Overview
The M3710 Corby Beat is a touch screen phone which comes with a sleek & attractive casing. This handset is from the same Samsung Beat family as the Samsung M2520 Beat Techno. Its touch screen design allows the user to experience smooth activated touch screen controls on the beautiful viewing display. The Samsung M3710 Corby Beat comes with cool music features including a radio feature & a music playback feature complete with dedicated music controls. There is also a built in two megapixel camera, a variety of messaging features & this phone supports WiFi® technology.

Appearance & Size
Its subtly curved casing comes in a neon blue coloured casing or is available in a black coloured casing. The user can choose a handset colour to best suit the user's individual style. The Samsung M3710 Corby Beat has a well proportioned casing due to its touch screen form which is 10.5cm in length, 5.65cm in width by 1.23cm in depth. A capacitive touch screen almost fills the front section of the handset which is 2.8 inches in size & it provides a 262,000 colour display complete with a two hundred & forty pixel by three hundred & twenty pixel screen resolution. The user can enjoy a cartoon user interface on the Samsung M3710 Corby Beat, as well as a smart unlock screen function for security purposes.


Imaging, Media & Entertainment
A two megapixel camera comes with a lens which is situated on the rear of the handset & this imaging feature supports both video recording & still image capturing. The user can record videos at up to 15 frames per second, plus store, save or share their videos depending on the user's requirements. The user can download games on to the Samsung M3710 Corby Beat to enjoy their favourite style of games on the move & this handset supports Java™ games providing a lively style of gaming. A music player supports playback in a variety of formats including MP3, WAV, WMA & eAAC+. There is a music recognition feature which allows the user to find out a name of a song just by recording a few seconds of a song they like the sound of, & the music recognition feature will provide the user with the name of the song, the name of the album the song is from & the name of the artist performing the song. The M3710 Corby Beat has music control keys which allow the user to control their music features with ease. There is an integrated FM radio feature which supports a radio data system providing an onscreen display of information which is relevant to the users chosen radio station. The user can play videos on their phone in MPEG4, H263 & H264.

Communication & Messaging
A call log feature stores a record of recently dialled calls, missed calls & calls received on the phone. The user can access this call log from the touch screen menu & the user can make calls from their stored call records. A built in phone book can hold up to one thousand contact names complete with contact numbers. The user can communicate with friends & family without even making a call by using the handset messaging features which include an instant messaging service, SMS, email service & MMS. The user can choose a messaging service to best suit their messaging needs whether the user need to a share picture, video, or to communicate with others that are online. This handset has many built in call & messaging services which will assist the user on all their communication needs.

Technology & Internet
A fully charged battery will provide three hundred hours of standby time or approximately three hours of GSM talk time. The M3710 Corby Beat has a WAP 2.0 browser & the user can enjoy social network integration on their phone complete with live feeds. This phone comes with a USB connection port which allows the user to use a compatible USB cable to connect to other devices. Its Bluetooth® technology provides a wireless connection option so therefore the user can connect to other devices using a cable free connection when the user needs to transfer data. It supports GPRS & EDGE technology which means the user can enjoy fast speed data transfer rates when transfer data between devices. The M3710 Corby Beat has fifty megabytes of internal memory & there is a memory card expansion slot which can hold up to sixteen gigabytes of external memory. It works over GSM networks 850, 900, 1800 & 1900 which allows the user to experience worldwide network coverage, but this may differ between handsets due to the user chosen network service provider. It is a WiFi® capable phone which means the user can gain access to Internet via a wireless LAN or via a nearby hotspot connection point.
