this phone for 3 months now. No problems at all. The speaker is very loud, which is good for me. You will not regret buying this phone.

Bought this phone yesterday & can say that it's not so bad as I thought, for a phone with VGA camera, FM RADIO, MUSIC PLAYER, MEMORY CARD SLOT & A2DP profile the cost is comparatively good, I got it for 4490Rs (INDIA).
OK about the phone's interface is OK but you got to get used to it, it works well I did not find any problem with it, then the display screen is not up to the mark it's OK, & the camera for a VGA is good & the sound's quality for an average user is excellent, trust me it's better than other mid range phones out there. FM is loud & overall you can get your money worth for this phone.
So if anybody out there just need a phone with all these features & can't afford to buy all the costly ones there go for this. IT'S REALLY WORTH FOR the MONEY YOU PAY.

THIS PHONE areÚLES! I got this phone for Chrismas & so far I have dropped it loads & it has still not broken & I have got a memory card for it so I can put more music.
Most people say it is hard to get the back off but just run your hand up the back & hopefully it will come off does on me. If the camera go's the wrong way up just press the volume key in the side & it will go the back to normal again!
This has a good clean slide & a good volume on the MP3 & it has a good volume on the earphones that come free with it. & if you have a phone charm that will not go on it. The phone itself ways 80 grams.
Buy this phone it is the best phone I have ever had.

THIS PHONE IS the BEST!
To open the back press heavily in the middle of the back & push up & hopefully the back will come off it did on me! Good luck with that tip!
If your camera goes the wrong way just press the volume button!
If your phone starts rubbing that is just the slide warring in mine did that & now it is fine!
The phone is brilliant the camera is reasonable & the memory is not very good but I just brought a 1MB memory for it that you need to do if you want more than 4 songs on you are phone & the sound of the speakers are good I can put my music on upstairs all this phone is the best sorry about the spelling.

I got this phone as I had to exchange it for one that was faulty & I am actually very pleased with it. I've had it since about September & I've not had any trouble with it.
As I am not into playing games, or using it as a music player the lack of memory that some other users have talked about doesn't really bother me. Yes there isn't a great choice of ringtones but I don't care for fancy ringtones either.
I'd recommend this phone to most people but if you're looking for a lot of games & other fun features like that then perhaps this is not the phone for you.

I have had my phone for a week now & it was a MEGA bargain. I got my phone from virgin without the sim pack for £35 when the phone arrived I got £20 in top up vouchers. RESULT! I love this phone it is smart & compact & very easy to use.
If you want to download lots of MP3's I recommend to get a memory card as without, the memory is very small & you will only be able to get a few tracks on it.
Also if you want to transfer music, games etc the easiest way is to get a dongle (these don't cost much). It is hassle free & dead easy to do. The only problem that I have is downloading games. I have new games on my phone but they are in the other files section & cannot access them can anybody help me with this.
Overall for a good priced phone this is the BEST. Those people who moan about this & that about this phone SPEND MORE MONEY & GET WHAT YOU WANT TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS!
