O2 XDA Atmos 3G SmartPhone Review

The O2 XDA Atmos is a 3G Smartphone which comes in a matt black coloured casing & in a compact casing when considering all the built in capabilities of this 3G Smartphone. The overall size & weight of the handset make the XDA Atmos easy for the user to operate & carry with them at all times. It weighs 150 grams & is 19.4mm deep by 105.8mm tall by 51mm wide. This 3G Smartphone comes with a large 65k colour screen which has a screen resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels. The colour screen is 2.4 Inches in size when measured diagonally & with the numeric keypad fills the front of the casing. The numeric keypad allows the user to access the keypad quickly as it is located on the front of the handset so therefore the user can input contact numbers & create messages using this keypad. The 3G Smartphone comes with a smooth & easy to use navigation tool which is situated directly beneath the 2.4 Inch colour screen & allows the user to smoothly glide through menus & feature options. The O2 XDA Atmos also comes with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard which allows the user to use their 3G Smartphone like a mini computer. The slide out keyboard can be accessed from the right hand side of the handset & allows the user to create messages, emails & type at higher speeds using this input method.

The XDA Atmos comes with a mobile email service which allows the user to enjoy high speed email delivery directly to the 3G Smartphone. The user can create, edit, forward, send & delete emails just like they would do on their computer. This stylish 3G Smartphone supports multimedia messaging which allows the user to enjoy sharing pictures & video clips with other multimedia messaging compatible users. The user can enjoy fast access to the World Wide Web thanks to the built in 3G technology & WiFi connectivity on the O2 XDA Atmos. The user can surf the Web for the latest news, weather & many online stores or services. The Atmos supports WAP XHTML & HTML browsing. A rechargeable battery when fully charged can provide the user with up to 384 hours of standby battery time but when in the use the user can enjoy approximately 4 hours of 3G talk time or approximately 7 hours of GSM talk time.

The user can enjoy wide network coverage as the O2 XDA Atmos is a quad band 3G Smartphone which covers four GSM networks but the full network coverage is dependent on the user's network provider. The Atmos works over GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900 & supports UMTS coverage. The operating system is Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ version 6 which provides the user with a user friendly Smartphone interface & capabilities. The user can view documents in many popular software formats which include Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® PowerPoint & Microsoft® Excel. The 3G technology allows the user to enjoy high speed connectivity, fast Internet connections & 3G video calling on the XDA Atmos. There is a small camera which is located on the front of the handset which allows the user to take part in a 3G video call with other compatible video calling contacts. The O2 XDA Atmos is a WiFi compatible handset which allows the user to connect to the Internet without using a cabled connection. The user can use WiFi technology to connect their 3G Smartphone to either a local WiFi connection or a nearby WiFi hotspot. The user can connect their O2 XDA Atmos to other devices using a USB cabled connection or transfer files wirelessly using a Bluetooth® connection to transfer files to other compatible devices which up to 10 meters away from the Atmos handset.

The O2 XDA Atmos 3G Smartphone comes with sixty four megabytes of ROM memory, two hundred & fifty six megabytes of RAM memory & also has an optional memory card slot which allows the user to extend their Smartphone's memory capabilities further for more storage. The Atmos comes with entertainment features as well as business focused features so this phone will suit personal Smartphone users & business users alike. A built in music player supports high quality sound & allows the user to play popular music file formats for listening pleasure. An integrated camera feature allows the user to capture still pictures as well as moving video clips on the O2 XDA Atmos. The camera is a 2 Megapixel camera complete with easy to use camera & video setting to ensure the user captures their memories just the way they want to. The user can store their pictures & video clips in the galleries or share them with others via the messaging services. The O2 XDA Atmos will offer its user an ultimate business solution on the move as well as user friendly entertainment features.
