Our Samsung T749 Highlight Review

This compact handset comes with a large touch screen which allows the user to input their menu selections, options & text on their stunning touch screen. The T749 Highlight measures 1.37cm deep by 5.4cm wide by 10.8cm tall & weighs 105 grams including the fitted battery. This 3G touch screen phone is available in two colours which include an ice colour which is an active turquoise blue with black & a fire colour which is a rather eye catching orange with red coloured casing which is truly striking. The Samsung T749 Highlight is available exclusively on the T mobile network. The user can enjoy viewing up to sixteen million colours on the stunning touch screen which is three inches in size when measured from corner to corner. The T749 Highlight supports expandable memory which is up to sixteen gigabytes of external memory.

An excellent user interface complete with a user friendly icon display which includes audio postcard, music player, camera, help, call log, messaging, photos, calendar, Web, applications, videos & settings. The user can enjoy accessing their phone book, phone, Web & home features from the main menu. This handset supports 3G HSDPA technology which provides the user with high speed connectivity on their phone & the user can user their handset over either a GSM network or a HSDPA network band depending on the user's needs. Its built in Bluetooth® A2DP technology allows the user to connect their phone to other devices such as the user's computer, laptop, printer & other mobile phones using a Bluetooth® wireless connection between devices. The user can transfer their music & data files between devices within moments. The Samsung T749 Highlight has a USB port which allows the user to connect to other devices using a compatible USB cable connected between devices.

This attractive 3G phone supports Java™ games & the user can download a selection of new games using the Internet connectivity. The user can communicate with others using the built in messaging services which include an instant messaging service, text messaging service, a picture messaging service & a built in email service. The instant messaging service allows the user to chat with other compatible users that are online by using text & symbols to communicate. A MMS multimedia picture messaging service allows the user to share photos quickly with other users. The built in email service allows the user to create & share emails to & from their Samsung T749 Highlight. This phone has an integrated WAP Internet browser which allows the user to experience HTML browsing on their phone.

The Samsung T749 Highlight supports polyphonic sound ringing tones & MP3 format ringing tones which allows the user to enjoy high sound quality ringing tones when a new call comes in. An integrated music player allows the user to listen to their favourite music in MP3 format as well as eAAC+ & WMA format. A built in 3.2 megapixel digital camera has a camera lens situated on the back of the casing & the user can enjoy capturing still pictures as well as moving video footage on their T749 Highlight. The user can record video footage with ease & enjoy capturing high quality video footage which can be shared with others or stored for viewing at a later date. A built in video player allows the user to view footage in popular video formats including MPEG4, H263 & H264 formats.
