Our Samsung M2310 Review

The Samsung M2310 is a fabulous looking flip phone which comes with music orientated features which will keep its user entertained at any time of the day or night, wherever the user maybe. The M2310 is from the same Samsung range as the Samsung M2510 & both these handsets offer the user an affordable music phone complete with a wide range of built in features. The M2310 comes in a stylish casing complete with brightly coloured blue section which makes this handset stand out in a crowd on looks alone. On the front section of the handset the user will find a useful external screen which is 1.1 Inch in size when measured corner to corner & this external screen provides a 262k colour display. Beneath the external screen the user will find a circular shaped key which includes music controls which are situated in an easy to locate place on this handset. The front section has a bright blue coloured section which incorporates the external screen & surrounds the circular music key. When the user opens the handset & smooth flip action opening system allows the user to view an internal larger screen & a well spaced out keypad complete with a navigation control & call keys. The internal screen is 2 Inches in size when measured from corner to corner & this screen provides a 240 pixel by 400 pixel screen resolution & a 262k colour display. The Samsung M2310 weight 84.7 grams which is lightweight for a music orientated phone with so many built in features & the overall size is compact due to its flip design which measures 9.3cm tall by 4.5cm wide by 1.76cm deep.

Its integrated music player comes with external music keys which allow the user to control their music when the handset is flip closed & the user to can view their music selection on the external screen. The user can hear the music over the built in speaker system of insert a set of compatible headphones for a personal listening experience. This music player supports music playback in MP3, eAAC+ & WMA format. The Samsung M2310 comes with a music recognition feature which allows the user to find out the name of a song the user hears & records & this music service finds out so much information within seconds. A built in equaliser allows the user to experience the best sound quality on their phone to suit the user's style of music. The M2310 supports polyphonic sound as well as MP3 ringtones & the user can transfer or download new ringtones when desired. An integrated FM radio feature provides the user with a useful & entertaining radio feature which means the user can enjoy listening to their favourite radio music stations, radio chat shows & catch up on latest news including weather reports. The M2310 supports FM recording which allows the user to record & store recording on their phone.

A rechargeable battery allows the user to enjoy up to approximately three hundred & fifty hours of battery standby time or approximately seven & a half hours of talk time. The M2310 is a quad band network handset which works over four GSM networks including GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 which will automatically switch between networks. This handset comes with a USB port which allows the user t connect to other devices using a USB cabled connection between devices when transfer data. The user can also transfer data via a Bluetooth® connection which provides a wireless connection with compatible devices which are to ten metres away from the handset. The Samsung M2310 has nine megabytes of built in memory & supports a memory card slot which means the user can insert a memory card up to eight gigabytes in size. The user can enjoy high speed data transfer rates on the M2310 thanks to the EDGE & GPRS support.

The M2310 has an integrated VGA camera which has a lens located on the back of this flip phone handset & the user can enjoy capturing still pictures & moving video footage on their mobile phone. This handset supports a text messaging service which allows the user to communicate with other compatible SMS contacts without making a call but by creating a message complete with text input which can be sent & stored on the user Samsung M2310. A multimedia message allows the user to share their pictures & video recording via this messaging service which can be created & shred with compatible MMS compatible contacts. This MMS service is a popular & fun way to communicate when the user wishes to share a picture with others to share their experiences. The M2310 has an email service which allows the user to create an email which can be sent to a contacts email address. An integrated WAP 2.0 Internet browser allows the user access the World Wide Web on their handset to search for information & online services.
