Phone's good but does not have an alarm ringing while phone is off, cannot keep away unwanted calls whilst asleep! Please. Give me the default phone settings for the camera, as I am not able to send MMS. Battery life poor, but the best feature by far, compared to all other phones is the self portrait that we can take out! Amazing camera clarity for 1.3. SAMSUNG do renew this model with the swivel camera, enhancing other features! Can't wait for a newer version of D820!

- Battery low back up time.
- Once time switch off while song play.
- Bluetooth prob sometimes.
- Switch off during shutter close.
- Changes in settings after restart.

Not completely satisfied. However, it's not too much of a bad phone. It's not great for many people that you can't put a picture next to the contact name. Though not many people use that feature, it's nice to have it. I loved the fact that the Moto RAZR V3 could change skins so easily. How easy is it to change skins for this one? Someone do tell, thanks.

Looked & sounded good but in actual fact was a real let down. Loved my Nokia & even though it was dying on me it had far cooler features & you could actually do stuff with it I.E. install games, find themes & skins. This thing has been a disaster because nothing seems compatible & it's near impossible to find anything that will work with it. Nice work Samsung, worst purchase ever!

This is lovely mobile... I switched over from Nokia 6670 (it got jacked by mom) & all it took me was a day & a half to get use to this mobile... Drawback is that I can't install any games on it... Also the transfer rate of the bundled USB cable is quite poor... Photo quality is good as it looks...

All in all a good mobile provided you don't tinker around much with your mobile!!

Like this phone...its pretty fair....considering the price & the features....but it seems that will not stay for long in my hands....as the satisfaction level isn't there. And moreover I cannot install games on this phone.

I love both the Samsung D820 & Samsung D800 but I have decided to wait until the D820 comes available as it has better & more features when compared to the D800, so seems worth the wait. The D820 has the added MicroSD memory slot, quad band rather than tri band network, a little lighter in weight but not noticeable I bet & video messaging which could be fun. What is the exact date that the D820 is available? Can I get it now anywhere? What is the price? Advise needed please.

I have the Samsung D500 & have been 100% happy from day one with it. I am going to upgrade to the Samsung D820 that is the next phone for me. I will stick to Samsung as the D500 has been my most reliable phone. I love the opening method so the D820 would be a natural progression for me. The screen sounds good, photo & video features should be amasing & the technology will be fast & user friendly knowing Samsung like I do. It is great it has quad band networking, Bluetooth & Edge technology with the D820. I will return to write a review after I have owned it for a few weeks. Useful information web site, thanks.
