I bought my phone at Christmas time & I have to say it is the biggest waste of money I have spent it's been back three times for repair & is still playing up so it's got to back again.

It is getting to the point when I don't want to use my phone because it's too hard to use.

All I can say is do not buy this phone.

I love this phone because its really easy to use & you can text using either the touch screen or QWERTYkeypad. The only thing I would like to add to it would be more games that weren't all the trial versions.

I absolutely love this phone! I Got It For My Birthday & It's Amazing :) the Only Thing I Wish My Phone Had Is the App To Change the Different Fonts (If You Know What I Mean) & Sometimes I Have To Press the Touch Screen Twice. The Good Thing Is That the QWERTY Keyboard Is Really Easy To Catch On :) Buy This Phone, Its Well cool!

I found the best feature in this phone was the touch screen, I find it easier to use than any other touch phone I've used. I believe that the problems some of the others have had is due to their very phone, not the model in its entirety.

I had this phone for like 5 months now, & I absolutely love it! It has the perfect combination, touch screen & a QWERTY keyboard from the side! Perfect for massive texters like myself! Seeing this is my first SAMSUNG ever (I am more of a Sony Ericsson person), it is way better than I thought it would be! The two demo games that it comes with are the perfect touch screen games & despite its not a Full touch screen like the Tocco, it responds in a one touch rather than the hard pressing response, & the camera is fine for me :).

The only thing that I sometimes have problems with is the Internet but I barely use it anyway :).

I bought my B3410 about 5 months ago. This phone has lots of functionalities, & the QWERTY keyboard is very interesting. However, the usability design is not very good, because it is difficult to find some of the functionalities sometimes. Also, the touch screen is appearing some problems, the phone cannot detect some of the spaces on screen when touched by a user.

I got this phone 29 days ago it has already been return & replaced once due to the touch screen not working properly it also kept locking all the time so I had the hand set replace the keypad is rubbish it doesn't work very well & you have to press the buttons really hard the touch screen isn't much better as it doesn't work to great standards & after all this I had my phone in my pocket got it out & the screen has cracked all the way across the shop refuse to return it saying there has been a lot of pressure applied to then screen with is not the case this just shows that the screens are not very strong even though there a touch screen. Don't NOT BUY THIS phone REGARDLESS OF the PRICE, ITS A TOTAL RUBBISH HANDSET.

I purchased this phone recently, I am not overly fussed on the camera or touch screen but in combination with the keypad the touch screen works like a charm, they do take some getting used to when you've not used them before, but it was still only a day or two before I was 'on it'.

The 2MP camera is more than enough for me so am happy with that, a light would have been a bonus but there you go, video is OK but I do miss the video editor from a Sony Ericsson handset I had previously.

I paid £90 & am more than happy with this purchase, I think it's priced very well & do prefer the way the Samsung handsets do look, my wife has a Samsung too & they seem to be able to cater for both the boys & girls.

The UI is good, icons look great, 2 different themes available & I demoed a Tocco when that first came out (but didn't like it) & it reminds me of that with the widgets etc. The UI is similar to the wife's phone too (not surprising they are both within the same price range bracket).

My last phone was a Sony Ericsson & the transition has been fine, some bits seem slightly fiddlier but it's not a problem.

Overall I am very happy with the features, sound clarity on playback of mp3s, taking calls etc.

Recommended, it's a nice mixture & nice idea with the sideways slider feature.

Have had this phone for 2 weeks now & on the upside, for someone who rarely takes pictures the 2MP camera is adequate. I find the QUERTY keyboard sometimes annoying as the keys are spaced very close together, but still usable & handy for texting.

3mm jack & space for 8GB SD card is a godsend for listening to my music, HOWEVER, the only way to directly sync files from your PC to phone is by the optional use of a 3.5mm jack to USB data cable (not provided in the box, still looking for one online!)

But I agree with Harii in India, the touch screen is a nightmare! Not only do you have to press hard, sometimes it won't even work when pressed, the only way to work is to slide out & slide in the keypad, then it works! EG I was phoning work, had to select options on call (press 1 to speak to. Etc), going to press the number, you have to slide keypad out & then select touch screen keypad all while trying to still listen to options!

Overall I'd give it 7 out of 10, but I am pretty laid back, someone else may give it 1. Be warned! Try to get a demo in store first.

Great phone for someone who is looking for a keypad, phone is a nice price. I wasn't that into touch screen, but it is okay.

The keypad isn't easy & you have to press hard but it's something you have to get used to.

Battery could have been a bit better, but I guess nothing can compete against my old Nokia.

If you're looking for a touch screen & keypad, this is a great phone for an amazing price!

If you are looking forward to buying the phone I would highly recommend not to, I was one of the first users at my place to have bought this phone. But I tell you this phone is bad. Here are the Merits & Faults that I experienced:

Merits
- Good pricing, I bought it for around 8400.
- Stylish keypad feature.
- Touch sensitivity.
- Widget feature.
- Screen clarity.

Faults & Demerits.
- Can't access any other application while running java application & even the Internet. I.e. If you want to access the music player or any other thing while you are accessing a java application it won't be possible.
- the conversation feature seems to be good, but when you have say more than 100 messages in your inbox choosing the conversation option, the phone will get stuck & you will have to restart it.
- the qwerty keypad is not that good. You have to press it hard to get the impressions as in some china replicate phones.
- the phone get switched off at times without any reason (especially while using applications).
- A part of my touch screen is not working. There is absolutely no response on clicking a certain portion of it.
- the upper portion of the phone shakes a lot on the rail. Many say that it can definitely lead to problems in the near future.
- While running the music player you won't be able to access any of the other utilities. Even going back to the play list will stop the music being played.

I experienced many of the listed defects right from the beginning. Many other started slowly. I am not ready to take any more chances. I am planning to return the set at the service centre as soon as possible. So friends if you planning to buy this handset please do think over it again. Harii.

When looking at a model dummy in my local mobile phone retailer I thought the qwerty buttons seemed a bit difficult to use compared to other qwerty devices as they did not seem to protrude as much. But I bought the phone anyway & I love it! The keypad gets really easy to get on to & becomes a joy to text with. The touch screen can get a bit a bit annoying but nothing major that would make me doubt my purchase, I am not a fan of touch screens anyway (not even iPhone).

It looks absolutely fantastic & the slide out keypad always impresses friends. I believe the price (£100) is very reasonable & fair, I would not pay anymore & any less would be a bargain. Perfect for late teens in my opinion, similar to LG QWERTY phones except less feminine looking & due to it being Samsung means reliable too!

Only con is the lack of camera flash & unimpressive 2MP camera, but still better picture quality than my previous Samsung phone which was also 2MP, so MP isn't everything.

This phone is great. I bet your thinking, what a business phone but that's where you're wrong. This phone is child friendly with a cheap value of £99.99. It is a social networking device with a qwerty keyboard, a 3.2 mega pixel camera & Samsung's usual widget UI home screens. The only things this phone lacks are an FM radio, 3G & Wi-Fi but do children need such stuff? No! A lovely Christmas present for your child & with a cheap price, we have the money to buy ourselves something as well!
