I recently purchased the Nokia N92, which appears to be an extremely rare mobile phone here in the UK. There was only one on eBay & I liked the screen & TV recording feature so I thought I should perhaps purchase it. I already own a Nokia N93i & N95 8GB, & each has its own problem. Of the three, I most enjoy using the N92, though the camera is not as great as the N95.

This phone is excellent for web browsing, watching movies, & making video calls. Television service is quite impressive & the screen is crisp clear & the transmissions are received with excellent fluidity. With the addition of extra applications, & a 2GB memory card, this phone is a great multimedia performer. You must subscribe to the TV channels you wish to view, but the quality is quite good & for people who are out & about, or spend a lot of time out of their regular homes would definitely find the television & radio features quite god. There are many kinds of entertainment available for people who use portable devices, & this device offers music, video, TV, & games. There is never a dull moment. It is a shame Nokia did not offer a TV out feature since that would have given users the option to view subscription TV stations on any TV they plugged the unit into. However, the N96 will offer this function though the downside would be that the N96 could not record the TV programmes since that feature has been removed. It may sound as if it is not a big deal to have television recording on the phone, but it is quite a cool novelty. I mean, you can save the files, & transfer them to some other device such as a PlayStation 3 (although some conversion may be required) & watch the content that way. Another cool thing is that you can set the timer for a programme to record & if you are in a meeting or cannot view the programme you want to watch, the phone would record it & you'd be able to see it later.

I used to work for the BBC & for some reason, my Vodafone subscription TV never could be accessed in Henry Wood House W1. I think it had something to do with the trains, but this baby never failed, & I set the recorder for programmes & then watch them during my lunch breaks downstairs in the staff restaurant.

On the downside, the phone is not quad band so you could only use it in the region you purchased it. TV still feels experimental & the content is a little light, almost like a broadcasting afterthought, but the potential is there. I am not sure if TV will take off since most people who have the time to watch TV will probably do so on a bigger (& more comfortable screen), so this will probably only be for those who have to work away from home or move around a lot & need something to keep them entertained. The 2.0 Mega Pixel camera is pretty good, & produces some excellent shots, although video recording is a little choppy. However, it is inadequate, & no mobile phone is perfect. I still think this, along with Nokia N93i are two of the most enjoyable phones to use. I normally carry two phones anyway, so the features this handset does not have could be found on my other one, so this gets all the usage!

OK after searching for this mobile phone again in the same shop as I found it before 1 year & it was the same set! Nobody has bought it yet this is strange to me & so many people must have seen this phone it has become old they don't even have a new piece.

The funny thing is the price is still the same about $800. I found another one somewhere else it was not even knew he was asking $900. After looking at this very rare phone nobody even knows about it & it's become very old & the price is the same I am now considering buying the n96 as soon as it comes. Thanks.

I have notice there are many people here who still haven't found this phone, I don't seem to understand why this phone is so rare.

I found this phone 1 year back the only reason I did not buy it was because it was made by Nokia & from what I heard you should avoid these cells which says MADE BY Nokia.

Well but strangely that was a year ago & still I haven't found made by Finland anywhere forget anywhere no one even know that there is a phone called n92!

Hello I have been crazy about this cell.

Hello everyone I have often heard some people asking where they can get Nokia N92 & other Nokia SERIES, it is amazing that I bought this Nokia N92 when my former phone got spoilt & I have been enjoying the Nokia N92 Since then, it has a wonderful colour 2 Megapixel Camera 1600 by 1200 Pixels, 4 by Digital Zoom. I have had this mobile in my possession now for over a week & it's absolutely excellent. The speakers for listening to your music are the best I have had from any mobile so far. The only thing I do not like about this phone is the speakers when the phone rings. They seem to crackle & the quality seems to have completely disappeared when the phone rings. Then when you listen to the same audio through the media player it's crystal clear again. This is even when you have the ringing volume set to even its lowest & is very annoying. The mobile is on the large side of life but the features on this mobile are excellent.

I fell in love with this phone when I saw it on the Nokia website but after seeing the size of it I think I'd rather carry 2 of my w850i'is in my pocket rather than one of these. It is truly massive & I'm not a lover of small phones but this is far too big for the market of mobile phones. It has great camera abilities but only 2 megapixel? I feel that it should be much better for its unique design & size. The phone is so pretty but glad I didn't wait for it.

The phone its self is stylish & I find it easy to use, but my major concern is that Orange have decided not to bring out any of the web settings for it. I am not very happy because Orange are by far the cheapest mobile web provider & you can't use it. That is why usability is so low otherwise it is an amazing phone!!!

Check it out, 240 x 320 pixel, 16 million colour screen how much bigger do you want it? Sounds like the N92 comes with some astoundingly good capabilities. Lets hope they all work as well as they should...

I don't usually like flip phones but from the pictures I've seen of the Nokia N92 I may be converted. Sounds really nice but can it be this good, guess we will have to wait & see.
