This slide opening 3G phone has a fashionable & subtly designed casing which comes in a stunning silver colour. The Samsung C5510 has a compact & versatile design which makes is a highly user friendly when in use & also easy to carry when not in use. Its overall dimensions are 9.98cm high by 4.75cm wide by 1.53cm deep when in its slide closed position but when its slide open position the casing is extended to a taller height. The casing complete with fitted battery weighs 99.6 grams in total which is lightweight without feeling flimsy to hold in the users hand. The user can view the 2.2 Inch colour screen when the casing is either closed or open & this screen supports a two hundred & forty pixel by three hundred & twenty pixel screen resolution for the user to enjoy colourful & clear images, photos & videos on their 3G phone. The user can enjoy controlling their menu selections & built in features using the centrally positioned navigation control key, which is located just beneath the colour screen on the top section of this slider phone. When the user wishes to access the keypad then the user can simply slide open the casing in a single handed movement to input text & enjoy high speed numeric input on this well presented keypad.

A built in radio feature allows the user to search & listen to their favourite FM radio station on their phone. The user can use the RDS function to view on screen text information which is provided by the radio station whilst the user is listening to their chosen radio station. The Samsung C5510 also comes with a built in music playing feature allowing its user to enjoy mobile music entertainment on the move & the user can transfer their own CD's on to their phone using the connectivity methods available. This player supports popular music formats which include MP3, WMA & AAC formats & the user can enjoy a high quality music playing experience on their C5510. This handset comes with preloaded games & supports a Java™ gaming experience which allows the user to enjoy fast moving games on the Samsung C5510.

The user will find a camera lens located on the back of the casing which provides the user with a two megapixel digital camera feature waiting to be enjoyed. This two megapixel camera comes with a built in smile detection feature which will ensure the user captures a happy shot each time this camera feature is used. The user can select the automatic focus feature will automatically focus each photo taken to ensure the user captures a clear & precise shot. The camera also supports video recording capabilities which allow the user to capture those fun moments in their day as full colour moving video footage. The Samsung C5510 supports video playing in popular formats including MPEG4, H263, H264, WMV & the user can enjoy a high quality video playing experience on this compact slider phone. The C5510 makes communicating with others a breeze as the user can use a selection of call features when making or receiving a call which provides the user with the best possible call experience. The user can create & share a variety of messages with compatible contacts which is a quick & easy way to stay in touch with others without even making a call. This phone support a text messaging service otherwise known as SMS messaging which is a message containing text which can be shared between SMS compatible users. A multimedia messaging service which is better known as MMS messaging allows the user to share a message containing text, sound with either a picture or a short video recording which can be shared between compatible contacts, & an email service allows the user to communicate with other via email on their phone.

This stunning slide opening handset comes with internal memory which is twenty megabytes in size & the user can add an external memory card in the form of a MicroSD™ type memory card which can provide up to sixteen gigabytes of external memory for the user to enjoy. The Samsung C5510 supports GPRS & EDGE technology which allows the user to enjoy high speed data transfer rates when transferring files between their handset & other devices. Its built in 3G technology allows the user to gain fast connectivity on their phone whilst also supporting HSCSD technology. The phone works over a UMTS 900, UMTS 2100 3G networks & covers GSM network bands including GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 networks so therefore the user can enjoy worldwide roaming with this handset. The overall network coverage is dependent on the user's network service provider so therefore the coverage may vary between handsets. The Samsung C5510 comes with a fitted battery which is a rechargeable type battery & when fully charged the user can experience up to approximately 4.5 hours of 3g talk time or up to 8 hours of GSM talk time. The user can connect to other devices using either a Bluetooth® wireless connection or by using a USB cabled connection, depending on the user's needs & the connectivity options available on the connecting devices. An integrated WAP browser allows the user to access the Web from their handset & the user can access this feature easily via the main menu.

This is the second Samsung phone I've used. It's very feature packed, could do with a flash for the camera, otherwise a very good all round phone that I would recommend.
