Overview
The Samsung Galaxy Pro has a solid bar style casing complete with a full QWERTY keyboard & a touch screen which makes this Smartphone incredibly user friendly. It supports many technologies which include 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi®, GPS navigation, Bluetooth® & USB connectivity. The Android operating system opens up the Android apps market for the user to enjoy, plus the Galaxy Pro supports an impressive user interface known as TouchWiz version 3.0. This Smartphone is from the same range as the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 & the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, but each handset has its own set of features, capabilities & casing designs. Some features to be enjoyed on the Galaxy Pro include its 3.1 megapixel rear facing camera feature with video options, music player, radio, assortment of messaging & communication services & its built in browser & social network capabilities.

Appearance & Size
It is a classy looking Smartphone which is black & dark silver in colour complete with a textured back case, plus it has a compact but impressive touch screen & a QWERTY keyboard on the front. Its touch screen measures 2.8 inches & has a capacitive display with a 320 pixel by 240 pixel resolution. Its full QWERTY keyboard has raised individual keys which has clearly labelled alphabetic & numeric keys making it a pleasure to use in a single hand. The dual entry methods allow the user to enjoy easy to control touch screen menu selections, plus high speed text entry via the keyboard. The Samsung Galaxy Pro is fairly compact when considering it has both a touch screen & a keyboard on its front section, as it measures 10.86cm in height, 6.67cm in width by 1.07cm in depth & its total weight is 103 grams with its battery installed.


Imaging, Media & Entertainment
There is a front facing camera lens which is ideally used when the user wishes capture a self portrait or when taking part in a face to face video call. Video calling is made possible thanks to the Galaxy Pro being a 3G capable Smartphone. On the back of the handset is a 3.1 megapixel camera lens which supports both still image capturing & video recording capabilities. Video playback & recording can be enjoyed & shared with others easily using this user friendly Smartphone. Music can be heard out loud or the user may prefer a private listening experience using a compatible set of headphones, whichever is preferred the user can enjoy high quality sound from both the integrated FM radio feature & the music player.

Communication & Messaging
This Smartphone provides its user with simplistic methods of communication & this can be gained using the handsets call features which are all easy to access & the selection of messaging services available, plus its touch screen design allows users to make access both call & messaging features quickly using simple touch activated controls. The Galaxy Pro supports social network integration so therefore the user can access their favourite social network Websites & enjoy communication & updates via this popular method of networking. Many call features can be enjoyed on the Smartphone & managed easily which include an integrated phone book holding all contacts details, a call log which stores a list of calls dialled, received & missed, easy to access call keys & a hands free speaker feature for a loud call experience.

Technology & Internet
The user can expand their handset memory capabilities by inserting a memory card which is up to 32 gigabytes in size, but the Samsung Galaxy Pro comes with a 2 gigabyte card included with the handset & has five hundred & twelve megabytes of internal memory ready to use. The Galaxy Pro is a Wi-Fi® Smartphone which means a cable free connection between the Smartphone & a nearby hub or hotspot can be gained allowing the user to access the Web on their travels, also the Web browser is extremely user friendly which has a Google™ search facility & provides YouTube™ compatible browsing. 3G network connectivity provides high speed connectivity when required so therefore the user can talk over both a 3G or a GSM network & the handset will switch between networks depending on the users requirements. Approximately eleven hours of talk time can be gained from a fully charged battery when the Smartphone is operating over a GSM network. The Smartphone come with GPS which allows the user to use an assisted GPS navigation feature to find out directions to new locations & a useful map view can be enjoyed thanks to Google™ maps. To connect to other devices the user can use either a wireless Bluetooth® connection or a micro USB cabled connection, therefore allowing the user to transfer data between the two connected devices at high speeds thanks to the handsets EDGE technology & GPRS supports.
