Got this phone two years ago. Minimal features which is what I wanted. Cameras are great, MP3 player worked with no issues. Display easy enough to read. Volume could have been better. It is only now that I have started experiencing problems downloading photos but for the price & reliability I think I am going to battle to find a suitable replacement.

I love this phone. I got a black Ice on eBay for £32 & I love the fact that once you get a memory card you can use the phone as an MP3 player, for someone like me who rarely leaves the house without a phone or MP3 player its perfect as the one thing does both.

The sound is a little quiet if playing music through the phone speakers, but that doesn't bother me too much as I don't feel the need to go around holding the phone & blaring out music wherever I go.

I love the fact that the headphones are also a hands-free kit. I have a blue ice Bluetooth hands-free, but I have never felt comfortable with a bit of plastic looped around my ear, so the headset if a much better option.

I haven't tried the video calling yet as I am waiting for O2 to send me a 3G sim card, but having previously owned a Sony Ericsson Z520i with virtually no memory & very quiet ringtones, the O2 Ice is a 100% improvement.

It looks good & it works well, what more can you ask for?

The only drawback is if it is genuine then it is OK but as we know in India there is no genuine material provided by the company. If you alter the things like downloading or deleting with provided cable & software it goes off to the air, it breaks.

I have had this phone for some time, about a year now & at first I thought Gee Wizz. A great phone but now. I am not so sure.

The camera is. Well OK BUT after a while the screen got fuzzy & broke so I took it back to get repaired. After the THIRD time of this I think it is a faulty in the phone.

I am now getting the Sony Ericsson W580i. I recommend to not really get this phone if you loooove your gadgets!

It's got good stuff on it & I was pleased when I first got it, it looks pretty cool, though white is a bit boring & gets mucky quickly, plus I have loads of games on it which is good & now for the cons:

- I can't get into the pictures folder, it just says WAITING.
- Some games don't load, some start right from the beginning even though I have saved them.
- Far too quiet, I just put it on silent all the time now because what is the point putting your ringtones on when you can't hear them.
- Doesn't tell you when you have run out of space for messages, until you have typed one & tried to send it & it say's no memory.
- It only records one half of a conversation, so I know what other people have said but not what I said, the two need to go together for evidence.
- Keypad doesn't respond well half the time, so my texts don't make sense.
- It freezes a lot & I have to take the battery out.
- It says RECOVERING a lot, usually in the middle of phone calls.
- Can't get the software for it off the Internet (what if you lose the disc).
- It has deleted rather important phone numbers.
- I have to charge it every single night (no matter how much, or little, I have used it. No good for camping).

All in all, I did like it & still sort of do like it, it just doesn't work well & it's the only phone I haven't thrown against walls, maybe I need to do that.

When I first got this phone I was quite pleased. Did everything I needed it to & got a good deal on it too. Camera is brilliant & quite easy to text with, however 6 months later & the story is very different.

When texting the buttons frequently do not register. Occasionally the dam thing freezes & the only way to sort it out is to take the battery out the back. Now the call answer & reject buttons don't work, so to end a call I must remove the battery. Also can't view call logs as this requires using the green button. Phone is rubbish.

Don't waste your time with this phone, it is the worst handset I have had the displeasure of owning over the last 7 years of having a mobile. The software on it has failed twice now since January & even though the nice people at O2 replace it free each time, it is a like for like exchange therefore problems are reoccurring.

Texting is hard as the keys are not user friendly & 50% of the time it doesn't register your touch. When your inbox / sent message folder are all full up it won't tell you this, until you have finished texting the message you are on & ready to send - & you can't send it because there is not enough memory! (for those of us you like not to delete messages till you have to).

There is also no option of changing the display on the phone e.g. a different colour scheme / font etc. One of the main cons is that the overall maximum volume level of the phone is unbelievably low. I have had missed calls because of failing to hear the handset ring. My call register section of the phone has now stopped working e.g. no log of missed calls / dialled numbers etc & to top it all off it looks like a lady shaver. I think O2 have actually stopped manufacturing the O2 ice now but beware of the inevitable replacement.

When I first saw this phone with my wife, I thought it would be a great phone. With great features such as video calling, 3GP & also MP3 it was worth the £60. But as soon as I brought this phone within 2 weeks my wife had problems. Sending international messages was a nightmare & that problem still occurs today. While sending an international message, she types it up but I received it blank. She cannot add any other characters or emotions as this will send it blank. Also this phone has a bad habit of freezing. It freezes for no reason & takes a while to set up. Also when this phone is put on charge it switches off, also the volume isn't good. All I can say is that this phone is a nightmare.

I have had this phone a while now & although I must admit that the sound is not the best, especially for messages, it has all the features you would expect on a phone costing almost double what this cost. Also downloading songs onto the phone is an impossible task & multimedia messages seem to get lost in space & never received. Although you are getting a phone with all these features it is worth spending a little bit more & going for a phone that you will enjoy & have no problems with. This is only my opinion but I hope it helps you in finding your ideal one.

To save songs on your micro SD memory card (the phone can hold a maximum of 1GB) you need to format the card first on your computer (e.g. Using an adapter in a card reader) using FAT (NOT! FAT 32), place in your phone, let the phone recognize it. Remove it again, add your songs. Hey presto!

Got this phone last December, & if I was writing the review then it would have been a lot better. The slim design is great for your pocket & is very light-weight. The only thing I would have said was wrong with it is volume has always been terrible & I have missed many calls.

Now though I would say it's the worst phone I've ever owned. The sound file won't open, it just constantly says 'waiting' so I am now stuck with the annoying O2 theme tune as my ringtone & can't access any downloads & whenever I have a missed call (which I do regularly with the volume! ) the calls log remains empty.

Overall, if you want a phone that looks good, but doesn't actually work, buy this!

I think this is a great phone for the price but as it gets older the problems worsen.

1. The volume is too low but that's been a problem from the start but with the headphones in it's alright.

2. It doesn't let me send anything via Bluetooth it just comes up with ' recovering' & restarts the phone automatically .

3. Its not very well made but what do you expect when it's only 69.99.

But apart from that it has all the things you want on the phone but the 3G only worked in Spain for me but I hardly ever use that so its alright.

Cheers xxx

I've had this phone for a few months now (previously had a RAZR V3) & the phone's design is a bit simple for me even when I opted for the Limited Ice Blue colour. The features are generally good apart from maybe the lack of a radio, infra-red & I can only get 3G in Edinburgh & Glasgow. The phone also crashes when I try to delete a high amount of text messages from my inbox but then turns back on & is fine again. The volume of the phone is also very low & sound quality is poor when playing videos. Also it deletes numbers from my Phonebook that I have just added when I turn it off & back on again. The usability is good with well laid out menus & varieties of options when it comes to texting/MMS'ing. Good phone but let down with a few flaws. Overall: 65%

This is a cool phone. The features are excellent! OK memory, good picture & video quality. Fits slimly into pocket & is light. Only problem is it is sooo quiet, I chose the loudest sound possible & I still could barely hear it! I have to constantly check it to see if I have a call or message! Other than volume it's a great phone.

Absolutely the best phone around, straight out of box & put into use! It is stylish & cool. The screen is very bright & the effects are great! The video calling & camera are fantastic & the camera can swap from back of phone to the front. Which may I add not many mobile have the facility! The phone is great to hold it's sleek & light, especially considering it has the 3G faculty inbuilt. This phone has everything I need, it is in my opinion.

This phone is the best because the colour is great & fashionable but it's a bit of a girly phone. The volume is a low even if you put it on loud. But it's still the best phone I've ever had.

This is no lie I have never seen a phone so nice with all the features that fits nicely into your jeans or whatever, it has a 262k colour screen which with the white phone & blue background as you switch it on really stands out. Another good feature is the camera which takes pictures plus video's which has frame's different shoot sounds & different colours. Also the Bluetooth switches on & stays on & visible for as long as you want (not like Motorola's). The pictures are a very good quality & you can play them back as a slideshow which is great also you can zoom to show how big the picture is properly.

Great phone for the price, however there is loading time even to access sms. It also lacks the ability to install java files for some reason

Sometimes with no offence, a great phone isn't always the best. You see, I had a Sony Ericsson k800i it was totally awesome, had everything - just one of the best phones I have had. However, the joystick always sticks, the keypads small, & it just makes you damn right mad.

Now, call it what you like, but this little phone has the look, style, & everything you like. I like its simplicity because you know what they say 'it's an art to keep it simple' O2 have done it. With this little device, you don't only have a camera/vid but you have memory slot, you have video calling 3G, you have what you want on this little thing mp3s etc. The one thing I would say is the speaker isn't loud enough - ringtones are not always clear but it's good with Midi files & wavs. I love how the little O2 logo lights up in electric blue when someone calls. Overall if you are looking for a fun phone & something that looks great - get O2 Ice. It's also very sturdy & fits perfectly in your wallet or handbag I guess!
