This slide opening 3G Smartphone comes with a slide out full QWERTY keyboard which allows the user to input text at high speed. The Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro is a great handset to suit all users business & personal requirements for a mobile phone. The B7610 Omnia Pro is from the same Samsung Omnia family as the Samsung B7320 Omnia Pro which is another stunning 3G Smartphone but with differing features. A beautifully clear AMOLED touch screen fills the front section of this slider phone & provides a high colour display with a eight hundred pixel by four hundred & eighty pixel screen resolution. The Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro comes with one gigabyte of built in memory & this stylish Smartphone has a memory card slot which allows the user to insert a MicroSD™ type memory card up to thirty two gigabytes in size. The overall shape of the casing is compact when considering it has a slide out QWERTY keyboard & a large 3.2 Inch touch screen. It weighs 159 grams which gives it a solid feel & it measures 11.26cm tall by 5.78cm wide by 1.62cm deep. It has a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system & the user can enjoy a user friendly interface on their touch screen.

On the front of the handset is a discrete camera lens which is ideal when the user wishes to talk part in a two way video call as the camera will capture the user's expressions whilst the user can view their contact on the large touch screen display. A video call provides an easy way to enjoy a face to face call experience & allows the user to enjoy this feature with all compatible 3G video calling contacts. The Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro comes with a five megapixel digital camera & the user can use the built in camera & video features to capture a still photo or to record a video. The user can edited photo & use a geo tagging feature to store the location of where each picture was captured. A built in photo album allows the user to store all their best & favourite pictures on their Smartphone. This five megapixel camera complete with an auto focus feature & a LED flash which will add light to the photo being captured. When the user is capturing & recording video the user can use easy to access controls which turns the Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro into a portable digital video camera. The user can play video in popular video formats which allows the user to playback video which has been recorded by the user, sent from others & transferred from other devices. The user can playback video in MPEG4, 3GP format, H263, H264, DivX format & XviD video format.


This 3G Smartphone supports polyphonic sound as well as MP3 ringing tones. The B7610 Omnia Pro has a music playing feature which allows the user to playing music in MP3, AAC, eAAC+, WAV & WMA music format. The user can transfer their music onto their Smartphone for a mobile listening experience or download new music from the Web. This handset supports DNSe sound which is a digital natural sound engine & allows the user to enjoy high quality sound with natural effects. An integrated radio provides an FM tuning experience & comes with a RDS feature which provides text information on the touch screen. The text information is provided by the radio station & can be read by the user when the user is listening to their favourite radio station. The Samsung B7610 Omnia Pro supports Java™ games & the user can download games to suit their gaming taste.

A WAP Web browser supports a XHTML & HTML Web experience & the use can also enjoy a mobile email service on their B7610 Omnia Pro complete with RSS support. The user can stay in contact with friends & family using the built in messaging services which includes an online instant messaging service. An instant messaging service works like an online text chat between friends & this service can be enjoyed by instant messaging compatible contacts. This service is similar to an instant messaging service the user may be familiar with on their computer. The B7610 Omnia Pro supports a text messaging service known as SMS messaging & this message can contain text & symbols which can be shared with SMS compatible contacts. A MMS service is a messaging service which can be shared with compatible contacts & a message can contain a picture or a video clip with text & with sound or music.

The 3G HSDPA technology & HSCSD allow the user to experience fast connectivity on their touch screen handset. The B7610 Omnia Pro supports WLAN Wi-Fi® technology which allows the user to connect their Smartphone to a wireless LAN in the office or at home to gain a connection to the Internet, & the user can even connect to a hotspot using Wi-Fi® technology when the user is out & about & on the move. The user can enjoy roaming world wide as this handset covers GSM quad band & HSDPA 900 & 2100. The user can enjoy a business & personal mode on their Smartphone as well as supporting a business card scanner feature. The user can connect to other devices using a USB cabled connection or by using a Bluetooth® wireless connection. A built in A GPS navigation feature allows the user to find new locations complete with directions & a built in document viewer allows the user to view documents in many formats including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & PDF format documents.
