The Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 is a 3G Smartphone which comes with a sleek designed casing and an assortment of integrated features. The Galaxy Ace S5830 is a mid range Samsung Smartphone which comes from the same range as the popular Samsung Galaxy I5800 Apollo and the impressive Samsung Galaxy I5500 Europa handsets. The Galaxy Ace S5830 runs an Android operating system version 2.2 and its user can enjoy the TouchWiz user interface version 3.0. Its many features and technologies allows its user to communicate with others, stay entertained, browse the Web and most of all, enjoy a fun and stylish touch screen Smartphone. Its technologies include 3G, Bluetooth®, EDGE, GPS and Wi-Fi®, plus it has an integrated five megapixel camera along with a video and music player for entertainment.

Appearance & Size
This desirable Smartphone has a sophisticated designed touch screen form casing which is available in a cool white colour or a sleek black colour. It has a chrome effect edging with smooth sides and surface which makes it feel good to hold when in use. Its size is pocket friendly measuring 11.24cm by 5.99cm by 1.15cm and it will not weigh the user down when carrying this Smartphone as it weighs 113 grams with its battery installed. The Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 has an impressive touch screen which measures 3.5 inches diagonally and offers the user a sixteen million colour display screen. A rectangle navigation control key is placed beneath the touch screen and allows the user to experience navigation control as well as touch screen controls. Music can be played on the integrated music player or the user may prefer to listen to the radio on their handset. A FM tuner allows the user to tune into their preferred radio station to enjoy news, weather, music, chat shows and much more. Video playback is possible on the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 and the user can enjoy viewing video clips as entertainment. The camera feature allows the user to capture and record those special moments in time by recording a video or taking a still photo. The built in five megapixel camera comes with many imaging options including a LED flash, geo tagging feature, automatic focus and photo settings.

High speed data transfer rates can be gained thanks to EDGE and GPRS technologies. The Galaxy Ace S5830 comes with a memory card slot which can hold up to 32 gigabytes of external memory, plus it has 158 megabytes of internal memory and the handset comes with a 2 gigabytes memory card to get the user started. This Smartphone works over 3G HSDPA and quad band GSM networks plus the handset will switch between networks to provide the user with the network coverage required. Up to 6.5 hours of talk time over a 3G network or up to 11 hours of talk time over a GSM network can be gained from a fully charged battery. For the users convenience and day to day use there is a built in GPS navigation feature with assisted GPS and Google maps support. Accessing the Web to find out information, news, and much more is possible via the built in Web browser which comes complete with easy to use touch screen controls and a Google search, plus Wi-Fi® technology allows the user to gain a Wi-Fi® connection to a nearby hotspot of wireless LAN providing cable free access to the Web.

I love this phone, even though I have only had it a few days but the main reason I brought another Samsung was so it would have the repeating text alert feature but so far this one does not seem to have this. Having said that I would not swap it, it is a great phone.
