This attractive slider phone has been manufactured by Samsung & supports a selection of easy to use communication features. The Samsung C3050 (C3053) is known as the Samsung C3053 & as the Samsung C3053 depending on supplier & region. It is a good looking mobile phone complete with an easily opened slide opening mechanism designed casing. Its main features include an integrated VGA camera, radio & music player, plus its user can enjoy Internet access on their mobile phone & Bluetooth® wireless connectivity.
Appearance & Size
When the Samsung C3050 (C3053) is in its slide closed form the user can view the two inch colour screen & access the large square shaped navigation control key complete with easy to reach call & menu keys. Its screen has a one hundred & twenty pixel by one hundred & sixty pixel screen resolution, plus the user can view up to sixty five thousand colours on their screen. The user can slide open their casing to reveal the keypad which comes complete with useable embedded alphanumeric keys. The Samsung C3050 (C3053) comes is a dark grey coloured casing with chrome affects which highlight the call & menu keys. Its overall size is 9.7cm by 4.73cm by 1.49cm when in its slide closed position. This stylish slider phone weighs a total of eighty six grams which makes it lightweight for carrying purposes.



There is a built in radio feature which allows the user of the C3050 (C3053) to experience music entertainment whilst on the move. This radio feature allows the user to listen to their favourite FM radio station to hear new music, travel updates & world news. There is an integrated music player which supports MP3 format music playback & the user can transfer new music or their CD's onto their mobile phone using the phones connectivity options. Ringtones can be downloaded or transferred onto the Samsung C3050 (C3053) in either MP3 or polyphonic format. The user will find a rear facing camera complete with a VGA camera lens allowing the user to take photos or record video clips on their mobile phone.
Communication & Messaging
The C3050 (C3053) comes with a call log which allows the user to view a list of recent calls made from the phone, made to the phone or any missed calls. The phone book is easily accessed from the main menu using the menu selection keys & this book stores all the user's contact names & numbers. A speaker call feature allows the user to rest their mobile phone on their desk or lap whilst on a call as the user will hear their contact over the phones speakers. A selection of messaging services provide the user with another method of communication using either a multimedia picture message service, email service or a text message service. The C3050 (C3053) supports predictive text which means the user can create text messages at higher speeds as each word is predicted as the user begins to type it.
Technology & Internet
This mobile phone works over quad band networks which covers GSM 850, 900, 1800 & 1900 networks, plus the phone will automatically switch between networks to provide the best network coverage. There is fifteen megabytes of internal memory & this Samsung slider phone supports a memory card slot which can hold up to eight gigabytes of memory via a compatible memory card. A WAP 2.0 Internet browser provides a XHTML Web experience complete with Openwave. Its Bluetooth® wireless technology means the user can connect to other Bluetooth® devices to transfer ringtones, photos & video clips from device to device. A fully charged battery can provide an estimated three hundred & forty hours of standby time or an estimated seven hours of talk time.

This is an awesome phone. A got it on Friday 10th September so have had it for 25 days now & found no fault with it. Brilliant Sound, Great Radio, Outstanding clear screen & nice games.

Love this phone its great! Great sound for music & if you download opera mini quick Internet great for facebook. Battery is alright & the phone only cost me £19.95 from Carphone Warehouse.
