Overview
The Samsung B3410W Ch@t is a mobile phone which has been designed complete with easy communication features such as call features, messaging features & social network Internet access. This mobile phone has a slide opening QWERTY keyboard but its stylish touch screen provides its touch screen form casing. The Samsung B3410W Ch@t is from the same Samsung family as the highly popular Samsung B3410 which is another communication focused messaging phone. The B3410W Ch@t comes with the added benefit of its WiFi® connectivity allowing the user to access the Internet via a wireless LAN or via a nearby hotspot. The B3410W Ch@t supports a stunning TouchWiz user interface version 2.0 & the user can access all their phones features using smooth touch screen controls. Its integrated features include a user friendly Internet browser, a wide selection of fun messaging services, 2 megapixel camera, video player, radio & a music player.

Appearance & Size
Its touch screen design is not only user friendly but it adds to the handsets overall stylish & fashionable look. Its casing is mostly black in colour but it has subtle chrome effect accents which surround the edging of the casing & highlight the navigation control key. The front section of this mobile phone is almost filled by its 2.6 inch colour TFT touch screen & its curvaceous shaped navigation control, complete with call keys situated either side. Its slide out QWERTY keyboard slides smoothly from beneath the touch screen section of the handset & appears from the left hand side. The user can use the touch screen keypad when inputting numeric text but the slide out QWERTY keyboard is ideal for messaging & larger amounts of text input. The Samsung B3410W Ch@t has a solid feel casing which measures 10.3cm by 5.25 cm by 1.62cm & it weighs a total of 113.7 grams.


Imaging, Media & Entertainment
This fashionable messaging phone supports a fun gaming experience which means the user can enjoy games on their mobile phone for entertainment. There is a built in 2 megapixel camera complete with a lens situated on the back of the casing. This feature supports many imaging orientated functions which allow the user to capture either a still photo or to record videos on their mobile phone at fifteen frames per second. It has an automatic focus function which means each photo captured will be clear & in focus. The video recording capabilities allows the user of the Samsung B3410W Ch@t to capture moving footage as well as still. It has a built in FM radio with RDS support which provides a visual information display whilst the user is listening to their favourite station & there is a music playing feature which supports easy to use music settings. The user can play their music in many formats including MP3, WAV, WMA & eAAC+.

Communication & Messaging
There is a call log feature which is accessible from the main menu & will store up to thirty of the most recent missed calls, dialed calls & calls received. The Samsung B3410W Ch@t has a built in speaker which allows the user to enjoy chatting to friends over the phones microphone & speakers for a hands free call. There is an easy to manage phone book which stores all the user contacts details & the user can access their contacts from the phone book or directly from the messaging services. The Samsung B3410W Ch@t supports WiFi® technology which allows its user to gain a connection to the Web via a hotspot connection or via a wireless LAN depending on the user's location & the connectivity available. The phone comes with two memory options which include a 1 gigabyte option or a 2 gigabyte internal memory option. There is a memory card expansion slot which allows the user to insert a MicroSD™ type memory card which is up to 16 gigabytes in size. There is a WAP browser & the user can enjoy a Google search facility complete with social network website compatibility & widgets. The Samsung B3410W Ch@t works over quad band GSM networks & will automatically switch between GSM bands. The user can use their handset worldwide thanks to its quad band supports but network coverage may change depending on the user's network service provider. The battery provided with the mobile phone can provide approximately 450 hours of standby time or 3 hours of talk time when fully charged. Its Bluetooth® technology allows the user to connect to other Bluetooth® compatible devices when the user wishes to transfer data without the use of cables. The user can gain a Bluetooth® connection with devices which are up to ten meters apart from the B3410W Ch@t. There is a USB connection point on the handset so therefore the user can use a cabled connection between their phone & other USB compatible devices if required.
