Overview
The Samsung S5350 Shark comes with a variety of built in features which include a social networking compatible Web experience, 3.1 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, easy to use call features, music player & video player. This desirable handset has a solid bar shaped casing & supports high speed technologies such as 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth® wireless technology & EDGE. The Samsung S5350 Shark has been designed by Samsung along with other members of the Shark range which include the Samsung S5550 Shark 2 & Samsung S3550 Shark 3, but all of these handsets come with differing features & capabilities to ensure the user has variety when choosing the handset to suit their communication needs.

Appearance & Size
It's solid bar shape design is compact in size & allows the user to view their screen & operate the navigation control or keypad on the front section of their handset. This handset comes with a black coloured casing complete with silver coloured accents to enhance the navigation control & overall appearance of the casing. The Samsung S5350 Shark is 115.2mm tall by 46.7mm wide by 11.9mm deep & it weighs 99.2 grams with its battery fitted. The screen has a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels & displays up to 262 thousand colours. Below the TFT screen there is a diamond shaped navigation control which allows the user to glide through features & selection with ease. The keypad is situated just beneath the navigation control & comes with easily accessible numeric keys with alphabetic option.


Imaging, Media & Entertainment
There is an integrated 3.1 megapixel camera which has a rear facing lens on the back of the casing. This camera supports both video recording capabilities & still photo capturing. It comes with a built in smile detection feature allowing the user to capture happy photos each time the camera is used & it has an automatic focus feature. The user can record video footage up to fifteen frames per second & the user can enjoy sharing their recordings via the MMS message service if desired. This 3G phone comes with a built in organiser & with a user friendly phone book which allows the user to store all their contacts details on their handset. The user can add new contacts, edit existing contacts & delete contacts in their phone book easily. This phone book can hold up to one thousand entries. There is a call log which stores a record of up to thirty missed, received or dialled. The user can communicate online using the phones built in instant messaging service as the user can communicate with other contacts that are online at the same time & communicate using text & symbols in an online message service. This Samsung S5350 Shark phone comes with a multimedia message service which allows the user to create a message with a photo or a video included with text & sound or music. This handset supports a T9 predictive text service which makes inputting text a faster experience for the user as each word the users starts to type will be predicted by the T9 predictive service.

The Samsung S5350 Shark is a 3G HSDPA capable mobile phone which provides the user with high speed connectivity & this handset works over HSDPA 900 & HSDPA 2100 as well as GSM networks GSM 850, 900, 1800 & 1900. It supports Bluetooth® technology with A2DP which allows the user to connect to other compatible devices using a wireless connection. The Samsung S5350 Shark comes with a USB port which allows the user to use a USB cabled when connecting their handset to other USB compatible devices. This phone supports GPRS & EDGE technologies which provide fast speed data transfer speeds when the user is transferring data between the Samsung S5350 Shark & other connected devices. The battery provides up to 10.5 hours of GSM talk time or approximately 3.1 hours of 3G talk time from a fully charged battery. It comes with one hundred megabytes of built in memory & the handset has a memory card slot which can hold up to sixteen gigabytes of MicroSD™ type memory.
