Having had mine for 4 months now I can officially say that I cannot recommend it. It's just too fiddly. Can't seem to delete emails from the trash, seems to dial numbers in the phone book at random, never quite sure if a call is finished & generally seems to have a mind of its own. That said, the onscreen keyboard is OK & it isn't made by Apple. Still not keen though.

After owning Nokia & Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years I thought it was time for a change so I went for this one & to be honest at first I thought I had made the wrong choice, but now after a few weeks of getting used to the Android 2.1 system I am really glad I made the choice.

Android takes a bit of getting used to it is so much more flexible & powerful than any of the other mobile operating systems out there & it will take you a little longer to work out but saying that once you start to see the benefits you won't want to change back.

The phone itself is a good size phone fitting nicely in the hand it is so much more responsive than LG & Nokia touch phones & offers thousands of apps or widgets to choose from via the built in market, you can do so much more with this phone it has GPS & Wi-Fi which both work well the display is good & I suggest if you do get this phone download real player via the app market to take on all your multimedia files.

Overall a great phone, but be prepared if your are moving from Nokia or Sony to give yourself time to get used to it, I'll guarantee you'll not want to put the phone down.

This phone is a nightmare to use its difficult to understand & you cannot download anything with Bluetooth from another phone I had to have a factory reset to use the Google element of it. It is as responsive as a lead bar & I am going to take mine back to get another easier phone I can't be stuck with this for 24 months.

I love this phone though it did take a bit of getting used to. It's actually quite weird though because where it works on the Android operating system it is almost exactly like my old G1 but in a Samsung shell! I love all the applications you can download, most of them free. The reason I gave it a lower score for usability is because of the texting. Don't get me wrong, it is easy & it has an intelligent way of predicting what you might be trying to say even with spelling mistakes, the letters ate close together one this QWERTY keyboard so this comes on very handy. But I personally find it almost impossible to do the letter m on the first attempt because the delete button is right next to it & so I keep deleting that letter & therefore get some very strange word suggestions come up. If this is too much of a problem though there is a setting where you can change to a mobile phone keyboard. This is an excellent phone, screen can occasionally be a bit slow to respond & the auto focus on the camera means that there can be a quite annoying delay when taking a photo, this seems a rather common problem with Samsung. But that said, I would definitely recommend this phone. One word of warning though is that if you put in a wrist strap, this does sometimes un attach itself at random.

In general though you cannot go wrong with this nice sized phone. Buy it & see.
